Definitions

  • the invention relates to a foot part for a cords, in particular pulling and / or tensioning cords, the side guide of a gatherable protection device, in particular for a blind with a raised and lowered lower bar, which the shielding device at one edge, e.g. at the lower edge, and which is guided along two profiles arranged to the side, which also have longitudinal channels for the cords running through them, e.g. Tension cords and / or pull cords have.
  • a foot part is known for slatted blinds that are on the inside of e.g. inclined roof window can be attached.
  • the assembly of these known blinds is labor-intensive and complicated, and threading and fixing the cords necessary for the operation is not only associated with a high amount of work, but also requires considerable skill.
  • the manufacture of such foot parts is complex and expensive.
  • a folding blind is known from EP-A 0 015 043, in which a lower bar that can be raised and lowered is guided along side guides. Such a blind is also particularly suitable for windows that have an inclined position or can assume them, as well as for windows that are exposed to constant movements, such as e.g. in vehicles. With this blind, the lower bar is operated directly for lifting and lowering and there are therefore no pull cords. Tension cords are provided for guiding and holding the lower bar in the various positions up to the fully lowered dimming device. These tension cords run through the laterally arranged guide profiles and cause enough friction when moving the bottom bar to prevent automatic lowering with certainty.
  • the blend material is additionally supported by the tensioned cords.
  • tensioned cords Such a blind can only be used to a limited extent, since roof windows are sometimes arranged outside of a location that can be reached by hand. It would therefore be advantageous if actuating cords such as pull cords were also arranged.
  • the object of the invention is to improve a foot part of the type mentioned in such a way that manufacture and assembly are simple and the pulling-in and fastening of the cords can be carried out as simply as possible and without manual skill, the foot part being suitable for several areas of application.
  • the foot part has at least a first passage and parallel to it a second and third passage which penetrate the foot part from top to bottom, the second and third having sliding surfaces for cords on mutually facing sides.
  • Such lower foot parts as the end of the lateral profiles allow simple assembly and easy handling of the cords in question during the construction and fastening of a protective device produced therewith. Other cords can then be easily picked up and attached. It is particularly advantageous if the first passage is separated from the second and third passage by an upstanding part of the foot part. This can e.g. tangling of the pull and tension cords used at the same time can be avoided with certainty.
  • Additional cords can then be easily picked up and fastened when the second and third passageways are connected by a transverse groove having the width of the cords in question.
  • the device has a base plate with open slots on opposite sides of the plate side for receiving cords. This also allows the cords to be simply attached. It is particularly advantageous if one slot opens into the narrow side and another slot opens into the wide side of the base plate.
  • lacing grooves are formed in the underside of the base plate, which connect the slots and the centrally arranged first passage. It is also advantageous if the second and third passageways are connected to one another by a transverse groove having approximately the width of the cords in question.
  • top of the foot part has one or more projections suitable for jamming in several positions in the side profile and additionally has at least one removable stop, in the position of which the foot part base plate is opposite the lateral profile has a non-rectangular position and when it is removed it has a rectangular position.
  • a cover plate is arranged on the front, from which the lower edge may protrude below the base plate.
  • a secure hold in the side profile with the simplest fastening is created in that the foot part on the top of the base plate has one or more projections which extend for fastening into the side profile, of which at least the front outside towards the rear outside under one Angled at an angle of less than 90 ° to the base plate, and that the distance of the outer sides from one another close to or at the point of transition to the base plate corresponds to the internal dimension of the side profile.
  • the protective device can be a slatted blind, a folding blind, a folding curtain or a roller blind.
  • a folding blind which can be used e.g. differs from a slatted blind in that no additional turning device is arranged for the slats.
  • the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures is a slatted blind which can preferably be fastened on the inside of inclined, in particular also tiltable, roof windows.
  • This has a horizontal head rail 1, of which e.g. a foldable fabric or paper web 3 depends down.
  • a longitudinal shaft not shown, which can be rotated in order to turn the slats 3 through the brackets.
  • both sides of the head rails 1 are inserted into these upper corner parts 4 with their projections 5 (FIG. 4), which enable a connection between the head rail 1 and side profiles 6.
  • the side profiles 6 are fastened below the corner parts 4 and run downwards along both sides of the window, so that in the case of an oblique roof window the profiles 6 are arranged obliquely in the same way parallel to the window bars.
  • Both side profiles 6 each form a channel 6a through which the cords 7 can run (FIG. 2). These channels are open to the front over their entire length.
  • a foot part 8 with upper projections 9 is inserted into the longitudinal channels 6a. These projections 9 thus run parallel to the longitudinal direction of the profiles 6.
  • the foot part 8 has a lower plate 10 which is penetrated in the central region by a first passage 11 parallel to the longitudinal direction. The passage 11 thus connects the top of the foot part 8 with the bottom.
  • Two tension cords 7a can be inserted into the passage 11 and are connected to one another at their lower ends, so that they form a loop 7a '.
  • This loop 7a ' is expanded after being pushed through on the underside of the foot part 8, lifted up and placed over the plate 10.
  • the rectangular plate 10 has two lateral slots 12, 13 on the narrow sides.
  • the areas of the loop 7a 'which bear against the underside of the plate 10 lie there in grooves 14 (FIG. 2) which connect the slots 12, 13 to the passage 11.
  • This groove 14 has a width and depth which are adapted to the diameter of the tension cords 7a.
  • a plate 15 is formed on the foot part 8 on the front, which forms an extension of a side wall of the profile 6 for covering.
  • Inner knock-out stops 16 on the plate 15 abut the profile 6 and enable an inclined position with slanted window sides. After the stops 16 have been removed by breaking off, the foot part 8 can be inserted into the profile 6 at right angles.
  • the foot part 8 also has two further passageways 17, 18, which run parallel to the passageway 11 from the top of the foot part 8 to its underside and are connected to one another on the underside by a transverse groove 19.
  • the transverse groove 19 is adapted in its dimensions in the same way as the groove 14 to the dimensions of the cords 7, so that a pull cord 7b led through the second passage 17 to the underside of the foot part 8 via the third passage 18 again upwards into the lateral profile 6 can be inserted and the lowermost region of this pull cord 7b lies longitudinally movable in the transverse groove 19.
  • the plate 10 also has a central bore 21 through which a screw can be inserted in order to be able to fasten the foot part to a frame part of the window.
