Abstract

Der flanschförmige Deckelrand (5) eines Verpackungsbehälters (1) ist einschliesslich eines an ihm angeformten, nach aussen abstehenden Griffteiles (6) seitlich durch einen umlaufenden Randteil (4) eingeschlossen, so dass er zum Oeffnen des Verpackungsbehälters (1) nicht zugänglich ist. Die Betätigung des Griffteiles (6) führt zur Abtrennung eines den Griffteil (6) unterfassenden Randfortsatzes (8) des Behälterrumpfes (2), mit dem der Griffteil (6) durch eine Druckknopfverbindung (11,12) unlösbar verbunden ist. Die dichtende Befestigung des Deckels (7) am Behälterrumpf (2) erfolgt durch miteinander verrastete Eingriffswulste (14, 15). Der Verpackungsbehälter (1) vermeidet eine Heissiegelverbindung als Garantieverschluss und ist aus rückstandslos verbrennbarem Kunststoff herstellbar.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verpackungsbehälter mit einem Behälterrumpf und einem durch verrastende Befestigungsmittel mit dem Oeffnungsrand verbundenen Deckel, an dessen Rand an einer Stelle ein nach aussen abstehender Griffteil angeformt ist.
  • Ein im Handel in zahlreichen Exemplaren anzutreffender Ver­packungsbehälter dieser Art hat den Nachteil, dass an ihm nicht erkennbar ist, ob er bereits geöffnet worden ist. Es sind deshalb auch Verpackungsbehälter aus Kunststoff bekannt, bei denen der Deckel durch einen Heissiegellack am Behälter­rumpf befestigt ist, wobei die Heissiegelverbindung beim Oeffnen einen Solltrennbereich bildet. Die Verwendung einer derartigen Heissiegelverbindung erfordert jedoch die Her­stellung des Behälters aus einem verhältnismässig thermosta­bilen Kunststoffmaterial, d.h. von PVC, das jedoch eine un­erwünschte Belastung von Abfallverbrennungsanlagen zur Folge hat. Ausserdem hinterlässt die Heissiegelverbindung nach dem Oeffnen des Behälters einen unsauberen Oeffnungsrand. Auch ist es aufwendig, an einer Heissiegelverbindung eine definier­te Undichtigkeitsstelle für die Entlüftung des Behälters vorzusehen, wie es für bestimmte zu verpackende Materialien, z.B. Hüttenkäse, erforderlich ist.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Verpackungs­behälter der genannten Art zu finden, der beim Oeffnen die Zerstörung einer Solltrennstelle erforderlich macht, und der ausserdem aus einem rückstandslos verbrennbaren Kunststoff­material auf einfache Weise herstellbar ist. Dabei soll er auch auf einfache Weise die Anbringung einer Entlüftungs­stelle am Oeffnungsrand ermöglichen. Zur Lösung dieser Auf­gabe wird ein Verpackungsbehälter der eingangs genannten er­findungsgemäss so ausgebildet, dass der Deckelrand von einem Randteil des Behälterrumpfes seitlich umfasst ist, und dass der Griffteil des Deckels an einem Randfortsatz des Behäl­terrumpfes unlösbar befestigt ist, der über eine Sollbruch­stelle mit dem Behälterrumpf verbunden ist.
  • Die unlösbare Verbindung zwischen dem Griffteil und dem ge­nannten Randfortsatz kann ähnlich einer Nietverbindung, bzw. druckknopfartig, ausgeführt sein, so dass eher die Soll­bruchstelle als diese Verbindung beim Oeffnen zerstört wird.
  • Für eine gute Abdichtung entlang eines verrastenden Oeff­nungsrandes, besteht der Deckel vorzugsweise aus einem här­teren Kunststoffmaterial, z,B. Polystyrol, an das sich ein weicheres Kunststoffmaterial, z.B. Polypropylen, des Behäl­terrumpfes dichtend anschmiegt.
  • Für einen raumsparenden Transport des Behälterrumpfes sowie des Deckels zum Abfüllort, ist vorzugsweise mindestens der Behälterrumpf so ausgeführt, z.B. konisch, dass ein Inein­anderstapeln möglich ist.
  • Im folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand der Zeichnungen wei­ter erläutert. Es zeigt:

