Definitions
- the invention relates to the housing of a processing machine for mineral raw materials (such as stones, gravel and the like) or the processing of recycling material (such as artificial stones, reinforced concrete and the like).
- the invention therefore relates in particular to the housing of crushers, for example jaw crushers or impact head crushers, this housing consisting of plates which are at right angles to one another and are firmly connected to one another at the joints.
- Such crushers are large and heavy units, the weight of which is usually over 100 t. This makes transport and assembly on site considerably more difficult. So far, however, this had to be accepted as a peculiarity of such heavy machines.
- the crusher housing usually consists of side parts in which the movable crushing jaw is mounted, a stable rear wall carrying the drive unit, and an anvil representing the fixed crushing jaw.
- the side parts, the rear wall and the anvil formed from numerous plates and double-T beams have so far been connected by welding at the joints of the plate-shaped housing parts.
- the object of the invention is to propose a construction for the connection of the plate-shaped housing parts, which leads to a considerable ease of handling during transport, assembly, disassembly and relocation of the machine.
- the housing plates of a crusher housing are no longer permanently connected by welded connections and / or by screwed connections in a manner which is also to be produced by the manufacturer. Rather, the eyelet-wedge connections provide a type of connection that only allows the user to establish the connection and also enables the connection to be easily re-established and re-established there.
- the openings and eyelets required for this type of connection can be easily produced. Both are fully in the panel area and can be worked out of the panel material without additional effort. Basically, it would of course be possible to give the eyelets a lesser or greater thickness than the corresponding plate has. However, it is of course the simplest and therefore expedient to let the eyelet have the same thickness as the plate has from the start. On the other hand, it is expedient to design the openings for the passage of the eyelet with a corresponding oversize with regard to the cross-sectional dimensions of the eyelet, so that the plugging together of the housing plates is facilitated. A fit is not important here because the housing plates will be supported along the abutting edges and by the wedge forces.
- Fig. 1 shows a jaw crusher 10, the movable crushing jaw 12 is pivotable about a fixed jaw jaw shaft 14 and cooperates with a massive anvil 16 serving as a crushing abutment.
- the movable crushing jaw 12 is provided with an eccentric drive 18 built on its rear side, the flywheels 20 of which lie outside the housing under a cover 22 (FIG. 2).
- the drive motor 24 is also constructed on the outside.
- the eccentric drive 18 moves the movable crushing jaw 12 back and forth against the action of springs 28 via a kinematics 26, the material to be broken introduced into the jaw crusher 10 being pressure-reduced between the movable crushing jaw 12 and the anvil 16.
- the crushing space between the movable crushing jaw 12 and the anvil 16 and the drive are arranged in the interior of a crusher housing 30 formed from large plate-shaped parts.
- the crusher housing consists of two generally congruent side parts 32 of a base plate 34, a rear cover plate 36, and an upper housing cover which is made in two parts: a relatively thin cover plate 38 connects the side parts 32 in the area above the crushing jaw shaft 14 or the crusher inlet, while a massive support plate 40 adjoins this backwards and extends to the area above the delivery of the crusher.
- the entire drive unit including eccentric drive 18 and drive motor 24 is preassembled on the support plate so that the drive unit can be handled together with these parts.
- the two side parts 32 are additionally provided with two cross struts 42 above the crusher mouth and a cross bar 44 above the kinematics 26 connected to each other in the upper part and in the lower part by the massive construction of the anvil 16.
- Eyelet-wedge connections as shown in FIG. 3 in detail, now serve to fasten all of these housing parts to one another.
- the anvil 16 has correspondingly massive eyelets 46 which penetrate correspondingly large openings in the side parts 32. It can be seen that a whole number of such eyelets 46 of the anvil 16 are provided in a row. Thus, in the embodiment according to FIG. 1 there are five eyelets 46 on the anvil plate which pass through the side parts 32 to the outside, and four in the embodiment according to FIG. 2.
- the base plate 34 is provided with eyelets 48 which again protrude outwards through a series of openings in the side parts 32. Since the anvil 16 and the base plate 34 lie parallel to one another, the openings for the eyelets 46 and 48 also lie one above the other in two parallel rows in the side parts 32.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 each show five openings in series with through-going eyelets 48 of the base plate 34.
