Description

The invention relates to a motor bogie for a rail vehicle, with a bogie frame and at least two wheel sets, each coupled to a drive device, on which the bogie frame is supported in a spring-loaded manner via axle bearings which are movably guided in the longitudinal direction of the bogie, the drive devices each being provided with a housing, which is supported on the wheel set in question and is pivotally connected to the bogie frame about a substantially vertical axis by means of a linkage device suitable for the transmission of tensile and braking forces.

In a known motor bogie of the type mentioned, the drive devices are each pivotably articulated by a rigid, tiller-like connecting part pointing in the longitudinal direction on the bogie frame about an axis which is fixed in the longitudinal and transverse directions, and by a second, suitable in the opposite longitudinal direction, suitable for transmitting transverse forces Connecting part movably guided in the longitudinal direction (CH-PS 609 290). In order to achieve an approximately radial adjustment of the axles when driving through curves, an adjustment device is known from this patent, by means of which the axles each around the articulation point arranged on a carrier of the bogie frame of the drawbar-like connecting part transmitting the tensile and compressive forces can be pivoted.

The invention has for its object to provide a simplified drive bogie in a further development of the above-mentioned embodiment, in which the wheel sets each automatically when driving through curves, without any control or regulating effort, in particular without additional, actuating device to be operated, essentially radially for the curve to be traversed.

This object is achieved in a motor bogie of the type mentioned above in that the articulation device contains at least two arms arranged converging from the bogie frame essentially in the longitudinal direction of the bogie towards the wheel set in question, each on the one hand on a supporting part of the bogie frame and on the other hand on the respective one Housing of the drive device are articulated, the elongated longitudinal axes of each pair of handlebars assigned to the same housing, seen in plan view, essentially intersect at an intersection which lies in the area of arrangement of the wheel set and the housing.

The handlebar pairs arranged according to the invention each form a connection which is essentially rigid in the longitudinal direction between the bogie frame and each of the Wheel sets, so that the tensile and braking forces of each wheel set are transmitted directly to the bogie frame at the point of intersection of the longitudinal axes of the handlebars, which is freely selectable with regard to its position. At the same time, an ideal, essentially vertical axis of rotation (vertical axis) is determined by the intersection of the handlebar axles, about which the assembly formed by the respective wheel set and the associated drive device can be pivoted relative to the bogie frame. The tractive force differences between the left and the right wheel of the wheel set occurring when cornering can be used to rotate each wheel set about its vertical axis - within the limits given by the flexible guidance of the wheel set axis or in particular the lateral axle bearing.

Advantageous developments of the subject matter of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

According to one embodiment of the invention, which is characterized by particularly good driving properties, in particular smooth cornering of the drive bogie, the axle bearings can each be movably coupled to the bogie frame via a guide part at a pivot point offset in the longitudinal direction of the bogie relative to the axis of the associated wheel set, and the intersection of the longitudinal axes of the converging links can lie in a section of the arrangement area of the wheel set and the housing which is essentially delimited by the axis of the wheel set and an imaginary transverse plane extending through the articulation points of the guide parts. The intersection can accordingly be arranged directly on the axle of the wheelset or in the area of the transverse plane, or at any distance between these two limits. In such designs, in particular those with axles axially fixed in the housing of the drive device, the axles - under the action of transverse forces, such as occur when driving through bends - can be pivoted about the corresponding ideal vertical axis in the manner of a Bissel axis. In versions with an intersection of the longitudinal axes of the handlebar pair arranged in the area of the wheelset axis, particularly small axial adjustment paths between the housing and the wheelset axle result, in particular in connection with axles movably mounted on the housings in the axial direction. In versions in which the intersection of the longitudinal axes of the handlebar pairs lies in the transverse plane extending through the articulation points of the guide parts and thus through the transverse support between the wheel set in question and the bogie frame, in particular in connection with gearwheels interacting via helical gears and with relative to the bogie frame in the vehicle longitudinal direction guided side axle bearings of the wheel sets, unwanted yawing movements of the wheel set relative to the bogie frame are avoided.

In a motor bogie in an embodiment of the invention which is particularly suitable for driving through tight curves, the housings of the drive devices can be connected by a cross-coupling device which ver when the one housing is adjusted by one through the intersection of the longitudinal axes of the handlebar pair running vertical axis bring about a corresponding adjustment of the other housing about the associated vertical axis in the opposite direction. The coupled in this way, each arranged at a relatively small distance from each other axles can set relatively easily due to the small angle differences in an approximately radial position to the curve.

