Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pull-out guide for drawers and the like.
  • Extendable furniture parts with a guide rail that can be attached to the supporting wall of a furniture body, designed as a profile rail, and a profiled guide rail that can be attached to the extendable furniture part, each of which has at least one on the profile leg of the guide rail, which is rotatably mounted on the front end in the pull-out direction and the rear end of the guide rail other rail-running roller are displaceable relative to each other,
  • the guide rail being designed as a cross-sectionally U-shaped profile rail attached with its web surface to the support wall, the profile leg of the web surface formed by the U-legs forming the running rail rollers in the transverse direction protrude and grip around on the side facing away from the supporting wall, and also the profile leg forming the running track of the running rail projects beyond the guide rail rollers with its free edge facing away from the pull-out furniture part and somewhat embraces.
  • Pull-out guides which are each provided with a roller at one end of the guide rail and the running rail, and are therefore also referred to as "roller pull-outs", have been used in pairs on opposite sides of drawers, pull-out worktops, equipment carriers and the like. introduced due to the lower pull-out force required compared to sliding guides.
  • roller pull-outs have been used in pairs on opposite sides of drawers, pull-out worktops, equipment carriers and the like. introduced due to the lower pull-out force required compared to sliding guides.
  • a drawer that is pulled out has a play in the transverse direction due to the then small distance between the rollers of the guide rail and the running rail, which can be considerable.
  • a linkage of drawers with two different pull-out guides on the opposite sides of the drawers is known, namely the profile legs of the rails of a pull-out guide assigned to the rollers are designed such that they still grip around the rollers, so that the lateral displacement the roles on the associated profile legs is reduced.
  • the width tolerance of the drawers or the clear internal spacing of the furniture support walls is then essentially effective on the opposite pull-out guide, in which the profile arms encompassing the rollers are not used.
  • the transverse play is not completely eliminated by the profile legs encompassing the rollers because, in order to ensure that the rollers run smoothly and uninhibitedly, the width of the profile legs must be dimensioned with a certain excess and the profile legs themselves are also not rectangular and sharp-edged from the web surfaces of the guide or track are folded. Between the web surfaces of the rails and the facing flat side of the roller on the other rail, therefore, there is a - deliberately provided - space for the heads of fastening screws with which the rail on the support wall or - in some cases - also on the drawer side wall is attached. In addition, this gap is then also required for the edge of the profile leg of the respective other rail encompassing the respective role. When fully pulled out, drawers mounted with such pull-out guides are therefore unstable, also because of the short roller spacing mentioned.
  • protruding projections in the form of beads are arranged parallel to the profile legs. They are intended to reduce the transverse play by preventing the rollers from approaching the web surface of the rails.
  • the pull-out guides based on this model are therefore unstable when the drawer is fully pulled out in the area of the drawer cover.
  • Another pull-out guide has become known from GB-A-2140282.
  • lateral displacements of the drawer transversely to the pull-out direction are eliminated in that the rollers are each provided on their end faces with conical surfaces which run in corresponding V-shaped guideways.
  • the width tolerance of the drawer or the clear internal clearance of the furniture support walls can then no longer be effective between the roller and the guideway. It is compensated for by a flexible attachment of a mounting rail to a mounting wall.
  • the invention has for its object a pull-out guide for drawers and the like. to create, which significantly reduces the existing cross play when fully pulled out, without impairing the smooth running of the pull-out guide.
  • this object is achieved according to the invention in that the clear width measured between the web surface and the edge encompassing the running rail roller at least one of the, preferably both, profile legs of the guide rail in the position when the fully extended position is approached the area run over by the roller track gradually decreases from the inside of the body towards the fully extended position.
  • pull-out guide designed in the manner according to the invention is only to be provided on one side of a drawer or another pull-out part, while the second pull-out guide in the usual way, i.e. is designed without profile legs encompassing the rollers.
  • At least one flat elevation which occurs to the roller is provided, that is to say the elevation between the running rail roller and the web surface of the guide rail normally existing space bridged in the fully extended position.
  • the configuration is preferably such that two elevations are provided in the form of low rib projections which are offset in height with a parallel spacing from one another and are pre-embossed from the material of the web surface of the guide rail and which provide the space between the web surface and the facing flat side of the running rail roller in the bridge the fully extended position, ie rest on the flat side of the roll facing the guide rail.
  • the rib projections are expediently arranged at such a height that they face the flat side of the roller at a distance above or below the central roller axis of the roller track roller.
  • the areas of engagement of the rib projections on the roller track roller are thus limited - analogously to the edges of the profile legs encompassing the roller on the opposite side - on their upper and lower sides. A possibly occurring central hub area or a bearing journal protruding over the flat side of the roller therefore does not collide with the rib projections.
