Claims (9)

  1. Feuille abrasive (24) comprenant un support (16) qui porte une couche de liant (18) d'épaisseur sensiblement uniforme dans laquelle des grains abrasifs (14) sont liés sensiblement dans un plan, et dans laquelle une partie de pratiquement tous les grains (14) fait saillie par rapport à la surface de la couche de liant (18), ladit feuille abrasive étant caractérisée en ce que les grains abrasifs (14) sont disposés à un espacement latéral prédéterminé, et ils sont sensiblement de même dimension et passent à travers un tamis ayant des ouvertures de 300 µm.
  2. Feuille abrasive (24) suivant la revendication 1, caractérisée en outre en ce que sensiblement tous les grains (14) sont équiaxiaux et sensiblement du même diamètre, et tous les grains (14) font saillie sensiblement de la même quantité par rapport au liant (18).
  3. Feuille abrasive (24) suivant la revendication 1, caractérisée en outre en ce que des grains uniques (14) sont alignés en rangées uniformément espacées.
  4. Feuille abrasive (24) suivant la revendication 3, caractérisée en outre en ce qu'une grande longueur de cette feuille est enroulée sur elle-même en bobine, lesdits grains (14) étant disposés suivant un dessin prédéterminé qui se répète un grand nombre de fois sur la longueur de la feuille (24).
  5. Feuille abrasive (24) suivant la revendication 4, caractérisée en outre en ce que ledit dessin prédéterminé laisse des zones de la couche de liant (18) exemptes de grains abrasifs (14) aux endroits où un outil vient en contact avec la feuille (24) pour couper celle-ci en articles de formes désirées, de sorte que l'outil de coupe est protégé du contact avec les grains abrasifs (14).
  6. Feuille abrasive (24) suivant la revendication 1, caractérisée en outre en ce que des grains abrasifs additionnels (14), de dimension sensiblement égale et différente de la dimension des grains abrasifs mentionnés en premier (14) sont individuellement positionnés suivant un deuxième dessin prédéterminé, et une partie non revêtue de pratiquement tous lesdits grains additionnels (14) fait saillie par rapport à la surface de la couche de liant (18).
  7. Procédé de fabrication d'une feuille abrasive (24) suivant la revendication 1, par les étapes successives de :
    1) attraction de petits grains abrasifs (14), de dimension sensiblement égale et passant à travers un tamis à ouvertures de 300 µm, seulement vers des points (13) latéralement espacés suivant un dessin prédéterminé sur un élément porteur (12),
    2) tout en faisant avancer un support (16) qui comporte une couche de liant collante (18) en synchronisme avec ledit élément porteur (12), transfert des grains attirés (14) dans la couche de liant (18) suivant ledit dessin, et
    3) traitement de la couche de liant (18) pour la rendre non collante.
  8. Procédé suivant la revendication 7, caractérisé en outre en ce que, à l'étape 2) de ce procédé, les grains (14) sont pressés dans la couche de liant (18).
  9. Procédé suivant la revendication 7, caractérisé en outre en ce que ledit élément porteur (12) recouvre la surface cylindrique extérieure d'un tambour rotatif (10) et, à l'étape 1), on fait tourner le tambour (10) dans un lit fluidisé desdits grains (14).
