Abstract
Ein atmosphärischer Gasbrenner umfaßt wenigstens ein langgestrecktes, innerhalb einer Brennkammer angeordnetes Brennerrohr (1), dessen Wandung an ihrer Oberseite Gemischaustrittsöffnungen für ein dem Brennerrohr (1) zugeführtes Gas-Luft-Gemisch aufweist. Diesem, vorzugsweise metallenen Brennerrohr (1) ist eine Halterung (4) für zumindest einen, vorzugsweise aus keramischem Material bestehenden, im wesentlichen zur Achse des Brennerrohres (1) parallelen, in einem Abstand (x) von der Oberseite der Rohrwandung verlaufenden Kühlstab (2) zugeordnet. Ein solcher Gasbrenner ist aus US-A-4 525 141 und aus der DE-U- 8 507 804 bekannt. Bei den vorbekannten Gasbrennern sind die Kühlstäbe in zwei den beiden Endbereichen des Brennerrohres zugehörigen Halterungen gelagert, die sich innerhalb der Längserstreckung des Brennerrohres befinden und infolgedessen in mehrfacher Hinsicht störend sind. Diese Halterungen verursachen nicht nur einen erheblichen Aufwand bei ihrer Herstellung und Befestigung, sie behindern auch den Zugang zu den in der Oberseite der Wandung des Brennerrohres angeordneten Gemischaustrittsöffnungen im Falle einer Wartung des Brenners. Dadurch, daß sie den Flammenbereich an beiden Stirnseiten des Brennerrohres gewissermaßen begrenzen, können sie innerhalb ihres Abstandes voneinander einen Hitzestau im Flammenbereich herbeiführen, der zu einem erhöhten Schadstoffausstoß beim Betrieb des Brenners führt. Schließlich erschweren solcherart angeordnete Halterungen auch die Aus wechslung und Montage bzw.