The drive bogie shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 contains two wheel sets 1 and 2, each of which is connected to a drive motor 3, and a bogie frame 4, which is divided by a cross member 5. The bogie frame 4 is supported by springs 6 on four axle bearings 7, in which the ends of the two axles 8 of the wheel sets 1 and 2 are mounted. On the bogie frame 4 is supported via lateral springs l0 a part of a vehicle body ll only partially shown, which via a device, not shown, for transmitting tensile and braking forces, e.g. a pivot arranged in the center of the bogie M on the cross member 5 or a deep-drawing device with which the bogie frame 4 is connected.

The axle bearings 7 are each pivotably articulated on the bogie frame 4 by a pivot arm l2 pointing against the transverse center plane Q of the bogie about a transversely arranged pin l3. The pins l3 are each of an intermediate piece l4 made of a rubber-elastic material, e.g. one based on silicone rubber, by means of which the swivel arm l2 in question is mounted on the pin l3 in a manner which allows it to move in space and is resilient on the pin l3 in the longitudinal and transverse direction of the bogie. Accordingly, no tensile and braking forces are transmitted to the bogie frame 4 via the axle bearings 7, but rather only relatively low transverse forces resulting from the elastic transverse support on the pin 13.

The drive motors 3 are each provided with a housing l6 which is supported on the axle 8 of the wheel set 1 or 2 in question by two bearings l7 formed thereon. A gear wheel l8 is attached to each axis 8 orders, which is in engagement with a pinion 20 of the drive motor 3 in question. 2, the gear wheels l8 and 20 can cooperate via helical teeth, and the axes 8 can be arranged axially displaceably in the bearings 17 and in the gear wheel l8. The housings l6 of the drive motors 3 are further articulated in each case on a suspension pendulum 2l arranged in the longitudinal center plane L of the bogie so that they can move about a transverse axis. The pendant pendulums 2l are also articulated so that they can pivot on two brackets 22 arranged on the cross member 5.

For the transmission of tensile and braking forces between the cross member 5 and each of the housing l6 two from the cross member 5 convergingly arranged towards the respective housing handlebars 23 and 24 are provided, which are each pivotally pivoted about a vertical pin on the cross member 5 and the housing l6 . 2, the links 23 and 24 are arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal center plane L, the elongated longitudinal axes of each pair of links 23, 24 intersecting at an ideal intersection S, which lies essentially on the center line of the axle set 8 concerned. At the articulation points of the pendulum 2l and possibly the links 23 and 24 on the drive motors 3 and the crossmember 5, the articulated parts can have spherical bearing surfaces and / or can interact via flexible bearing parts, for example in accordance with the intermediate pieces l4.

The articulation points (pin l3) of the axle bearings 7 the swivel arms l2 and the links 23, 24 are arranged essentially at the level of the center of the axles of the wheel sets l and 2. An ideal vertical axis of rotation (vertical axis) is determined by the intersection points S about which the structural unit consisting of the respective wheel set 1 or 2 and the relevant drive motor 3 can be pivoted relative to the bogie frame 4 when passing through a curve. The axle bearings 7 can be arranged axially fixed on the axles 8 and can be kept movable in the longitudinal and transverse directions of the bogie and in the vertical direction by the springs 6 and by the flexible articulation on the journal l3. In other embodiments, corresponding, axially movable axle bearings 7 can be held stationary on the bogie frame 4 in the transverse direction and arranged axially displaceably on the axles 8. In the arrangement shown in FIG. 2 with ideal vertical axes running through the wheelset axles 8, there are particularly small axial relative movements between the interacting parts, so that minimal play B and C between the drive motor 3 and the gears 18, 20 or the one wheel of the relevant wheel set l, 2 and a correspondingly small game D between the gears l8, 20 and the other wheel of the wheel set l or 2 are required.

The wheel sets 1 and 2 can be pivoted about the vertical axis passing through the intersection point S under the action of transverse forces, such as those which occur in curves, depending on the type of "bissel axis". Within the by the formation of the springs 6 and the articulation points (pin l3) of the Axial bearing 7 leading swivel arms l2 given design limits, the intersection points S of the elongated longitudinal axes of the links 23 and 24 can each be arranged at any distance A from the center line of the relevant axle set 8.

