Definitions

  • the invention relates to a door wing for closing a through opening in a wall or enclosure such as house and room doors, consisting of an outer frame, each having an outer fold outer longitudinal legs and upper and lower outer cross legs and optionally between these extending inner cross legs, with a filling between the legs is arranged.
  • Corresponding door leaves which are also referred to as door in general parlance, can generally be produced mechanically and individually to the desired size.
  • DE-U-85 34 357 shows a door leaf which consists of individual parts which can be assembled on a construction site, for example, and which are glued together.
  • the assembly on site should give the advantage that the width of the door can be adapted to the door opening, which often does not correspond to the specifications, with only an adjustment with regard to the width in Is being considered. Once a door wing has been assembled and glued, its dimensions can no longer be changed.
  • GB-A-2 031 051 discloses door leaves in which outer legs are connected to one another by releasable connecting elements. With these door leaves, it is possible to replace panels by removing the outer legs. In this way, fillings with a different appearance can be used. It is not possible to change the size or function of the door leaf.
  • the object of the present invention is to design a door leaf of the type mentioned at the outset such that a change in the door leaf is possible by simple measures, an adaptation which meets the requirements not only in terms of size but also in terms of design and function .
  • An exchange of damaged parts should be as easy as changing the size.
  • the door should be designed so that it can perform more functions than just closing a door opening.
  • the object is essentially achieved in that at least one outer longitudinal leg with permanent connection to at least the outer transverse legs can be spaced apart from them and pivoted out of the plane spanned by the door wing.
  • the teaching according to the invention creates the possibility with structurally simple means, for example to replace the filling of the door leaf and / or to arrange or exchange it in a cavity surrounded by the filling, for example soundproofing, heat insulation or armor means or electrical / electronic elements and / or loudspeakers .
  • the construction according to the invention also makes it possible to successively replace the cross legs without the door leaf having to be disassembled into its individual parts.
  • a change in size as well as in function can thus be carried out with simple means, without the need for complex disassembly and subsequent assembly.
  • the teaching of the invention also has the advantage that the size of the door can be changed easily by changing the size only individual transverse and / or longitudinal legs in succession, without the wing having to be dismantled into its individual parts .
  • the door wing according to the invention can be purchased as an assembled unit or as a kit.
  • the latter means that the type of door is individually put together from existing and stocked individual parts and insert elements upon purchase.

  • connection between the outer and the inner frame is preferably made via terminal strips which can be introduced into mutually facing grooves in the frame.

  • the section extending in the cross leg preferably has two spaced-apart threaded sections which penetrate a holding element which extends from the outer longitudinal side of the cross leg and which has an internal thread which interacts with the threaded sections.

In addition, the door wing remains in its unit during these manipulations and only by "destroying" the original door wing is it possible to downsize.
