The present invention relates to makeup accessories and, more specifically, a device for making up the eyes.
We know, by German patent application 2,203,982, a device for making up the eye, comprising a cavity reflective constituted by upper plane mirrors and lower between which is placed a central plane mirror constituting the bottom of the reflecting cavity.
The plane of each upper or lower mirror forms, with the central mirror, an angle slightly greater than 90 °, so that the user, looking at one of the upper or lower mirror, can obtain, after successive reflections in the three mirrors, an image from above or below his eye.
A similar device is described in the US patent 3,737,216, the angle formed between the planes of two adjacent mirrors being fixed at 110 °.
Known devices are not entirely satisfactory because it is necessary to obtain an image from above or from below the eye to be placed at a relatively great distance from the device, which makes it difficult to perceive details, especially by a myopic user.
The object of the invention is to facilitate makeup of the eye and to make it possible to perform high-precision makeup by a person applying make-up.

la figure 1.In the folded down position of the
The pivoting links connecting the
There is shown in Figure 3 an embodiment
a rotary end stop for the
This stop may be constituted by a
Similarly, the stop serving to stop the pivoting towards the rear of the
Of course, other end stop means can be used running in rotation without departing from the scope of the invention.
Preferably, the pivotings of the

crans. As a variant, it can be provided that maintaining the
le miroir central 4.Advantageously, as shown in FIG. 2, the

The
The dimensions of the mirrors are chosen so that allow the user to get close enough to the mirror look to benefit from the multiple reflections that give them desired eye images.
proches, voire identiques.Preferably, the dimensions of the
9 cm et pour largeur 6 cm.In the example described, the
The mirrors can be conventional mirrors produced by deposit of a metal on a transparent support made of glass or material plastic (the thickness of the glass preferably being between 0.5 and 5 mm and that of plastic between 0.1 and 5 mm). The mirrors can still be made up of metal sheets (thickness between 0.05 and 2 mm), be made by depositing hot of a reflective film on a support (then produced in plastic) or by adding a metallized plastic film.
les plans des miroirs inférieur 6 et supérieur 5 est alors égal à 60°.We will now describe with reference to Figures 5 to 7 the use of the device which has just been described. We indicated by a the angle between the plane of the
illustré sur la figure 5.To obtain an image from above his eye, the user
holds the
It will be noted in this figure, that the presence of the mirror central is not necessary to obtain an inverted image of the above the eye.
regarde le miroir central 4, comme illustré sur la figure 6.To obtain a front image of his eye, the user
look at the
Note that to get a front image of his eye, after examining the top of their eye, the user only has to change the direction of his gaze and does not have to change significantly the position of his head relative to the device.
face ou le dessus de celui-ci.To obtain an image of the underside of his eye, the user
observe the
Note that to obtain an inverted image of the bottom
with the eye, the
miroirs inférieur 6 et supérieur 5.The
It is possible thanks to the invention to get closer upper 5 and lower 6 mirrors to obtain the image of the below or above the eye as in art devices and get a larger, more detailed picture.
In addition, the larger opening of the cavity allows to get a brighter image of the eye.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the example of realization which has just been described.
simple volet pivotant. In particular, without departing from the scope of the invention, it is possible to fix
We can also bring a magnifying glass to a mirror.
3 une loupe 15 rapportée sur le miroir inférieur 6.By way of example, there is a dotted line in the figure
