Nach einer zweckmäßigen Weiterbildung erfolgt eine erste Teilumrollung beim Übergeben
der Verbindungsblättchen an die Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen, wobei nach einem eine
gemeinsame Übergabe der teilverbundenen Komponenten umfassenden Förderschritt eine
Endumrollung vorgenommen wird. Auf diese Weise wird die freie Länge des Verbindungsblättchens
im Zuge der Förderbewegung soweit verkürzt, daß das Blättchenende von der
nachfolgenden Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppe freikommt bzw. von dieser nicht eingeholt
wird.
Um eine absolut sichere Klebeverbindung zu gewährleisten, wird nach einem weiteren Vorschlag

in Kontakt geraten, sieht eine weitere Ausgestaltung vor, daß eine erste Rollstation unmittelbar
einem zwischen der Saugwalze und der Muldentommel vorgesehenen Übergabebereich
der Verbindungsblättchen an die Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen zugeordnet ist, und
daß eine zweite Rollstation einer mit der Muldentrommel zusammenwirkenden Rolltrommel
zugeordnet ist, womit eine sichere Ganzumrollung gewährleistet ist.
Eine zuverlässige Rundumverbindung wird noch dadurch unterstützt, daß die zweite Rollstation
einen der Außenumfangsfläche der Rolltrommel gegenüberliegenden ortsfesten
Rollklotz umfaßt, dessen Rollfläche einem Mehrfachen der Umfangslänge der Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen
entspricht.
Ein sicherer Erstkontakt und Anfangsumwicklung des Verbindungsblättchens wird gemäß
einer bevorzugten Weiterbildung dadurch möglich, daß die erste Rollstation einen am
Innenumfang der Muldentrommel angeordneten ortsfesten Rollklotz aufweist.
Um eine sichere Aufnahme der Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen in den Trommelmulden vor
der Kontaktierung mit dem Verbindungsblättchen und nach der Teilumrollung zu gewährleisten,
sind die - bezogen auf die Förderrichtung der Muldentrommel - stromab bzw.,
stromauf angeordneten Muldenflanken der Trommelmulden mit Saugluftöffnungen
versehen.
Um bei einer variierten Ausführungsform der Erfindung einen ungehinderten Rollvorgang zu
gewährleisten, sind die im wesentlichen dem Durchmesser der Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen
angepaßten Trommelmulden an im Bereich des Rollklotzes radial einziehbaren

Die an den erfindungsgemäßen Rollvorgängen beteiligten Fördermittel umfassen eine in
Pfeilrichtung 1 umlaufende Saugwalze 2, auf welcher auf der Außenseite beleimte Verbindungsblättchen
3 mit einem definierten Teilungsabstand zugeführt werden, der durch die
Länge der Verbindungsblättchen 3 vorgegeben ist. Das jeweils in Förderrichtung (Pfeil 1)
vornliegende Ende eines Verbindungsblättchens 3 schließt mit einer Anrollkante 4 der
Saugwalze 2 ab.
Ein weiteres an einem ersten Rollvorgang beteiligtes Fördermittel ist als Muldentrommel 6
ausgebildet, welche in Pfeilrichtung 7 umläuft und mit Trommelmulden 8 ausgestattet ist,
die einen kleineren Teilungsabstand zur Aufnahme von Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen 9
aufweisen als die Verbindungsblättchen 3 auf der Saugwalze 2. Die Trommelmulden 8
selbst sind beträchtlich größer bemessen als der Durchmesser der Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen
9 und mit an ihren seitlichen Muldenflanken austretenden Saugluftöffnungen 11
zum Halten der Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen 9 vor bzw. nach der Teilumrollung versehen.
Diese Teilumrollung erfolgt an einer ersten Rollstation 12 im Zusammenwirkungsbereich
von Saugwalze 2 und Muldentrommel 6, wozu ein am Innenumfang der Muldentrommel 6
ortsfest angestellter Rollklotz 13 mit einer Startleiste 14 vorgesehen ist.
Die auf der Muldentrommel 6 zugeführten Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen 9 liegen - bezogen
auf die Förderrichtung 7 - zunächst an der vorn bzw. stromab befindlichen Muldenflanke
an und treffen eingangs der Rollstation 12 jeweils mit dem Anfang eines Verbindungsblättchens
3 zusammen, welches auf eine Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppe 9 aufgedrückt
wird. Die oberseitig wirksam werdende Anrollkante 4 der Saugwalze 2 und gleichzeitig unterseitig
wirksam werdende Startleiste 14 des Rollklotzes 13 versetzen die Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppe
9 gemäß den Figuren 3a bis 3c in dem zwischen der Saugwalze 2 und
dem Rollklotz 13 gebildeten Rollkanal in Richtung des Pfeils 16 in Drehung, wobei sich die
Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppe 9 von der vorderen Muldenflanke, deren Saugluft abgeschaltet
wird, löst und über die ganze Breite des Rollklotzes 13 abrollt. Dabei wird das Verbindungsblättchen
3 bis etwa über den halben Umfang um die Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppe
9 herumgewickelt, bis diese teilumhüllte Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppe 9 sich an die rückwärtige,
durch Saugluft beaufschlagte Muldenflanke gemäß Figur 3c anlegt.
Bei diesem Roll- bzw. Wickelvorgang hat sich das freie Ende 17 des Verbindungsblättchens
3 gemäß Figur 3c soweit verkürzt, daß ein Kontakt mit der in Förderrichtung 7
stromauf folgenden Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppe 9' ausgeschlossen ist.
Die teilumhüllte Kombination aus Verbindungsblättchen 3 und Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppe
9 wird gemäß Figur 1 auf eine Rolltrommel 18 übergeben, welche die genannten
Komponenten in Pfeilrichtung 19 zu einer zweiten Rollstation 21 überführt, an welcher
zwischen einem Rollklotz 22 und dem Außenumfang der Rolltrommel 18 ein Rollkanal gebildet
wird. Die Rollfläche des Rollklotzes 22 ist erheblich länger als die Umfangsfläche der
Zigaretten-Mundstück-Gruppen 9, so daß diese mehrfach umrollt und mit dem Verbindungsblättchen
3 verbunden werden.
Eine in die Förderbahn eintauchende Ausrichtwalze 23 sorgt für eine achsparallele Ausrichtung
