Definitions
- the invention relates to an air classifier, in which the classifying device consists of a rotating classifying wheel which flows against the centrifugal force and which is provided with blades on the outer circumference. Sight air and fine material leave the classifying wheel through an outlet nozzle, the coarse material is rejected by the rotating blade ring and arrives from the classifying room via a suitable discharge device.
- Proven air classifiers of this type are described for example in DE-PS 17 57 582 or DE-PS 33 03 078. Such a paddle wheel describes, for example, DE-PS 35 08 889.
- classifiers are sometimes equipped with an outlet nozzle extended to the dip tube for the fine material and the classifying air.
- the outlet nozzle protrudes as a fixed installation part by a certain amount into the classifying wheel (see DE-PS 33 03 078, Fig. 1, item 12).
- the object of the invention is therefore to design the classifying wheel in such a way that losses due to relative movements between moving parts and stationary components are significantly reduced.
- the object of the invention is to enable a compact classifier design.
- the inventive design of the air classifier according to the patent claims largely avoids the disadvantages described, which occur when using a fixed dip tube.
- the friction losses are reduced and a compact design is possible.
- a somewhat lower separator speed is generally required in order to achieve the same freedom. Supported by the lower relative speed that occurs between the rotating immersion tube and the particles carried along by the flow, this leads to a considerable reduction in wear.
- the pressure loss of the wind sifter designed according to the invention is significantly reduced compared to a wind sifter with a fixed outlet connection.
- the classifying wheel has an upper, first, downstream cover plate 1 and an axially offset lower, second cover plate 2. Between the two cover plates 1, 2 there are blades 3 at regular intervals in the circumferential direction.
- Such classifying wheels are known per se, so that further Comments on the formation of the blades 3 do not have to be made. In an embodiment closer to the previous versions, they are firmly arranged on the outer circumference of the upper and lower cover disks 1, 2 by holding the two cover disks together by bolts and holding the blades between them. Cover disks and blades form the classifying wheel rotating about its longitudinal axis 4.
- the outlet connection 5 is firmly connected to the upper cover plate 1. It is as a dip tube with section 6 inside of the classifying wheel 1 to 3, in order to be connected within the classifying wheel to the upper cover plate 1 in a rotationally fixed manner.
- the outlet nozzle above the upper cover plate 1 is widened in a funnel shape; Arrows and outflows of the visual air enriched with fine dust are marked by arrows 8,9.
- the rotary movement is initiated in the classifying wheel via the lower cover plate 2. In the area of the flow 8.9, the relative speed between the flow and the outlet connection 5 is greatly reduced compared to conventional solutions.
- the classifying wheel and its upper cover disk 1, assigned to the outlet connection 5 in a rotationally fixed manner, are arranged in the air classifier according to the invention according to FIG.
- the two housing parts 10, 11 lie one above the other in peripheral flanges 12, 13 and are detachably connected to one another by screw connections 14 inserted through these peripheral flanges.
- the lower housing part 10 has a lateral bracket 15, in which the cover 11 is pivotally mounted about its longitudinal axis by means of a pin 16. To pivot the cover 11 about the longitudinal axis of the pin 16, the screw connections 14 inserted through the flanges 12, 13 are released.
- the cover 11 is provided with a neck-shaped extension 17, in which the outlet connection 5 is rotatably mounted about its longitudinal axis with an upper, cylindrical tubular section 18 in two axially offset bearings 19, 20.
- the outlet nozzle is connected to a vacuum source, not shown. Also at the upper end, the drive torque is introduced into the outlet connection, for which purpose, as an example, outside the upper end of the neck-shaped extension 17, which end is releasably closed by a cover Pulley 21 fixed to the drive connector and a drive belt 22 acting thereon are shown.
- the second, lower cover plate 2 is fastened by means of a pin 23 to a bearing pin 24 which is mounted in bearings 25, 26 in a likewise neck-shaped extension 27 of the lower housing part 10 so as to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis.
- this second, lower cover disk 2 is designed as a horizontally arranged impact disk, in that on its outer circumference outside the blades 3, appropriately designed impact tools 28 are arranged, opposite which a grinding track 29 is arranged in the lower housing part 10.
- the lower cover plate 2 is driven separately, which is why the drive torque is introduced into the bearing bolt 24 outside the shoulder 27, for which purpose, again as an example, a pulley 30 is non-rotatably placed on the outer end of the bearing bolt 24 outside the end of the shoulder which is closed by a removable cover, on which a drive belt 31 acts.
- the belt drives 21, 22 on the one hand and 30, 31 on the other are matched to one another in such a way that the upper and lower cover disks 2, 3 are driven uniformly, but above all in a desired different speed ratio, and desired speed differences can occur and corresponding relative movements between the lower ends of the Buckets 3 and the lower cover plate 2 occur. Therefore, a fixed connection between the upper cover plate 1 and blades 3 is provided in this classifying wheel, but no contact is provided between blades 3 and lower cover plate 2. Between the rim of the blades 3 and the rim of the striking tools 28, above the striking tools 28, a guide tube 32 is arranged and held with supporting blades 33 in the lower housing part 10 in such a way that it surrounds the blade rim 3 concentrically.
- an inlet connection 34 opens radially into the lower housing part 10 directly above the housing base for introducing the classifying air.
- an inlet connection 35 for the material opens radially into the lower housing part 10 and is conveyed into the housing by means of an inlet screw 36 arranged in the inlet connection 35.
- the classifying air enters through the connecting piece 34, the material through the connecting piece 35 into the lower housing part 10, whereupon the classifying air enriched with good through the annular channel 37 between the guide tube 32 and the wall of the lower part 10 through a manifold 38 is supplied in the housing cover 11, in which a flow reversal takes place.
- the well-enriched classifying air now gets into the area inside the guide tube 32 to be sucked in from there in the radial direction into the classifying wheel, where the coarse-grained material is separated off on the blades 3, so that classifying material laden with fine material enters the classifying wheel.
- This fine air laden sight air is deflected in the sight wheel in an axial flow direction and is now sucked off through the dip tube 5.
- the fine material is also filtered out of the air in a filter downstream of the dip tube section 18.
- the material that is too coarse reaches the area of the impact tools 28 and the grinding track 29 along the cover disc 2 designed for the impact disc, in order to break up there into particles of smaller grain size gene and to be fed to the classifying wheel again with the classifying air and fresh material in the manner described.
- the interior of the housing 10, 11 is easily accessible and cleaning and maintenance, in particular of the classifying wheel part with the upper cover disc 1 and the blades 3 removed from the lower cover disc 2 and, if appropriate, its repair are readily possible.

Abstract
