Abstract

Bei einem Bauteil, insb. einem Verpackungsbehälter (21), aus ferromagnetischem Ma­ terial sind die die Aufstandsfläche (41) oder Auflagefläche des Bauteils (21) bildenden Be reiche des Bodens gezielt mit einer Schutzschicht aus Korrosionsinhibitoren ver­ sehen. Zum Aufbringen der Inhibitoren wird der Behälter (21) in normaler Lage durch eine Behandlungszone (8) geführt in der die betreffenden Bereiche der Aufstandsfläche (41) gezielt in Kontakt mit einer die Inhibitoren enthaltenden Flüssigkeit gebracht werden. Die Behandlungszone (8) ist in eine übliche Transportstrecke für die Bauteile eingeschaltet. Zur Steuerung des Flüssigkeits­ spiegels in der Behandlungszone und damit zur Steuerung des Ausmaßes der von der Flüssigkeit benetzten Bodenfläche ist ein Überlaufbehälter mit einstell­ barem Überlauf für die Behandlungsflüssigkeit vorgesehen.