- the anvil 16 and base plate 34 are formed in this way with respect to both side parts 32.
- the side parts 32 themselves have eyelets 50 which on the one hand pass through corresponding openings in the cover plate 36 and on the other hand in those of the cover plate 38 or the support plate 40. Also in the eyelets 50 for connecting the side parts 32 to the cover plate 36 and the cover plate 38, as shown in the figure, five such eyelets 50 are arranged in series on each side. In the area of the support plate 40 for the drive one can be flat such connection with eyelets 52 also serve for the construction of the brackets for the eccentric drive 18 on the support plate 40.
- cross struts 42 and the crossbar 44 can be led out through the side parts 32 in the same way with eyelets.
- the eyelets can protrude either in the manner of the eyelets 50 for the penetration of the cover plate 38 in FIG. 1 over the outer edge of the respective housing plate, that is to say here the side parts 32.
- the eyelets 50 which penetrate the cover plate 36:
- the eyelets 50 are arranged in an indentation 54 of the side parts 32 and have a height above the bottom of the indentation 54, which is the depth of the indentation.
- the outer edge of the eyelets 50 provided here is flush with the outer edge of the side parts 32 at this point. This means that an eyelet connection can be made here without the plate having to undergo additional dimensioning because of the eyelet height.
- eyelet arches 56 which are generally rectangular in plan view and encompass an eyelet hole which is also approximately rectangular in cross section.
- the eyelet arches have such a projection on the abutting edge of the housing plate with which they are in one piece, that after the eyelets have been inserted through the opening in the associated one other housing plate, part of the eyelet hole 58 remains in the area of the plate through which the eyelet protrudes outwards, while the larger part of the eyelet hole 58 is generally outside the outer surface of this plate, so that it is accessible here.
- a wedge 60 is now driven into the part of the eyelet 58 accessible here.
- Each wedge 60 has on its side facing the outside of the housing a flat support surface 62 with which the opposite wedge surface 64 forms a wedge angle.
- This wedge angle is designed according to the physical laws of friction on the wedge so that the wedge 60 is self-locking so that it cannot come loose from the eye. Nevertheless, the wedge can of course be knocked out under the action of a corresponding force, so that the parts can be easily dismantled. This is sometimes necessary for moving.
- FIG. 3 shows in detail the eyelet-wedge connection according to the invention in the region of the connection of the plate forming the anvil 16 to one of the two side parts 32.
- the anvil 16 is with provided with an eyelet 46 projecting beyond its abutting edge.
- the eyelet arch 56 of the eyelet 46 has the same thickness as the plate forming the anvil 16 itself. It is simply made from the same material.
- the eyelet arch 56 encompasses an eyelet hole 58, which after being pushed through until the abutting edge of the anvil 16 stops on the inside of the housing of the side part 32 partly lies in the opening in the side part 32, but partly also lies outside.
- the wedge 60 is now hammered in, which is supported with its flat support surface 62 on the surface of the plate forming the outside of the housing, which forms the side part 32, while its opposite wedge surface 64 is supported on the inside of the eyelet 56.
- This can also be adapted to the wedge surface 64, but need not be.
- the wedge 60 has only a slightly smaller width in the transverse direction, which cannot be seen in FIG. 3, than the eyelet hole 58.
- the anvil 16 is further underlaid with a double-T support 66 which stiffens the crushing abutment and is covered on the top with a wear plate 68.
- a chain conveyor 70 is used for feeding the material to be crushed, the chain conveyor being equipped with spreading strips 72 which extend transversely to the conveying direction and transversely through the crushing space and are easily replaceable.
- the chains of the chain conveyor 70 run in a profile rail 74 provided as a chain guard, which is permanently connected with bolts 76 to side parts 32, because this part can already be assembled by the manufacturer.
- a further wear plate is provided as a side wedge 78 in the region of the wedge-shaped tapering crushing space above the profile rail 74 serving as chain protection. This side wedge is also connected to the side part 32 by the manufacturer using screw connections 80.

Abstract
