Ein derartiges Näh-Schneidefüsschen ist aus der CH-Patentschrift 541. 650 bekannt geworden. Prinzipiell wird dabei die mit dem Füsschen verbundene Schere von der Auf- und Abwärtsbewegung der Nadelstange betätigt. Die Schere schneidet bei jedem Nadeleinstich eine kleine Schnittstrecke in Richtung der Stoffzufuhr vor der Einstichstelle. Die Schnittlänge muss einerseits kurz genug sein, damit der Schnitt auch einer Kurve folgen kann. Andrerseits muss die Schnittlänge grösser sein als die grösstmögliche Stichlänge der Maschine. Damit das Näh-Schneidefüsschen leicht auswechselbar ist, wird die Bewegung von einem bereits an der Nadelstange vorhandenen Teil, nämlich der Nadel-Befestigungsschraube hergeleitet. Der Hub des beweglichen Schenkels der Schere sollte nur etwa ein Zehntel des Hubes der Nadelstange sein. Das aus der CH-PS 541.650 bekannte Näh-Schneidefüsschen benötigt dazu eine doppelte Hebel-Uebersetzung. Die Konstruktion wird dadurch relativ kompliziert, schwerfällig und teuer in der Herstellung.
Die Erfindung stellt sich zur Aufgabe, ein Näh-Schneidefüsschen zu schaffen, das einfacher im Aufbau und billiger herzustellen ist. Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe mit einem Näh-Schneidefüsschen, das die Merkmale des Patentanspruches 1 aufweist.
In der beigefügten Zeichnung ist in den Figuren 1 und 2 schematisch die Hebelübersetzung nach dem CH-Patent Nr. 541 650 derjenigen des erfindungsgemässen Näh-Schneidefüsschens gegenübergestellt. Die Figuren 3-5 zeigen ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes und zwar in

In der Figur 1 ist der Hebelmechanismus nach der CH-PS 541 650 vereinfacht dargestellt. Die Nadel- Befestigungsschraube B greift in einem Längsschlitz des Hebels a ein, der um eine fest mit dem Füsschen F verbunde X-Achse schwenkbar ist. Ein Bolzen a₁ des Hebels a greift in einen Schlitz des zweiten Hebels b ein, der um die fest mit dem Füsschen F verbundene Achse Y schwenkbar ist. Die Achse y ist zugleich die Schwenkachse des bewegbaren Scherenschenkels S. Mit Hilfe der beiden Hebel a und b wird der Hub H der Nadelstange auf H/10 am Schneidschenkel reduziert.
Die Figur 2 zeigt den erheblich vereinfachten Hebelmechanismus des Näh-Schneidfüsschens nach der Erfindung. Hier ist das Füsschen selber wieder mit F bezeichnet. Ein etwa T-förmiger Schwenkhebel ist um die mit dem Füsschen fest verbundenen Achse X₁ schwenkbar. Ein mit dem Hebel verbundener Bolzen c₁ , greift in einen Schlitz des bewegbaren Scheren-Schneidschenkels 5 ein. Dieser ist um die mit dem Füsschen fest verbundenen Achse Y schwenkbar.

