Abstract
Description
The invention relates to drainage channels for street, courtyard or building surface drainage. In the course of the demand for sealing all types of drainage objects against the ingress of liquids into the groundwater or the substructure, channels must also be included as part of this system. Channels of this type are currently either loosely plugged together or, if necessary, sealed with a grout, which, however, either only adheres briefly to the ends of the channels or is ground up by settlement and vibrations.
The object of ensuring a permanent tight connection of the channel joints is achieved according to the invention in that the front ends of the channel sections are prepared for the introduction of elastomeric sealing elements. If the channels are made of cement, steel or reactive resin concrete, then it is extremely advantageous if the ends are prepared for good adhesion of the permanently elastic joint sealing compound to be inserted after installation. This can be done, for example, by dipping the forehead into one solidifying impregnating agent or the like. It is also conceivable to introduce the joint sealing compound by pouring or injecting it into a groove provided on the end face of the channel sections. This groove can be half in one end.
A particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention consists in using a joint sealing compound consisting of two components which react with one another. Here, the two components can be accommodated in the front ends so that they react with one another at the moment of assembly and fill the sealing groove.
Another possibility for the permanent sealing of the joints is to provide a groove running over the entire profile height and to insert a permanently elastic sealing strip into this groove, which is at least partially deformed and / or compressed during assembly. In particular, the sealing strip has a hollow profile or an angle profile, the leg lying in the longitudinal direction is compressed in the groove when being assembled.
In order to be able to maintain the deformation and thus the sealing force over the entire installation period, the channel sections are preferably rigidly locked or connected to one another. For this purpose, the channel sections at the upper end can have interacting elements for hooking or threading, which remain effective until full alignment and bring about the deformation or compression of the sealing strip during the alignment movement. At the bottom, the channel sections have elements for rigid connection or locking. Instead of this hook and bolt connection can also a screw flange connection can be provided, the permanently elastic deformation of the seal being brought about when it is braced.
Further details of the invention emerge from the exemplary embodiments illustrated in the drawings, which are described in detail below.

In order to give the sealing
In the gutter design according to FIG. 3, there is no longer a filling opening, but only a
The seals according to FIGS. 4 to 6 are elastic sealing profiles which seal by deformation in the corresponding profiled groove. The
A variant of this last-described embodiment can consist in providing the profile of the sealing strip with a transverse web which lies between the gutter sections and limits the compression of the longitudinal web. At the same time, the crossbar, when it extends to the inside of the gutter, forms a clean, seamless transition between the two gutter sections.
Another possibility of connecting the gutter sections to one another is screw flanges that surround the front ends on the outside. Instead of the screw, a snap lock can be provided, which accelerates the assembly. The groove for the insertion of the elastomer seal lies in the flanges themselves.
