Claims (6)

1. Rabot à main, avec un outil de rabotage de forme essentiellement cylindrique à base circulaire, qui est disposé dans le boîtier du rabot, qui est fixé sur un arbre porte-outil motorisé et s'étendant perpendiculairement au sens de rabotage, et qui présente une face d'attaque tournée librement vers l'extérieur sur le côté correspondant du boîtier, et recou- verte par un capot pivotant qui est disposé sur le boîtier et qui peut pivoter vers le haut, caractérisé en ce que le capot pivotant (26), à l'état pivoté vers le haut, peut être déplacé axialement vers le milieu du boîtier au moins de la mesure dont il dépasse au-dessus de la face latérale (25) du boîtier.
2. Rabot à main selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'un arbre de pivotement (50), relié au capot pivotant (26), est monté rotatif dans un alésage (51) du boîtier, et est disposé axialement déplaçable.
3. Rabot à main selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le capot pivotant (26) peut être déplacé à l'encontre de la force d'un ressort (52), et peut être bloqué à la position intérieure.
4. Rabot à main selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu un ressort de rappel (56) maintenant le capot pivotant (26) contre une butée de pivotement.
5. Rabot à main selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que le capot pivotant (26) ou l'arbre de pivotement (50) est relié à un levier de pivotement (43) partant radialement en saillie, qui sert à la réalisation du mouvement de pivotement et/ou du mouvement axial.
6. Rabot à main selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que le levier de pivotement (43) est disposé dans la région d'une poignée avant (44) prévue sur le boîtier (10), de sorte qu'une main saisissant la poignée (44) peut actionner par un doigt le levier de pivotement (43).
