Abstract

The powder compact consists of a box (1) and a lid (2) articulated around an axle (3). The base of the box (1a) has a guide (4) in which a rod (5) slides. One extremity of this on the outside of the box, is shaped like a push button (6) and has a front surface (7) on which a foot (8) joined to the lid rests. The other extremity of the rod is bent upwards (9) to the top of the box with a lateral spur (10) on its upper edge. This fits into a corresponding hollow in a part (11) projecting from the internal surface (2a) o fthe lid to fasten the compact.
