Abstract
Description
- Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Handbrause, die einen Brausekopf mit Wasseraustrittsöffnungen sowohl für stetigen als auch für pulsierenden Brausestrahl sowie eine Umschaltvorrichtung umfasst, mit welcher das Wasser wahlweise in eine der beiden Austrittsöffnungs-Gruppen gelenkt werden kann.
- Man kennt bereits Handbrausen mit Umschaltvorrichtung, welche das Umschalten der normalen, das heisst steten Dusche zu einer pulsierenden, das heisst massierenden Dusche erlauben. Bei den bereits bekannten Handbrausen bewirkt man diese Funktion indem man den Wasserstrom auf ein Flügelrad oder dergleichen lenkt, das beim Rotieren abwechselnd einen Teil der Wasseraustrittsöffnungen sperrt. Die Schwachstellen einer derartigen Handbrause sind die Lagerstellen der Flügelradachse sowie die scharfen Ecken der Flügelnut, die sich im Laufe der Zeit abnutzen oder infolge Verschmutzung funktionsuntüchtig werden.
- Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung soll deshalb eine Handbrause des genannten Typs geschaffen werden, die gegenüber den bisherigen Geräten betriebszuverlässiger und gleichzeitig verhältnismässig einfach in der Herstellung ist. Die Erfindung basiert darauf, dass keinerlei gelagerten rotierenden Bauteile verwendet werden, sondern das Sperren der Öffnungen von einem in einem Umlaufkanal oder -tunnel angeordneten, vom strömenden Wasser bewegten Schiffchen bewirkt wird.
- Die Hauptmerkmale der Erfindung gehen aus dem beigefügten Patentanspruch 1 hervor, und in den Unteransprüchen sind einige vorteilhafte Ausführungsformen der Erfindung niedergelegt.
- Die Erfindung einschliesslich ihrer sonstigen Merkmale und Vorteile wird im folgenden in Form eines Ausführungsbeispiels und unter Bezugnahme auf die beigefügten Zeichnungen im einzelnen beschrieben. Es zeigen:
- Fig. 1 die erfindungsgemässe Handbrause im Schnitt seitlich betrachtet,
- Fig. 2 einen Schnitt längs der Geraden A-A in Fig. 1.
- In Fig. 1 ist ein Teil des mit der Bezugszahl 1 bezeichneten Griffes der Handbrause weggelassen. Am Ende des Griffes 1 ist auf normale Weise ein becherförmiger Brausekopf angeordnet, der die pauschale Bezugzahl 2 trägt. An der kreisflächenförmigen Unterseite 3 des Brausekopfes sind zum einen Austrittsöffnungen 4 für stetigen Wasserstrahl und zum anderen Austrittsöffnungen 5 für pulsierenden Wasserstrahl angeordnet.
- Aus fertigungstechnischen Gründen ist zwischen dem becherförmigen Teil 2 und dem unteren Teil 3 des Brausekopfes ein separates Teil 19 angeordnet, und die Teile 3 und 19 sind mit Schrauben 6 am Becherteil 2 befestigt.
- Die Zahl 7 bezeichnet einen zweiarmigen Hebel 7 der Umschaltvorrichtung, der wiederum auf eine in der Zeichnung vertikal bewegliche Spindel 8 wirkt, an deren Ende sich ein Ventilteller 9 befindet.
- Die Feder 14 ist bestrebt, den Teller 9 in der in Fig. 1 gezeigten Tiefstellung zu halten, in welcher er gegen die Fläche 10 abdichtet.
- Bei Normalstellung, in der sich der Teller 9 gemäss Fig. 1 in Tiefstellung befindet, gelangt das Wasser über den Kanal 11 im Griff 1 in die Kammer 12, welche mit dem ringförmigen Raum 13 im Becherteil 2 in Verbindung steht. Das Wasser tritt in diesem Falle als steter Strom aus den Öffnungen 4 aus.
- Wird der rechte, kürzere Arm des Hebels 7 niedergedrückt, so erfolgt dadurch ein Anheben des Ventiltellers 9, und das Wasser wird in den ringförmigen Kanal 16 gelenkt, von wo es über die Einspeisekanäle 18 in den ringförmigen Umlaufkanal 15 gelangt, wie deutlicher aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich ist, und schliesslich aus den eine pulsierende Dusche liefernden Öffnungen 5 austritt. Dank dem Wasserdruck bleibt der Ventilteller 9 in Hochstellung bis der Wasserzufluss gesperrt oder der längere Arm des Hebels 7 nach unten gezwungen wird.
- Die Konstruktion des ringförmigen Kanals 16, der Einspeisekanäle 18 und des Umlaufkanals 15 gehen besser aus Fig. 2 hervor. Wie ersichtlich, erstrecken sich die Einspeisekanäle 18 vom ringförmigen Kanal 16 schräg nach innen in den Umlaufkanal 15, wobei die Richtung der Kanäle 18 mit der Tangente des Umlaufkanals 15 einen Winkel von vorzugsweise 30° bis 60° einschliesst. Gemäss der Erfindung ist im Umlaufkanal 15 weiter ein frei bewegliches, mit ausreichendem Spiel in den Kanal 15 passendes Schiffchen 17 angeordnet, dessen Länge so gewählt ist, dass es jeweils einen Teil der Austrittsöffnungen 5 sperrt. Infolge der schrägen Anordnung der Kanäle 18 versetzt der Wasserstrom das Schiffchen 17 in eine stetige Umlaufbewegung.
- Beim beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiel sind die Austrittsöffnungen 5 in drei Gruppen zu je drei Öffnungen angeordnet. Das Schiffchen 17 ist in seiner Länge so bemessen, dass es in einer bestimmten Stellung stets eine Öffnungsgruppe auf einmal abdeckt. Der Positionierung der Austrittsöffnungsgruppen und der Einspeisekanäle kommt im Hinblick auf die Rotationsgeschwindigkeit eine wichtige Bedeutung zu. Die Rotationsgeschwindigkeit ist, so hat man festgestellt, dann am grössten, wenn sich, wie in Fig. 2, die Einspeiseöffnung ungefähr in der Mitte zwischen zwei Öffnungsgruppen befindet. Natürlich ist in der Praxis auch eine Konstruktion mit veränderlichen Mündungsstellen der Einspeisekanäle 18 denkbar. Am leichtesten dürfte dies in der Weise zu bewerkstelligen sein, dass man die Öffnungen 5 an einem separaten, abgedichteten Ringkörper anordnet, dessen Stellung durch Verdrehen geändert werden kann. Auf diese Weise lässt sich die Schwingungsfrequenz der pulsierenden Dusche regulieren.