  • the desired effect can also be improved in that the running rail in the area opposite the guide rail roller in the fully extended position is provided with a tab protruding from its lower edge region to the flat side of the guide rail roller facing the un between the running rail the existing flat side of the guide rail roller bridging existing space.
  • the tab can be punched out of the material of the running rail itself and bent into the position facing the guide rail roll, or it is a separately produced and in the intended position on the running rail - for example by spot welding, riveting or the like. - fastened part.
  • a pull-out guide designated in its entirety with 10 is shown in cross-section, it being assumed that the pull-out guide 10 serves to guide a side wall 12 of a drawer on the associated support wall 14 of a cabinet.
  • another conventional pull-out guide which is arranged in mirror image, but is simplified compared to the pull-out guide shown, is to be considered.
  • the pull-out guide 10 has an elongated profiled running rail 16 (see also FIGS. 3 and 5) which can be fastened to the drawer side wall 12 and has two profile legs 20, 22 which are bent approximately at right angles from a vertical web surface 18 in opposite directions.
  • the running rail 16 is fastened to the drawer side wall 12 in such a way that the web surface 18 rests on the side surface facing the load-bearing wall and the lower profile leg 22 bears against the lower end edge of the drawer side wall 12, the running rail being fastened to the side wall 12 with fastening screws 24 , which are screwed through holes in the profile leg 22 into the front edge of the drawer side wall.
  • the roller 28 in turn rolls on raceways of the guide rail 32 (see also FIGS. 2 and 4), which has the shape of a U-shaped profile rail with two profile legs 36, 38 bent in the same direction approximately at right angles from a web surface 34, the web surface 34 with profile legs 36, 38 facing the drawer side wall 12 is screwed onto the supporting wall 14.
  • the distance between the mutually facing inner surfaces of the profile legs forming the raceways for the rollers 28 is approximately the same or only slightly larger than the diameter of the roller 28.
  • the roller 28 rolls - depending on the extended position of the drawer - on the inner surface of the lower or upper profile leg 36 or 38, these profile legs again along their free edges along a narrow free edge strip 40, 42 down or up are bent.
  • the free edge strips 40, 42 thus embrace the roller roller 28 on the top and bottom.
  • the profile legs 36, 38 are cut off at the outside of the cabinet or at the front in the pull-out direction of the guide rail 32 and the web surface 34 is enlarged to form a flat bearing plate 44 in which a bearing pin 46 protruding toward the side wall 12 of the drawer is riveted, on which the second roller 48 mentioned above is riveted is rotatably mounted, on the circumferential surface of the track formed by the underside of the profile leg 20 of the track 16 rolls.
  • the end of the guide rail 32 located on the right in FIGS. 2 and 4 is closed by a vertical tab 50, which is folded forward from the web surface 34 between the profile legs 36, 38, against the exit of the roller roller 28.
  • the circumferential surface of the guide rail roller 28 thus runs on the raceways of the guide rail 32 formed by the mutually facing inner surfaces of the profile legs 36, 38, and the circumferential surface of the guide rail roller 48 runs on the downward-facing surface of the profile leg 20 Raceway of the track 16, the bent narrow edge strips 40, 42 around the roller 28 on the top and bottom and the bent edge strip 30 engages around the roller 48 on the top, so that the mounted guide and guide rail perpendicular to the direction of extension only a certain amount , have relatively little play, but are not separable from each other in this transverse direction.
  • the clear width measured between the bent edge strips 40, 42 of the profile legs 36, 38 and the web surface 34 of the guide rail 32 is in the end region - on the left in FIGS. 2 and 4 - in which the running rail roller 28 approaches the fully extended position occurs, compared to the normal clear width provided over the remaining length of the guide rail, so that the profile legs in this end region reduce their width in the plan view in the manner shown in FIG. 4.
  • the transverse play prevailing between the running rail roller 28 and the folded edge strips 40, 42 is also increasingly reduced when the fully extended end position is approached.
  • the running rail 16 is provided in the region opposite the guide rail roller 48 in the fully extended position with a tab 54 which protrudes from the lower edge region of its web surface 18 and which defines the space between the web surface 18 and the flat side of the guide rail roller 48 facing it bridged and comes into contact with the roller 48 in the lower peripheral region.
  • the flap 54 is stamped out of the material of the running rail 16 itself and bent into the position that occurs in relation to the guide rail roll.
  • the material of the flap 54 comes from the region of the cutout 56 in the lower profile leg 22 of the running rail 16, which can be seen in FIG. 5.
  • the flap can of course also consist of a separately produced sheet metal part, for example by spot welding on the profile leg 22.
