Claims (21)

1. Verfahren zum Verpacken einer Palettenladung (1, 2) in eine Hülle (3) aus wärmeschrumpffähiger Kunststoffolie, mit einem ersten Schritt, bei welchem die Palettenladung (1, 2) auf einen Auflagetisch (4) gebracht wird, mit einem zweiten Schritt, bei welchem die offene Hülle (3) um und über die Palettenladung (1, 2) gebracht wird, und mit einem dritten Schritt, bei dem die so über die Palettenladung (1, 2) gebrachte Hülle (3) zur Realisierung ihrer Wärmeschrumpfung erwärmt wird, und bei welchem Verfahren die sich in der Hülle (3) befindende Luft zumindest während eines Teil des dritten Erwärmungsschrittes abgesaugt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß vor dem Absaugen von Luft zwischen der Palettenladung (1, 2) und der Hülle (3) insbesondere in einem seitlichen Spalt (19) Luftabsaugmittel (20) angeordnet werden und daß die Luftabsaugmittel (20) nach dem Absaugen derart weggenommen werden, daß die im seitlichen Spalt befindende Luft im wesentlichen abgesaugt wird.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein vorangehender Schritt vorgesehen ist, während dem auf die Palette (2) und zwischen die Palette (2) und die Ladung (1) ein Stück der wärmeschrumpffähigen Kunststoffolie (9) gebracht wird, dessen Außenränder (21) über die Seitenflächen (13) der Palette (2) hängen, derart, daß durch das Absaugen von Luft die Hülle (3) über eine ausreichende Höhe an den herabhängenden Rändern (21) des Folienstücks (9) anliegt und daß durch das Erwärmen die Hülle (3) und die herabfallenden Ränder (21) des Folienstücks wärmegeschrumpft und miteinander verbunden werden.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Hülle (3) in aufeinanderfolgenden Zonen und von unten nach oben erwärmt wird, damit das Zurückweichen des freien Randes (16) der Hülle (3) vermieden wird.
4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Hülle (3) auf die Palettenladung (1, 2) derart gebracht wird, daß der freie untere Rand (16) der Hülle zumindest im wesentlichen in derselben unteren Höhe oder oberhalb der unteren Höhe der Palette (2) angeordnet ist.

Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Luftabsaugmittel (20) zwischen dem zweiten und dem dritten Schritt eingebracht werden und/oder die Luftabsaugung spätestens zu Beginn des dritten Erwärmungsschrittes und insbesondere zu Beginn oder ein wenig vor dem Beginn des dritten Erwärmungsschrittes beginnt und/oder die Luftabsaugung spätestens am Ende des dritten Erwärmungsschrittes und insbesondere am Ende oder etwas vor dem Ende des dritten Erwärmungsschrittes endet.
6. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Luft kontinuierlich oder diskontinuierlich abgesaugt wird, insbesondere bei einem ersten anfänglichen Abschnitt, um das Anbringen des herabhängenden unteren freien Endbereichs der Hülle (18) über die Palette (3) bzw. über die äußeren herabfallenden Ränder (21) des Folienstücks (9) sicherzustellen, und bei einem oder mehreren späteren Abschnitten, um die Bildung von Expansionsluft-Taschen zwischen der Palettenladung und der Hülle zu vermeiden.
7. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Luft konstant oder variabel abgesaugt wird, insbesondere nach und nach degressiv mit dem Fortschreiten des Erwärmungsschrittes.
8. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zum Anbringen der Luftabsaugmittel (20) zwischen die Palettenladung (1, 2) und die Hülle (3), insbesondere durch Absaugen, die Hülle (3), insbesondere ihr herabfallender unterer Endbereich (18) gegenüber der Palettenladung (1, 2) in Querrichtung wegbewegt wird, um dazwischen einen nach außen offenen Durchgang (22) vorzusehen, und daß die Luftabsaugmittel (20), insbesondere eine Ansaugdüse (23) von außen eindringen und dann im Durchgang längs verschoben werden kann.
9. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Luftabsaugmittel (20) an mehreren aneinanderstoßenden seitlichen Flächen und/oder der Palettenladung (1, 2) gegenüberliegend angebracht wird.
10. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß während der Luftabsaugung die Luftabsaugmittel (20), insbesondere die Luftansaugdüse (23) ortsfest oder beweglich, insbesondere verschiebbar sind, damit sie sich in der oder in der Nähe der Zone, in der die Luftabsaugung erwünscht ist, befinden.
11. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Luftabsaugmittel (20) unmittelbar oder nahezu unmittelbar nach dem Ende der Absaugung durch Verschieben im Durchgang (22) wegbewegt werden.
12. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1-11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß unmittelbar oder nahezu unmittelbar nach dem Entfernen der Luftabsaugmittel (20) die Hülle (3) seitlich in der Zone der Absaugmittel (20) erwärmt wird.

