Abstract

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Drehtrommel, wie Drehrohrofen, Trommel­trockner oder eine ähnliche Maschine mit einer umlaufenden Trommel, die während des Betriebes von heißen Gasen durchzogen wird. Bei derartigen Maschinen hat man zur Abdichtung zwischen der Drehtrommel und einem ein Ende der Drehtrommel ring­förmig umschließenden, fest angeordneten Gehäuse, z. B. dem Aufgabegehäuse für das zu behandelnde Gut, an einem Ringflansch der Drehtrommel einen Dichtungsring, z. Dadurch kommt der Ringflansch 22 zur Anlage gegen die beiden Rollen 20 und schiebt über die Schienen 19 den ver­schiebbaren Teil 6 des Aufgabegehäuses 2 und die daran be­findliche ringförmige Anlagefläche für die Dichtungsringe um den gleichen Betrag vor sich her, um den sich der die Dichtungsringe tragende Ringflansch der Drehtrommel be­wegt, so daß der Abstand zwischen der Ringfläche und dem Ringflansch praktisch nich verändert und die Dichtungs­ ringe durch Temperaturveränderungen nicht beeinflußt werden.
