- the pressure regulator 34 (FIG. 9) simply comprises a non-return valve and a pressure relief valve; when the maximum pressure is reached, the pressure relief valve 44 opens and returns to the reservoir 41, via the pipe 40, the liquid delivered by the pump 43. The journeys made by the wagon being relatively short, the hydraulic liquid has no time to heat up excessively.
