This arrangement facilitates easy insertion of the lower portion of the mast stands into the support structures during assembly and easy removal of the lower ends of the mast stands from the support structures 58 during disassembly. It can be seen that in the arrangement described, apart from attaching and detaching the hydraulic hoses, the whole assembly and disassembly can be carried out from the driver's seat. No separate tools or aids are required for this.
  • Cross tube 106 moves in an arc around tubes 102 directly into or out of front support assembly 114 without the loader having to be pulled over the tractor frame or attachment assembly.
