Definitions

  • the invention relates to a so-called "flat ballpoint pen” consisting of two parts, the two parts of which are connected to one another and can be pivoted so that one part accommodates the other when not in use, which means that the pen is only about half the length of the writing form takes without getting fat.
  • the one receiving the writing lead part can then be folded out of the other part carrying the clip until both parts are in an extension, after which the one is locked or locked so far with the other that writing without risk of collapse can be.
  • the pen which is intentionally kept short in the non-use position, becomes very short or practically the same length or hardly longer in the use or writing position than in the non-use position, while experience has shown that longer pens are easier to hold.
  • the slots receiving the stub axis of rotation of the frame also lie in the mine part, as a result of which the latter is weakened.
  • a flat ballpoint pen in which the writing lead is stored in a main part and the tip of the lead is secured in the non-use position by a cap which overlaps the main part and thus thickens it at this point.
  • the main part has these debilitating slots over almost its entire length on both sides of the lead holder, into which the pivot pins attached to the inner end of the cap engage, so that this cap is first pulled forward for the writing position, then pivoted up and then in the slots backwards performed and there must be pushed back on the opposite end of the main part.
  • this recorder also has the same length in the assembled non-use position as in the writing position.
  • FIGS. 1, 2 and 5 show the ballpoint pen according to the invention in the folded non-use state (FIGS. 1, 2 and 5) and in the locked writing state (FIGS. 3 and 4).
  • Its main parts are the clip part, generally designated 1, and the mine part, generally designated 2.
  • the clip part 1 consists of the two legs 4a, 4b which are connected in the end region 3 or extend therefrom and taper from here in the direction of the mine part 2 and which are connected to one another at the end opposite the end region 3 by a spar 5 are.
  • the clip part 1 forms a closed frame 4a-3-4b-5 and thus a receptacle 6 in the plane of the frame when not in use Foldable mine part 1.
  • its inner contour 6 ' ie the outer contour of the receptacle 6, is adapted to the shape of the mine part 2, so that after folding according to FIGS. 1 and 2, a uniform, easily stowed, compact part is formed, in which the Surface and the bottom surface shown in the drawing, the clip 7 run flush.
  • the mine part 2 is tapered in the top view (Fig. 3) up to the mine tip 8, so that it lies well in the hand for writing.
  • Its lower handling area 9 receives the mine tube in a bore or recess (not shown), while its upper end is designed as a locking piece 10 which interacts with locking means of the clip part.
  • This is slotted for this purpose according to FIGS. 2 and 5 and consists of two spaced webs 11a and 11b which receive the spar 5 between them in the slot formed thereby.
  • the free ends of the webs 11 end in mutually facing, in this exemplary embodiment hook-shaped transverse strips 12a, 12b. 13 is an insertion notch obtained by chamfering the hooks for inserting the locking piece. If the transverse strips 12a, 12b are not connected to one another, the two webs 11a, 11b spread apart when pushed onto the spar 5 and snap back into their original position when they have slid over the spar.
  • a recess 14 is incorporated, which receives the refill tip 8 in the folded and pushed state of the ballpoint pen.
  • the legs 4a, 4b of the clip part 1 are stepped at their spar-side end and here have locking strips on their inner surfaces according to FIGS. 1 to 3 and 5 15a, 15b, upon which the ends of the webs 11a, 11b, the distance from which corresponds to the width of the slot 16, run up when the parts 1 and 2 are pushed together in the locking manner explained below.
  • the lead part 2 with its slot 16 is pulled off the locking strips 15 in the direction of arrow A and according to FIG. 6 6 pivoted towards the clip part, then pressed down according to the lower part of FIG. 6 and then pivoted further in the direction of arrow 8 until the part 2 according to FIG. 7 lies in one plane with the clip part 1, after which it is only in the direction of arrow C. needs to be pushed so far into part 1 until the mine tip 8 rests in its recess 14.
  • FIGS. 8 to 14 For the alternative embodiments developed from the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 7, as illustrated in FIGS. 8 to 14 and described below, corresponding or essentially corresponding parts for FIGS. 1 to 7 have been multiplied by 100 reference numbers used, for example for the parts 1, 2 and 3 of FIGS. 1 to 7 corresponding parts the reference numerals 100, 200 and 300.
  • Main parts of the flat ballpoint pen according to FIGS. 8 to 14 are, just like according to FIGS. 1 to 7, the clip part 100 and the lead part 200.
  • the clip part and the lead part are each made of two for reasons of injection technology and for reasons of better assembly Parts put together.
  • the clip part 100 is composed of the frame part 101 and the cap part 102.
  • the frame part 101 consists of the legs 400a and 400b with the end region 300 joining both legs and the spar 500 connecting the two free leg ends.
  • the end region 300 of the frame part 101, into which the recess 1400 for the mine tip holder is also incorporated, is shown in FIG. 9 stepped downward and fits so tightly and tightly into the pocket formed by the cap 102, open on the side 103.
  • the cap part 102 can thus be pushed onto the end region 300 in order to unite with the frame part 101 and thus to form the clip part 100 in such a way that the surfaces 104 and the side surfaces 104 'of the cap and frame run flush.
  • the lower wall 105 of the cap part is extended to clip 700.
  • the mine part 200 also consists of two parts, namely the two halves 201. In FIGS. 8 and 9 the upper half is removed and therefore only the lower half is visible.
  • the mine part arises from the fact that an identical cover is placed on the lower half 201 shown in Fig. 8 and coincident with the lower, e.g. by ultrasonic welding.
  • Each half consists of a horizontal wall 202 and two side walls 203 'and 203'', one, for example side wall 203', having a plurality of centering pins 204 and the other is provided with matching centering holes 205 (Fig. 10).
  • the side walls are combined at the tip 206 and have a mine tip receptacle 207 there.
  • the spar 500 of the clip part 100 is inserted into the end part of one half on the clip part side, then the other upper half is pressed in such a way that the centering pins 204 fit into the centering holes 205 and then both halves together, e.g. by gluing or ultrasonic welding, so that a uniform lead part 200 is formed according to FIGS. 11 to 13.
  • the locking piece according to Fig. 14 is also composed of two congruent halves and after assembly with the spar 500 between them the two halves, e.g. connected by ultrasonic welding.
  • Each half consists of the slot-forming locking part 209 with cross bars 1200 'and 1200' 'and the tongue part 210.
  • the spar 500 is placed on top of one another, centered and connected to one another Locking piece halves 208 form the slot 1600 and the tongue 210, on which the assembled lead part is attached, as indicated by the broken line in FIG. 8.
  • the lead M is fixed in a circular opening formed from the notches 212 in the tongue parts 210 together with the lead tip receptacle 207.
  • the two halves of the lead part forming the locking area or the locking pieces 208 can be designed to form a slot 1601 which, when locked, forms a pocket 1602 with a smaller width than the slot and the diameter of the bar 501 must be matched to the width of the pocket 1602.
  • These gaps prevent, with greater certainty than with a spar diameter that is matched to the slot width, that when the parts 201 and 201a are joined together, the heat is transferred to the spar by ultrasonic welding and the latter can stick to the webs.
