Claims (5)

  1. A container of the type comprising two pivoting parts, such as a body (1) having a bottom (22) for a product (A) and a cover (2) which are joined to each other by a joint and which form an integral part with a yoke (3) and a hinge pin (8) respectively, being intended to engage with each other in order to create a pivoting assembly held in position by an element (11) added over said assembly, characterised in that the contours of the outer edges (1a and 2a) of the two pivoting parts (1 and 2) are continuous and in that the add-on element (11), which is annular in form, surrounds a central opening and is provided with at least one notch (20-21) which opens into the central opening of said element (11) in order to allow the radial movement of arms (9 and 10) forming an integral part with the hinge pin (8) and the cover (2) being fixed to said cover (2) at a substantial distance (x) from its outer edge (2a).
  2. A container according to claim 1, characterised in that the inner notch (20-21), or each inner notch (20 and 21), extends from the lower inner edge of the add-on element (11) to just short of its outer edge (11a).
  3. A container according to claim 1, characterised in that the zone (2b) of the cover (2) located between the outer edge (2a) and the arms (9 and 10) is located perpendicular to the notch or the notches (20-21) of the add-on element (11) when said cover (2) is in the closed position.
  4. A container according to claim 1, characterised in that the arms (9 and 10) are curved.
  5. A container according to claim 1, characterised in that the add-on element (11) is provided with a slot (20-21) for each arm (9-10).
