Es ist nachteilig, daß solche Rakelgeräte mehrere für sich selbständige Bauteile bilden, die insbesondere zur Beeinflussung des Auftragungsergebnisses und/oder für einen Maschinentyp aneinander angepaßt zur Verfügung gehalten werden müssen und nur getrennt voneinander handhabbar, also nur getrennt voneinander einzubauen, herauszuneh men und zu reinigen sind. Das Auftragungsergebnis hängt insbesondere von der verwendeten Rakel, deren Anpreßkraft, dem Substratmaterial, der Substanzviskosität und/oder der mit der Rakelvorrichtung erreichbaren Größe bzw. der räumlichen Form des Substanzraumes oder -vorrates vor einer Rakel ab. Z.B. werden Rakelrollen mit kleinem Durchmesser für die Auftragung geringer Substanzmengen, Rakelrollen mit großem Durchmesser hingegen für die Auftragung größerer Substanzmengen benötigt. Damit ergibt sich eine unerwünschte Abhängigkeit des Substanzraumes oder des vor der Rakelanpreß- oder Auftragslinie liegenden Substanzkeiles von der verwendeten Rakel und/oder von der Kraft zur Anpressung einer Rakel. Zwar sind mit den bekannten Rakelvorrichtungen bereits Maßnahmen getroffen worden, um die Abhängigkeit von einer Anpreßkraft, die für einige Auftragsmaterialien bzw. Waren- oder Substratqualitäten nicht zu hoch sein darf, zu reduzieren. Mit der an die Profilleistenrückseite anpreßbaren Rakelrolle kann auch, allerdings nur in praktisch beschränktem Maß, zusätzlich zu einer Rollrakelwirkung eine das Auftragungsergebnis beeinflussende Streichrakelwirkung erzeugt werden. Insbesondere aber müssen bei den bekannten Vorrichtungen die Auftragungsmenge, die Größe des Substanzraumes und/oder dessen Form mit der Wahl der Rakel und/oder der zugeordneten gesonderten Profilleiste vor Inbetriebnahme einer Druckvorrichtung bestimmt werden.
