Definitions

  • the invention relates to a calendar, in particular a three-month calendar, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Three month calendar show three months above or below one another, namely the current month in the middle, the previous month above and the following month below.
  • the current month is highlighted against the months above or below it, in color. This emphasis is usually given by the white coloring of the current (middle) month, while the other two months are highlighted by a colored background, for example in light gray.
  • EP-A-0 142 064 proposes a viewing strip which, in addition to the day marking frame, has a fixed weekly marking frame. This frame sits firmly on the viewing strip and marks the current number of weeks. A disadvantage of this is the confusion resulting from the additional weekly marking. He must always orientate himself to which of the frames shows the number of days or week.
  • Another known calendar according to GB-A-321 573 has a frame-like day marking which is partially tinted to emphasize the current day. It is not possible to emphasize the week digits or the number of weeks.
  • the invention has for its object to provide an informative, clear, aesthetically pleasing and yet inexpensive to produce calendar, in which the disadvantages mentioned above are not present.
  • the calendar according to the invention has the characterizing features of claim 1. Due to the tint, which is designed in such a way that the digits covered by the viewing strip are still recognizable, not only a single digit, but at the same time several digits are highlighted in the same way, in a very clear manner.
  • the colored strip according to the invention also makes it possible to mark the current week if no corresponding week number is provided in the week line before the day numbers.
  • the color of the tint of the viewing strip is matched to the color of the upper and lower monthly sheets, that is to say, for example, both the viewing strip and the upper and lower monthly sheets are designed in a light gray color. This also contributes to the fact that the marking created by the tinting of the viewing strip is not disturbing or confusing for the viewer of the calendar, because the viewing strip adapts itself harmoniously to the remaining color design of the three-month calendar.
  • the entire viewing strip can be colored. This is then expediently made from a colored plastic from the house.
  • the tint of the viewing strip can also be used for advertising purposes. This is done by partially tinting the viewing strip, whereby an advertising print is created using shadow letters.
  • FIG. 1 A three-month calendar, known per se, is shown in simplified form in FIG. 1.
  • This consists of a calendar back wall 10 on which three stacks of monthly sheets 11, 12 and 13 are fastened to one another.
  • the (middle) monthly sheet 12 which usually represents the current month (here: August), is arranged in a horizontally displaceable viewing strip.
  • a frame 15 for day marking (here: August 14) is again fastened horizontally displaceably on the viewing strip 14.
  • the calendar rear wall 10 is here somewhat wider than the monthly sheets 11, 12, 13, whereby narrow marginal strips 38 protrude laterally next to the monthly sheets 11, 12, 13.
  • the viewing strip 14 which usually consists of a clear material, namely preferably PVC, is tinted here over the entire width of the monthly sheet 12, in such a way that the numbers covered by the viewing strip 14 (here: 33; 11-17) are still clearly visible.
  • This design of the viewing strip 14 marks the entire current week line 16 (here: 33rd week) covered by it, while the frame 15 additionally marks the current day of the week (here: 14 August) in a manner known per se.
  • the different colors or tints of the three-month calendar are highlighted in FIG. 1 by a surface pattern consisting of dot grids. Accordingly, the lettering on the (middle) monthly sheet 12 for the current month is on a white background, while the lettering on the monthly sheet 11 (here: July) and the monthly sheet 13 (here: September) is on a background with a different color .
  • the tint of the viewing strip 14 is also carried out in the color of the monthly pages 11 and 13. Accordingly, the monthly sheet 11 preceding the current month (here: August), the subsequent monthly sheet 13 and the current weekly line 16 are of approximately the same color due to the tint of the viewing strip 14.
  • the other week lines of the current month stand out from the other week lines of the three-month calendar by a different color, namely white in the present case.
  • the edge strips 38 are likewise designed to be white throughout.
  • Fig. 2 shows a further embodiment of the invention, which differs from the above in that a viewing strip 17 (without frame 15) only in the area of the working days (here: August 11-15) of the current week in the color of (upper) monthly sheet 11 and the (lower) monthly sheet 13 tinted is.
  • This exemplary embodiment of the invention is particularly suitable for use for commercial purposes, because the working days available in the marked week are clearly highlighted.
  • FIG 3 shows a further exemplary embodiment, in which the three-month calendar has a (narrower) calendar rear wall 18, the upright edges 19 and 20 of which are flush with the edges of the monthly pages 11 ... 13.
  • the coloring of the monthly sheets 11 and 13 runs continuously between the two opposite upright margins 19 and 20.
  • the margin strips 38 formed by the calendar rear wall 18 laterally next to the monthly sheets 11 and 13 in the color of the (middle) monthly sheet 12 are therefore omitted
  • the tint of the viewing strip 21 runs over the entire front side of the three-month calendar shown in this figure.
  • the viewing strip 21 that is to say also with its ends guided behind the calendar rear wall 18.
  • the viewing strip can then be made from a suitably colored thermoplastic plastic.
  • the tinting must be carried out retrospectively, either by sticking on a tinted film, printing or vapor deposition of a corresponding tint.
