Definitions

  • the invention relates to a web made of nonwoven, film, paper, fiber material or the like, which can be removed through an opening braking the opening and is preferably soaked in a container and is divided into individual sections by perforations. the connecting webs remaining in the area of the perforation being arranged offset with respect to the longitudinal direction of the web.
  • the web is formed in one layer and, as such, rolled into a roll, inserted into the container.
  • the web is pulled out of the container through the removal opening in such a way that, starting from the center of the winding, the web is pulled through the removal opening, the pulled-out section being torn off automatically by the part of the web remaining in the container due to the braking effect of the removal opening.
  • the web comes in a bundled form through the removal opening, with a perforated part of the web mostly lying more or less by chance on an imperforate part.
  • the perforation may come to the dispensing opening in such a way that the perforated parts are not or only slightly overlapped by non-perforated parts.
  • the sections are then torn off, in which, if at all, only a very small part of the next section protrudes from the removal opening, so that it is very difficult to grasp the part protruding through the removal opening. Due to manufacturing tolerances, it can also happen that the next section does not tear off when pulled out, and it is up to the skill of the user how far the next section is pulled out.
  • the perforations run exactly transverse to the longitudinal direction of the web, the perforations of the folded web parts lie one above the other, so that, in particular in the embodiment according to DE-A 2 437 108, the entire perforation reaches the dispensing opening at the same time, as a result of which the tearing off occurs solely through the degree of weakening of the web can be controlled by the perforation.
  • the degree of weakening is, however, almost not repeatable, especially since the tear behavior is also influenced by the fiber layer of the fleece.
  • the fibers run predominantly in the longitudinal direction, for example, there will be a greater degree of cohesion between the sections in the connecting webs than in webs in which the fibers predominantly run transversely to the longitudinal direction, since a smaller number of fibers bridges the perforation in the region of the connecting webs. Since the fibers are distributed randomly in the course of the web according to the probability of randomness, the holding force varies considerably between the connected sections. Controlled tearing is therefore not possible.
  • the invention has for its object to form a web of the type mentioned in such a way that the protrusion over the removal opening is always large enough to enable easy detection of the protrusion on the one hand without a too large piece of the next section from the other
  • the removal opening protrudes, which, as already mentioned, impairs the closure of the container, whereby manufacturing tolerances of the web thickness, the perforation, the material strength and the container opening are to be compensated to a certain extent.
  • this object is achieved in that, in a manner known per se, the entire web is folded into the container at least once in its longitudinal direction. Due to the interaction of the oblique course of the perforation with the longitudinal fold of the web, the perforations of one part of the web always lie opposite a perforation-free part of the adjacent other web part, which rules out that all connecting webs pass through the removal opening at the same time.
  • the weakening of the web achieved by the perforation is partially bridged by the abovementioned frictional engagement, so that the next one is carried along Section takes place until almost the entire perforation has passed through the removal opening is, whereby a frictional engagement can only be effective in a small area. Only then does the section tear off from the part of the web remaining in the container. It has been shown that the time of tearing off can be controlled very precisely, etc. such that only the desired projection of the next section, that is preferably about 5 to 25 mm, is achieved. This is done regardless of the intensity of the braking effect of the removal opening, and largely independent of the angle at which the perforation passes through the removal opening.
  • FIG. 1 shows schematically three variants of the perforation arrangement of the web according to the invention.
  • 2 is a plan view of a container filled with the web according to the invention.
  • Fig. 3 shows a section along line III-III of Fig. 2 again.
  • Fig. 4 illustrates a section along line IV-IV of Fig. 3.
  • the thickness of the web is shown greatly exaggerated.
  • 5 schematically shows the course of the cut when the web is folded twice in the longitudinal direction.
  • the cuts 3 of the perforation 2 are arranged in a zigzag line running transversely to the longitudinal direction of the web 1, the webs 4 are left in the area of the tips of the zigzag line.
  • the web 1 is at least once in its longitudinal direction folded, etc. advantageously along the dash-dotted lines X and Y of FIG. 1, as a result of which the perforations 2 then have the courses shown in FIGS. 5a to 5c.
  • the container 5 is then zigzag folded into a container 5 (see FIGS. 3 and 4) and the upper end is inserted through the removal opening 6.
  • This removal opening 6 is formed by a cross slot (see FIG. 2), the lugs remaining between the cross slot braking the pulling out of the web 1.
  • the container 5 can be closed tightly by means of a snap lid 7.
