Claims (10)

1. Manipulator for the automatic feeding of machines for centrifuging yarn reels, designed to arrange on the stage (10), of the rotary basket (5) of the particular machine (2) each of the reels to be centrifuged (A, A'), delivered in succession to the latter, and to remove each reel from the said stage after centrifuging, of the type comprising a carriage driven an alternating horizontal movement which causes it to pass from a retracted take-up position to an advanced position located above the stage (10), characterized in that the carriage (13) is equipped, on the one hand, with a handling mechanism (20-23) capable, in the retracted position, of taking up a reel (A, A') delivered from the rear and, on the other hand, with an articulated flap (24) suitable for forming a pusher for the centrifuged reels, when it is directed vertically, and for closing off the upper orifice of the basket, when it is lowered into a horizontal position at the time of centrifuging.
2. Manipulator according to Claim 1, characterized in that the mechanism for handling the carriage (13) comprises, on the one hand, two stationary wings (20) forming stops for the wall of each of the reels (A, A') to be centrifuged and, on the other hand, two movable arms (23) controlled so as to move away from one another, in order to allow the reels to come to bear against the abovementioned wings, and so as subsequently to come nearer to one another, in order to grip each reel which is thereby made fixed relative to the carriage.
3. Manipulator according to Claim 2, characterized in that the wings (20) are carried by two parallel axles (18) associated with an adjusting device (19) which makes it possible to change the mutual positioning of the said wings.
4. Manipulator according to either one of Claims 2 and 3, characterized in that the arms (23) are carried by two parallel rods (21) associated with control means (22) which ensure their synchronized axial movement in opposite directions.
5. Manipulator according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the carriage (13) supports a jack (27) of vertical axis, the movable member of which is equipped with a pusher (28) capable of bearing against the upper part of the reel (A, A') in order to engage it forcibly with the movable stage (10) inside the basket (5).
6. Manipulator according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that associated with the carriage (13) is a conveyor belt (17) arranged underneath the latter, in order to deliver the reels to be centrifuged (A, A') to the handling mechanism (20-23) in succession.
7. Manipulator according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it comprises a receiving platform (29) which extends the table (26) arranged around the orifice of the drum (4) of the centrifuging machine (2), in order to collect the centrifuged reels (A, A') pushed away by the articulated flap (24).
8. Manipulator according to Claim 7, characterized in that the receiving platform (29) is carried by at least two jacks (30) intended for ensuring the adjustment of its height and inclination.
9. Manipulator according to either one of Claims 7 and 8, characterized in that the carriage (13) is equipped towards the front with a push frame (31) designed to push away the centrifuged reels (A, A') collected in succession on the platform (29), the said frame (31) being associated with control means (32) which ensure that it tilts upwards during the movement of the said carriage from the front to the rear.
10. Manipulator according to Claim 9, characterized in that the fore crossmember (31 a) of the push frame (31) is fixed to fingers (33) which extend vertically downwards.
