Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Verschieben von in Aufnahmen eines umlaufenden Förderers befindlichen stabförmigen Artikeln der tabakverarbeitenden Industrie, insbesondere von Zigaretten und/oder Filtern, in Richtung ihrer Längsachsen, mit mindestens einem umlaufenden Andrückring, der in einem Verschiebebereich gegen die Stirnseiten der Artikel gedrückt wird.
Unter stabförmigen Artikeln der tabakverarbeitenden Industrie werden verstanden Zigaretten mit und ohne Filter, Zigarillos, Zigarren sowie Filterstäbe.
Im Verlauf der Herstellung oder Weiterverarbeitung der obengenannten stabförmigen Artikel ist es mitunter erforderlich, die Artikel in Richtung ihrer Längsachsen zu verschieben. So kann ein sich nicht in einer Soll-Lage befindlicher Artikel während seiner Förderung in diese verschoben werden. Ein Beispiel dafür ist bei der Vorbereitung von Gruppen aus Zigaretten und Filterstopfen zum Umhüllen mit einem beleimten Verbindungsblättchen gegeben. Hierbei werden jeweils zwei axial fluchtende Zigaretten in Aufnahmen eines umlaufenden Förderers, z. B. einer rotierenden Trommel, überführt. Zwischen den Zigaretten wird dann noch jeweils ein axial fluchtender Filterstopfen doppelter Gebrauchslänge abgelegt. Um eine störungsfreie Ablage des Filterstopfens zu gewährleisten, befinden sich zwischen den Zigaretten und dem Filterstopfen einer Gruppe Abstände, die durch axiale Verschiebung der Zigaretten beseitigt werden müssen, damit die eine Gruppe bildenden Komponenten von Zigaretten und Filterstopfen dicht an dicht liegen. In der deutschen Patentschrift 1 008 173 ist ein geeigneter Verschiebemechanismus beschrieben, bei dem sogenannte Taumelringe über eine Vielzahl von Federn an der Nabe einer die Gruppen in Mulden fördernden Trommel befestigt sind. Die der Erfindung zugrundeliegende Aufgabe besteht darin, eine mechanisch robuste Verschiebevorrichtung zu schaffen, die Brüche von Federn nicht mehr besorgen lässt und für hohe Geschwindigkeiten geeignet ist.
Die Lösung gemäss der Erfindung besteht darin, dass der Andrückring zumindest teilweise aus Silikonmaterial besteht, und dass in einem Verschiebebereich mindestens ein Betätigungselement zum federnd elastischen Andrücken des Andrückrings an die Artikel vorgesehen ist.
Eine besonders vorteilhafte Weiterbildung der Erfindung besteht in einer Ausbildung des Förderers als umlaufende, d. h. rotierende, Trommel, die mit Mulden versehen ist, in denen die Artikel in Richtung ihrer Längsachsen verschiebbar gefördert werden. Der Andrückring läuft dann bevorzugt synchron mit der Trommel um. Ist der Andrückring in weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung in einem vorzugsweise inneren kreisrunden Endbereich auf einer Narbe der Trommel befestigt, so ist die Verschiebevorrichtung im Gegensatz zu den bekannten Vorrichtungen mechanisch sehr stabil.
Eine wichtige Weiterbildung der Vorrichtung gemäss der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Andrückringring auf der der Trommel abgewandten Seite konkav geformt ist , d. h. eine konkave Ausnehmung aufweist. Bei einer derartigen Ausbildung des Andrückrings lässt sich letzterer durch das Betätigungselement besonders leicht und verschleißarm verformen. Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausbildung der Erfindung besteht darin, an dem äußeren Endbereich des aus Silikon bestehenden Andrückrings einen aus starrem Material, z. B. aus Metall, bestehender Außenring zu befestigen. Der starre Außenring kann vorteilhaft im Bereich der Stirnseite eines Artikels eine Durchbrechung aufweisen.
Bei dem im vorstehenden erwähnten besonderen Anwendungszweck der Erfindung, nämlich bei einer Verschiebetrommel für Zigaretten-Filter-Gruppen sind zweckmässig auf beiden Seiten des umlaufenden Förderers Andrückringe mit Betätigungselementen vorgesehen.
Die Erfindung umfasst außer dem bevorzugten Silikonmaterial für die Andrückringe auch Andrückringe aus ähnlichem geeigneten federnd elastischem Material, z. B. aus einem gummielastischen Kunststoff oder einem entsprechenden Metallmaterial.