Dadurch kann in an sich bekannter Weise eine annähernd radiale Einstellung der beiden Achsen 8 der Radsätze l und 2 bezüglich der zu durchfahrenden Kurve erzielt werden.4 and 5, the housing l6 of the drive motors 3 with the cross member 5 are each coupled via two converging links 23 'and 24', each in the form of a loadable by essentially vertically acting weight and support forces bracket l9 are trained. The brackets l9 each have a hinge-like end section on the cross member 5, while the other end section is connected to the housing l6 so that it can move. The hinge-like articulation on the housing l6 and the movable articulation on the bogie frame 4 can also be provided. The articulation points of the brackets l9 can also contain flexibly arranged bearing parts. 5, the distances A of the intersection points S from the center lines of the axes 8 each correspond approximately to the distances between the axis 8 in question and the pin 13. The ideal vertical axes determined by the intersection points S are therefore each in a transverse plane E, which runs parallel to the axis 8 in question through the articulation points (pins l3) of the swivel arms l2 forming the transverse support of the axle bearings 7. In this embodiment, in particular in connection with helical gears 28 and with axle bearings 7 movably guided in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the bogie frame 4, yaw movement of the gear sets 1 and 2 caused by tooth forces of the helical teeth around the ideal vertical axes running through the intersection points S is avoided. The two wheel sets 1 and 2 can also by a cross clutch 25 in the transverse direction be flexibly coupled. The transverse coupling 25 contains two arms 26 attached to the mutually facing sides of the housing 16 of the drive motors 3, each pointing towards the transverse center plane Q of the bogie, and a wishbone 27 which is articulated on both ends of one of the arms 26. Through the transverse clutch 25, the two wheel sets 1 and 2 are coupled such that when driving through a curve, a rotary movement of the one wheel set 1 or 2 about its vertical axis determined by the intersection S a corresponding, counter-rotating movement of the other wheel set 2 or 1 about its vertical axis evokes. As a result, an approximately radial adjustment of the two axes 8 of the wheel sets 1 and 2 can be achieved in a manner known per se with respect to the curve to be traveled.

The control arm 27 can be formed in one piece or, as shown in FIG. 5, contain two parts 27a and 27b in a manner known per se, which are connected to one another in the transverse direction by a spring element 28. In conjunction with a rigid, one-piece wishbone, one of the arms 26 or the connection between one of the arms 26 and the respective wishbone can also be designed to be correspondingly elastic, which enables corresponding compensating movements of the wheel sets 1 and 2 coupled by the transverse clutch when driving through curves . Also at the articulation points of the wishbone 27, similar to the hand pendulums 2l, the links 23, 24, 23 ', 24' and the swivel arms l2 means can be provided which ensure a spatially movable connection of the interacting parts.

As can be seen from FIGS. 6 and 7, the links 23 and 24 can also be articulated on the end supports 4a of the bogie frame 4 and on the housing parts 16a of the drive motors 3 facing these supports 4a. According to the embodiment shown, the housing sections l6a can each connect the bearings l7 of the relevant housing l6.

2 über die axial verschiebbaren Lager l7 abgestützt und je über die in Längsrichtung konvergierenden Lenker 23 und 24 mit dem Drehgestellrahmen 4 in Drehgestell-Längsrichtung kraftschlüssig gekoppelt ist.8 instead of drive motors supported directly on the wheelset axles, other drive devices, e.g. Two gears 3l and 32 may be provided, which can be coupled to a drive motor, not shown, arranged on the vehicle body. The gears 3l and 32 are each arranged in a housing 33 or 34, which is suspended from the brackets 22 of the cross member 5 via a pendulum, not visible in this illustration, on the axle 8 of the wheel set 1 or 2 in question via the axially displaceable Bearing 17 supported and each non-positively coupled to the bogie frame 4 in the longitudinal direction of the bogie via the links 23 and 24 converging in the longitudinal direction.

The two gears 3l and 32 each contain a gear wheel l8 'fastened on the axis 8' and a meshing pinion 20 ', which is fastened with a bevel gear 35 on a common shaft 36 mounted in the housing 33 and 34, respectively. The teeth of the gear wheel l8 'and the pinion 20' are designed so that they allow axial relative movements of these parts. The bevel gears 35 are each in engagement with a bevel gear 37 or 37a, which is arranged on a shaft 38 or 38a mounted in the housing 33 or 34. The transmission 3l also contains a reversing gear with a gear 40 arranged on the shaft 38 and a gear 4l arranged on a shaft 42. The shaft 42 is coupled to the shaft 38a of the transmission 32 by a cardan shaft 43. The shaft 38 is - if necessary via a further cardan shaft, not shown - coupled to the shaft of the drive motor, not shown, from which both wheel sets 1 and 2 are driven.

Instead of hanging pendulums, other facilities, e.g. in the longitudinal and transverse direction flexible rubber / metal composite elements, for weight support and as a torque support of the drive device may be provided.