Vorrichtung zum Verpacken einer Palettenladung in eine Hülle aus wärmeschrumpffähiger Kunststoffolie, mit einem Auflagetisch (4) für die Palettenladung (1, 2), mit Mitteln zum Aufbringen der offenen Hülle (3) über und um die Palettenladung (1, 2), mit Mitteln (5) zum Erwärmen der so über die Palettenladung (1, 2) gebrachten Hülle (3), um deren Wärmeschrumpfung zu erreichen, und mit Luftabsaugmitteln (20), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Luftabsaugmittel (20) im wesentlichen außen am seitlichen Umfang und in der Nähe des Auflagetisches (4) derart angeordnet sind, daß sie sich zwischen der Ladung und der Hülle, nachdem diese um die Ladung gebracht worden ist, befinden.

Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Absaugmittel (20) einerseits Antriebsmittel (24), die an einer ortsfesten Stelle, insbesondere seitlich am Auflagetisch (4) angeordnet sind und andererseits eine Düse (23) bildende Mittel aufweisen, die insbesondere im wesentlichen durch Längsverschiebung zwischen einerseits einer aktiven Arbeitsposition, in der sie sich außen am seitlichen Umfang etwa oberhalb und in der Nähe des Auflagetisches, insbesondere zwischen der Palettenladung (1, 2) und der Hülle (3) befinden, damit im wesentlichen ein Absaugen der sich zwischen der Palettenladung (1) und der Hülle (3) befindenden Luft ermöglicht ist, und andererseits einer inaktiven Ruheposition, in der sie von der aktiven Arbeitsposition, insbesondere nach außerhalb des Auflagetisches (4) entfernt sind, bewegbar gehalten sind.

Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 13 oder 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mittel (5) zum Erwärmen durch einen horizontalen Rahmen gebildet sind, dessen Öffnung den Abmessungen der Palettenladug (1, 2) entspricht und der in vertikaler Richtung verschieblich gehalten und zur Verschiebung durch Antriebsmittel, wie bspw. angetriebene endlose Ketten bewegbar ist, und/oder daß die Mittel zum Aufbringen der Hülle Finger zum Ergreifen der Hülle (3), die vom horizontalen beweglichen Rahmen gehalten sind, besitzen, wobei die Vorrichtung zum Anbringen der Hülle und zum Erwärmen an einer einzigen Stelle ist.
16. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 13-15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Auflagetisch (4) in vertikaler Richtung und/oder vollständig und/oder unten fixiert ist.

Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 13-16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie Mittel zum Einbringen eines Folienstücks (9) aus wärmeschrumpffähigem Kunststoff auf die Palette (2) und zwischen die Palette (2) und die Ladung (1) aufweist, wobei diese Mittel vor den Mitteln zum Aufbringen der Hülle (3) über die Ladung (1) angeordnet sind.

Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 13-17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie Mittel (25) zum Ergreifen der Hülle (3), insbesondere durch Ansaugen, aufweist, die in Querrichtung beweglich sind, im Bereich der Düsenmittel (23) in eine aktive Arbeitsposition bringbar sind und mit denen zwischen der Palettenladung (1, 2) und der Hülle (3) ein Durchgang (22) erreichbar ist, der nach außen hin offen ist, um die Luftabsaugmittel (20) einzubringen.

Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 13-18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie Mittel (26) zum örtlichen Erwärmen der Hülle (3) aufweist, die im Bereich der Düsenmittel (23) in einer aktiven Arbeitsposition anbringbar sind und mit denen die Wärmeschrumpfung der Hülle (3) im Bereich der Düsenmittel (23) erreichbar ist.
20. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 13-19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Düsenmittel (23) eine im wesentlichen langgestreckte und abgeflachte Form aufweisen und/oder daß die Vorrichtung Düsenmittel (23) an mindestens zwei aneinandergrenzende Seiten und/oder dem Tisch (4) benachbart besitzt.

Verpackte Palettenladung (1, 2), mit einer Hülle (3) aus wärmeschrumpffähigem Kunststoffmaterial, die um die und über der Ladung angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie durch das Verfahren gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1-12 erreicht ist, daß sie zwischen der Palette (2) und der Ladung (1) ein Folienstück (9) aus wärmeschrumpffähigem Kunststoffmaterial besitzt, dessen äußere, über die Seitenflächen (13) der Palette (2) herabfallenden Ränder fest und dicht mit dem unteren, herabfallenden freien Endbereich (18) der Hülle (3) durch Wärmeschweißung verbunden sind, und/oder daß der untere freie Endbereich (18) und/oder die herabfallenden Ränder (21) an den seitlichen Flächen (13) der Palette (12), insbesondere ohne daß sie nach dem Schrumpfen sich bis unterhalb der Palette erstrecken, anliegen.
