Abstract

- and of a valve (12) the body of which is uniformly moulded with the main or trunk body portion (14) of the container (10), said valve permitting the user, in accordance with and dependence on his needs, to extrude through said orifice (22) a dosed amount of the product (P),
- said valve (12) comprising a valve needle or pin (19), said pin being movable within a calibrated bore (20) completely traversing the body (15) of the valve (12) with one of the extremities of the calibrated bore (20) providing the orifice (22) of the container (10), said valve further comprising a channel or duct (23) opening in said calibrated bore (20), a lever (24) connected with said valve needle or valve pin (19), a return spring for the valve needle or pin (19), sealing means (35) for preventing the product (P) from flowing between the valve pin (19) and the walls of the calibrated bore (20),
- the arrangement being such that, on the one hand, on actuating said lever (24) against the counteraction of said spring (33), the valve pin can be displaced between a first position wherein it closes said orifice (22) and a second position wherein said orifice (22) communicates, through said channel or duct (23), with the chamber containing said product (P), while on the other hand said valve needle or pin is automatically returned to its first position by said return spring (33) when said actuation is ceased, said lever (24) being constituted by an angular or toggle lever (29) the two arms (30,31) of which extend transversely and longitudinally, respec­tively, relatively to the main axis of the distributor apparatus, characterized in that
- said body (15) of the valve (12) comprises, at its side opposite or distal from said orifice (22), a cavity (25) into which opens the second extremity of said calibrated bore (29), on the one hand, while on the other hand said cavity entirely houses or accommodates said angular or toggle lever (29);
- and further characterized in that the transversely extending arm (30) of said lever (29) extends from its bend in a direction opposite from the valve pin or needle (19) and forms the portion of the lever (24) which is being actuated upon against said spring (33) for extruding the product, whereas the longitudinally extending arm (31) of said lever (29) extends downwardly from its bend, with its extremity forming the articulate joint (32,38) of the lever (24).
2. Distributor- and dosing apparatus in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that said articulate joint (32,38) is comprised of a pivot part or pin engaged with a corresponding mounting formed in the base wall of said cavity (25).
3. Distributor- and dosing apparatus in accordance with claim 2, characterized in that said pivot part or pin (32,38) and its mounting socket are unitarily moulded with the angular or toggle lever (29) and with the body (15), respectively, and are engaged with one another by elastic pressure.
4. Distributor- and dosing apparatus in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the connection between the valve pin or needle (19) and the angular or toggle lever (29) is provided at the bend area of said lever (29).
5. Distributor- and dosing apparatus in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the body (15) of valve (12) in plan view presents the shape of a ʹYʹ, said cavity (25) being limited by the interior walls of the legs (48,49) of said ʹYʹ.
6. Distributor- and dosing apparatus in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that said spring (33) is likewise housed or accommodated within said cavity (25) and exerts its action directly upon the angular or toggle lever (29).
7. Distributor- and dosing apparatus in accordance with claim 6, characterized in that said spring (33) exerts its action upon the transversely extending arm (30) of the lever (29).
8. Distributor- and dosing apparatus in accordance with claim 6, characterized in that said spring (33) exerts its action upon the longitudinally extending arm (31) of the lever (29).
9. Distributor- and dosing apparatus in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that said valve pin or needle (19) and said angular or toggle lever (29) are connected with one another by a flexible tongue (34).
10. Distributor- and dosing apparatus in accordance with claim 9, characterized in that said angular or toggle lever (29) and said tongue (34) form a unitary single-piece moulded part.