  • Der dargestellte Verpackungsbehälter 1 ist beispielsweise für Hüttenkäse vorgesehen und hat in Aufsicht eine ange­nähert quadratische Form mit abgerundeten Eckbereichen, so dass gleiche Behälter raumsparend neben- und übereinander in einem grösseren Transportbehälter mit standartisierten Abmessungen Platz finden. Der Behälterrumpf 2 hat für seine Ineinanderstapelung mit anderen, vor seiner Füllung, leicht nach oben auseinanderlaufende Seitenwände. Sein Oeffnungs­rand hat einen nach aussen abstehenden, umlaufenden Flansch 3, dessen äusserer Randteil 4 vom Behälterrumpf weg im rech ten Winkel nach oben gerichtet ist, um den ebenfalls als Flansch geformten Deckelrand 5 seitlich zu umfassen, wie am besten aus Fig.4 ersichtlich ist. Auf diese Weise ist der Deckelrand 5 gegen einen leichten Zugriff und Oeffnen des Verpackungsbehälters 1 geschützt. Dieser äussere Rand­teil kann entsprechend dem Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 1 bis 4 auch einen an einem der Eckbereiche des Verpackungs­behälters 1 vorgesehenen Griffteil 6 des Deckels 7 umschlie­ssen, der sich von dem Flansch 3 des Behälterrumpfes 2 weg erstreckt. Hierfür erweitert sich der Flansch 3 an der ent­sprechenden Umfangsstelle zu einem Randfortsatz 8, der den Griffteil 6 unterfasst. Fig.5 und 6 zeigen hingegen ein Aus­führungsbeispiel der Erfindung, bei dem der äussere Randteil 4ʹ in Abstand von dem Griffteil 6ʹ endet. Ausserdem zeigt die Fig. 6, dass ein erfindungsgemässer Verpackungsbehälter verschiedene Querschnittsformen aufweisen kann.
  • Zwischen dem Randfortsatz 8 und dem Behälterflansch 3 befin­dewt sich eine Sollbruchlinie 9, die z.B. durch eine im Querschnitt v-förmige Rille gebildet ist. Eine Betätigung des Griffteiles 6 des deckels 7 zum Oeffnen des Verpackungsbehäl­ ters 1 führt durch die feste Verbindung zwischen dem Rand­fortsatz 8 und dem Griffteil 6 zwangsläufig zum Bruch ent lang der Solltrennlinie 9, so dass ein Garantieverschluss des Behälters 1 gegeben ist.
  • Im dargestellten Beispiel besteht die feste Verbindung zwi­schen dem Griffteil 6 und dem Randfortsatz 8 aus einer un­lösbaren Druckknopfverbindung, indem ein an der Unterseite des Griffteiles 6 angeformter, einen Randwulst 10 aufwei­sender Hohlzapfen 11 durch ein Loch 12 des Randfortsatzes gepresst ist. Diese Verbindung lässt sich besonders leicht herstellen, wenn der Deckel 7 mit seinem Griffteil 6 und diesem Hohlzapfen 11 aus einem härteren Kunststoffmaterial bestehen als der Behälterrumpf 2 und der an ihm angeformte Randfortsatz 8, bzw. wenn letztere aus einem relativ wei­chen Kunststoffmaterial, wie z.B. Polypropylen, ausgebildet sind.
  • Die genannte Materialkombination ist auch von Vorteil für eine dichte Verbindung an dem umlaufenden Eingriffsrand 13 zwischen den ineinander verrasteten Eingriffswulsten 14, 15 des Deckels 7 und des inneren Oeffnungsrandes.
  • Im unteren Teil hat der Deckel 7 einen nach innen abgesetz­ten Teil 16, der beim Stapeln der Behälterdeckel 7 in den oberen Teil des jeweiligen Deckels 7 eingreift.
  • Für die Entlüftung des Behälterinnenraumes ist an einer Stelle eines der Eingriffswulste 14, 15 der verrastenden Deckelabdichtung bzw. Deckelbefestigung eine nutförmige kurze Wulstunterbrechung 18 vorgesehen. Durch den an einem bestimmten Eckbereich vorgesehenen Griffteil 6 hat die Wulstunterbrechung 18, bzw. die Entlüftungsstelle, eine de­finierte Zuordnung, so dass diese beim gekippten Lagern des Verpackungsbehälters 1, mit vertikal angeordneter Deckel ebene, oben angeordnet werden kann, um den Austritt von ver­packtem Material an dieser Wulstunterbrechung 18 zu vermei­den. Eine solche Anordnung des Verpackungsbehälters 1 ist vorteilhaft, um den als Verzierungs- und Schriftträger die­nenden Deckel 7 gut sichtbar zu positionieren.

Claims (10)

1. Verpackungsbehälter mit einem Behälterrumpf (2) und einem durch verrastende Befestigungsmittel (14,15) mit dem Oeffnungsrand verbundenen Deckel (7), an dessen Rand (5) an einer Stelle ein nach aussen abstehender Griffteil (6) an­geformt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckelrand (5) von einem Randteil (4) des Behälterrumpfes (2) seitlich um­fasst ist, und dass der Griffteil (6) des Deckels (7) an einem Randfortsatz (8) des Behälterrumpfes (2) unlösbar be­festigt ist, der über eine Sollbruchstelle (9) mit dem Be­hälterrumpf (2) verbunden ist.
2. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Griffteil (6) mit dem Randfortsatz (8) durch einen in ein Loch (12) eingepressten Zapfen (11) unlösbar verbunden ist.
3. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekenn­zeichnet, dass der Zapfen (11) ein Hohlzapfen mit einem Randwulst (10) ist, der an der Unterseite des Griffteiles (6) angeformt ist.
4. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekenn­zeichnet, dass die verrastenden Befestigungsmittel aus um­laufenden Eingriffswulsten (14,15) bestehen, die am Deckel (7) und dem inneren Oeffnungsrand des Behälterrumpfes (2) vorgesehen sind.
5. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekenn­zeichnet, dass an mindestens einem der Eingriffswulste (14, 15) mindestens eine eine Behälterentlüftung bildende Wulst­unterbrechung (18) vorgesehen ist.
6. Verpackungsbehälter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (7) aus einem här­ teren Kunststoffmaterial besteht als der Behälterrumpf (2).
7. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekenn­zeichnet, dass der Deckel (7) aus Polystyrol und der Be­hälterrumpf (2) aus Polypropylen besteht.
8. Verpackungsbehälter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der umlaufende Randteil (4) über den Deckelrand (5) übersteht.
9. Verpackungsbehälter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (7) und der Behäl­terrumpf (2) ineinanderstapelbar ausgeführt sind.
10. Verpackungsbehälter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Randteil (4) entlang des gesamten Behälterumfanges verläuft, so dass er auch den Griffteil (6) umfasst.
