Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1 for adjusting an at least liftable, but preferably also additionally movable wing of a window, a door or the like, wherein there is a drive rod on the wing which is used to lower the wing by means of a Actuator is slidable downward, and with a sliding element mounted approximately parallel to the drive rod on the wing, which abuts against an element of the fixed frame during the lowering movement of the wing.
  • a device is known from EP-A-0 152 791.
  • liftable sashes are additionally adjusted after lifting, in particular moved to the side. In the case of a door, you are thus opening a passage.
  • the sash In the closed position, the sash must be sealed as far as possible from the fixed frame.
  • it is equipped with sealing strips or the like, which rest on corresponding counter-sealing surfaces of the fixed frame when the sash is lowered. Accordingly, there are sealing strips of this type not only at the upper and lower ends, but also on the two longitudinal spars. If the sash is only raised, the upper and lower seals are released, but not the side seals. If this wing is to be lowered again, the friction of the seals counteracts the lowering movement.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to create a device of the type mentioned at the beginning which forced lowering of the raised wing guaranteed
  • a device according to the preamble of claim 1 is designed in accordance with the characterizing part of this claim.
  • This device brings about a forced lowering of the raised wing when the actuating member is adjusted in the lowering direction and the lowering movement of the drive rod caused thereby. If the latter is in contact with the associated lever arm of the double-armed lever, the adjusting force is transmitted to the sliding element via the double-armed lever.
  • the wing must necessarily be moved relative to the sliding element, which in this case means a lowering movement of the wing.
  • the wing After the wing performs a relative movement with respect to the sliding element when lowering, i. H. is forcibly lowered when the sliding element is at a standstill, of course there is a reverse relative movement of the wing and sliding element when the wing is lifted. If, when the wing is lifted up, it supports the sliding element on the frame-fixed element, then the wing can be raised or raised further relative to the stationary sliding element, this being pushed back into its starting position relative to the wing.
  • the wing can be completely lowered in the desired manner when the actuating member is rotated into the assigned rotational position.
  • a known gear is connected between this actuator and the drive rod, which may be a so-called three-position gear, for example. In the latter case, other functions are switched via the drive rod, for example causing the wing to tip or causing another relative movement of the wing with respect to the fixed frame.
  • the drive rod in particular the vertical drive rod arranged on the closing side, is coupled in terms of movement with at least a lower corner deflection with a further horizontal drive rod or directly or indirectly with corresponding elements of a lifting device of a known type.
  • Such wings normally rest on at least two so-called carriages, which are expediently rigidly coupled to one another. The wing is lifted relative to the carriage.
  • the double-armed lever is at least essentially below the sliding element. It is, of course, rotatably mounted on the wing, the bearing axis being located to the side of the drive rod. For example, it can also be located between the drive rod and the sliding element, or at least the end piece of the sliding element associated with the double-armed lever.
  • the sliding element is supported with an upper end on the upper cross member of the fixed frame, in particular on a guide rail attached to it, for the upper wing end.
  • the upper end of the sliding element must be designed according to the profile of this spar or the guide rail.
  • a further embodiment of the invention consists in that the other lever arm of the double-armed lever engages under a downwardly facing surface of the drive rod or a device part firmly connected thereto, at least during the lowering movement. Therefore, this abutting surface of the drive rod then presses against the lever arm of the double-armed lever located below or coming into contact with it, as a result of the actuation of the downward sliding movement, so that, at least in the lowering-end movement, the wing is pressed down relative to the stationary sliding element becomes.
  • the other lever arm of the double-armed lever engages in a recess or a breakthrough in the drive rod. This construction is particularly easy to implement and space-saving.
  • a particularly favorable power transmission can be achieved with a double-armed lever, because the angle of rotation to the horizontal central position, for example, is only relatively small, and this results in favorable lever ratios let create.
  • a corresponding arrangement of the pivot point to the lever arms can achieve a translation between the drive side and the output side of the double-armed lever.
  • this displacement movement of the drive rod or of the drive rod part assigned to the double-armed lever can be used for other purposes, in particular for actuating other fitting elements.
  • the stroke which can be generated via the actuating member is substantially greater than the stroke of the wing, the values being 25 mm and 7 mm, for example.
  • a further development of the invention aimed in this direction is that to form the lost motion the length of the drive rod opening is greater than the width of the other lever arm engaging therein, each viewed in the direction of displacement, this other lever arm resting on the upper opening end when the wing is lowered and when the wing is raised Wing of it has a distance corresponding to the lost motion distance. No additional effort is therefore required due to this lost motion, rather a correspondingly large opening in the drive rod is sufficient.
  • a special guide for example in a guide rail, is provided for the drive rod, which is let in in particular in a groove of the wing, above all on the closing vertical wing spar.
  • the sliding element is also guided displaceably in this longitudinal guide for the drive rod.