Damit die Flanke des Schwenkhebels immer an der Schraube B anliegt, ist eine im Schema nicht dargestellte Feder angebracht.
In den Figuren 3-5 ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines Näh-Schneidefüsschens in grösserem Massstab dargestellt. Das Füsschen 10 ist bei 11 federnd schwenkbar mit dem Halter 12 der Füsschen- Führungsstange 13 verbunden. Diese ist hier durch unterbrochene Linien dargestellt, da sie nicht Teil der Erfindung ist.
An einer Seite des Füsschens befindet sich eine Lager-Leiste 14 (s. Fig. 5) an dem die Schwenklager für den Schwenkhebel und für den schwenkbaren Scherenschenkel gelagert sind. Die Lagerleiste ist mit dem Füsschen 10 fest verbunden.
Der T-förmige Schwenkhebel 20 ist um die in der Leiste 14 befestigte Achse 21 schwenkbar. Ein Distanzring 22 und eine auf die Achse 21 aufgeschraubte Mutter 23 sorgen für die Führung des Hebels 20. Am vorderen Ende 24 ist ein Arm des Hebels U-förmig gebogen. Dieses U bildet einen Schutz gegen unbeabsichtigtes Berühren der Schere. Der emporragende Arm des T-förmigen Hebels hat eine Flanke 25 die im Betrieb an der Nadel-Befestigungsschraube 50 anliegt. Anders ausgedrückt, die Schraube 50 gleitet im Betrieb an der Flanke 25 auf und ab und bewirkt dadurch eine Schwenkbewegung des T-förmigen Hebels. Die Nadelstange 51 ist durch unterbrochene Linien dargestellt, da sie nicht Teil der Erfindung ist.
Damit die Flanke 25 immer an der Schraube B anliegt, ist eine Biegefeder 30 vorgesehen. Ein senkrecht umgebogenes Ende der Feder greift in eine Bohrung 31 der Leiste 14 ein. Die Feder umschlingt die Mutter 23 und ihr anderes Ende greift unter den vorderen Arm des T-förmigen Hebels. Damit der T-förmige Hebel den bewegbaren Schenkel 40 der Schere betätigen kann, ist er mit einem Zapfen 41 verbunden, der in einen Schlitz 42 des Schenkels 40 eingreift. Der Zapfen 41 bildet Teil einer Schraube 43 und ist exzentrisch zu dieser angebracht. Dadurch ergibt sich eine verstellmöglichkeit des Hubes des Scheren-Schenkels 40. Mit Hilfe der Mutter 44 kann die gewählte Einstellung fixiert werden. Der Scheren-Schenkel 40 ist um die Achse 45 schwenkbar. Eine Feder 46 sorgt für ein sattes Anliegen an den festen Scheren-Schenkel 47 und eine Mutter 48 erlaubt den Anspressdruck einzustellen. Der feste Scherenschenkel ist in Figur 5a für sich dargestellt. Der emporragende Teil 47′ ist in einer Nut in der Leiste 14 gehalten. Beide Schneide-Schenkel sind daher leicht auswechselbar.
Im dargestellten Beispiel ist die Flanke 25 des T-förmigen Hebelarmes gerade dargestellt. Dies bedeutet, dass die Schneidebewegung der Schere während des ganzen Hubs der Nadelstange stattfindet. Die Flanke 25 kann aber auch leicht gekrümmt sein. Dadurch kann die Schneidebewegung entweder auf den Anfang oder das Ende der Einstichbewegung verlegt werden.
Die Figuren 6-9 zeigen was sich mit dem Näh-Schneidefüsschen mit Hilfe einer modernen Nähmaschine machen lässt.

Claims (5)

  1. An exchangeable stitching and cutting foot attachable to a sewing machine with shears actuated by the oscillating motion of the needle bar, the movable cutting blade of which shears is actuated by means of a rocking lever comprising an arm rising from the sewing surface at an angle at least approaching the vertical and including a lateral edge set at an acute angle to the path of oscillation of the needle bar and which in operation is held under spring pressure against the needle-securing screw, characterised in that the pivot axis (45) of the cutting blade is offset laterally ahead of the needle penetration point in the vicinity of the foot, while the pivot axis (21) of the rocking lever (20) is offset laterally behind the needle penetration point in the vicinity of the pressure bar (13) supporting the foot, and in that a torsion spring (30) is fitted around the pivot axis (21) of the rocking lever (20), one end (31) of which spring is linked to a fixed part (14) of the foot, while its other end (32) is linked to the rocking lever (20).
  2. Stitching and cutting foot according to Claim 1, characterised in that the movable cutting blade (40) of the shears has a slot (42) in which a peg (41) linked to the rocking lever (20) engages.