  • the sliding element expediently has two parts which can be telescopically displaced and locked against one another, the parts being fixed against one another after the setting of this device.
  • a two-part or multi-part design of the sliding element can also be very advantageous with regard to simple and quick installation, in particular subsequent installation of the device in an already existing fitting.
  • a wing 2 In a fixed frame 1, a wing 2 can be lifted in the direction of the arrow 3 and then moved in the direction of the arrow 4, the arrow 4 symbolizing the opening direction.
  • the lifting is carried out in a known manner by means of an actuating mechanism 5 designed as a handle, which is pivoted for this purpose in the direction of arrow 6.
  • the pivoting movement is transmitted to a drive rod 8 in particular via a gear 7 of a known type.
  • This is coupled in a likewise known manner via a lower corner deflection 9 to a front carriage 10.
  • a connecting rod 11 leads to a second or rear carriage.
  • the wing is sealed at its lower end, for example via two sealing strips 14 and 15 embedded in the lower cross member, against the fixed frame, these sealing strips in the exemplary embodiment being pressed onto horizontal legs of a running rail 16 in a sealing manner.
  • Upper sealing strips 17 and 18 are pressed on the associated profile end of an upper guide rail 19 when the sash is lowered.
  • Appropriate sealing strips are also located on the vertical bars. If the wing is initially only raised, that is to say shifted in its plane, the lower and upper sealing strips 14, 15, 17 and 18 are released, but the sealing strips on the vertical bars remain under tension. Accordingly, both raising and lowering the wing with a pure lifting or lowering movement within the wing plane is associated with a correspondingly high level of friction.
  • the device 20 is installed, for example on the upper wing end on the closing side.
  • Essential elements of this forced lowering device are, in addition to the already mentioned and usually at this point, that is to say in particular on the vertical wing spar on the closing side anyway, drive rod 8, a sliding element 21 (FIG. 3) and an interposed double-acting one acting as a transmission member Lever 23. All parts are slidably or rotatably mounted on the wing or on the vertical wing spar 24 on the closing side.
  • the axis of rotation of the double-armed lever is designated 25, and it preferably consists of a notch pin or the like.
  • the sliding element of the first embodiment consists of several parts.
  • the lower part 26 assigned to the double-armed lever is slidably mounted with a shoulder 27 in a guide groove 28, a guide rail 29 which is embedded in a groove of the spar 24.
  • the drive rod 8 is also slidably mounted in the groove 28.
  • a middle part consisting of a rod 31 is connected between the lower part 26 and an upper part 30 of the sliding element 21 . It has a head 32 with which it can be hung from the side into the upper part 30. Its lower end protrudes into a bore 33 in the lower part 26. After the setting described in more detail below, it is held in this bore by means of a clamping screw 34 or the like.
  • the upper part 30 of the sliding element 21 is slidably mounted in a guide part 35 which is already present in this wing and is associated with the upper corner and is made of plastic.
  • this device is as follows: If the actuating handle 5 is rotated in the direction of the arrow 6 with the wing 2 lowered, this results in an upward movement of the drive rod 8 in the direction of the arrow 12 in the gear 7 used there. This removes the downward-facing surface 38 or the upper end of the opening 39 of the drive rod 8 from the other leg 37 of the double-armed lever 23. At the same time, the wing 10 is lifted by means of the lifting device mentioned. By moving the upper end of the connecting rod, the double-armed lever 23 has the possibility of rotating in the direction of arrow 40. Since the upper end of the sliding element 21 cannot take part in the lifting movement of the wing 2 because of the upper guide rail 19, the wing moves upwards relative to this sliding element.
  • the sliding element 21 can remain in constant contact with the one lever arm 36 and, due to its own weight, perform a downward movement with respect to the upper guide rail 19, as shown in FIG. 4 of the drawing, which shows the Represents the final lifting position of the wing. In itself, a downward movement that is slightly larger than the door stroke is sufficient. The movement and size relationships must be selected so that the lever arm 36 still engages under the contact edge.
  • the device described is relatively easy to install, and it can even be installed in existing wings.
  • a bore for the axis of rotation 25 and an opening 39 on the drive rod 8 are required.
  • a guide for the upper end of the sliding element 21 must also be provided at the upper end, in particular in the case of a guide part 35 on the latter.
  • the sliding element parts 26 and 30 are inserted into the guide rail 29 at the end.
  • the rod 31 must then be hooked in and inserted into the bore 33.
  • the locking is then carried out with the aid of the clamping screw 34, which requires the presence of a corresponding opening 41 on the guide rail 29.
  • the wing is pushed slightly to the side after lifting and then lowered again.
  • the clamping screw 34 is then loosened and the rod 31 with the upper part 30 of the sliding element 21 is pushed upwards until it abuts the upper guide rail 19. It must be ensured that the wing is completely lowered. Then the clamping screw 34 is tightened.
