Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cremone bolt with two locking rods moving in opposite directions, comprising, in a housing integral with the headrest, a mechanism comprising a nut having a protruding part passing through a light in the headrest and constituting a beating and controlling bolt the first locking rod directly and indirectly via a reversing element the second locking rod, said locking rods being arranged in the same alignment and flat against the internal face of the headrest, the end of the first locking rod being disposed along the inside of the housing while the end of the second locking rod is returned against the bottom of the housing.
  • Document FR-A-2 116 775 already discloses a cremone bolt with a headrest with two locking rods moving in opposite directions, comprising, in a housing integral with the headrest, a mechanism comprising a nut controlling the two locking rods arranged in the same alignment and flat against the internal face of the headrest, the end of the first locking rod being disposed along the internal face of the housing while the end of the second locking rod is returned against the case back.
  • the notching in the profile of the opening of a window, French window or the like, for housing the casing of this cremone bolt is a function of the width of the casing which itself is variable and depends on the distance from which the axis of the follower is distant from the external face of the headrest.
  • document FR-A-1 036 577 also discloses a lever mechanism actuating two locking rods moving in opposite directions.
  • This mechanism comprises a housing, the front face of which has a lumen for the passage of the projecting part of a rotary bolt. It is toothed over most of its periphery and its teeth mesh with the teeth of a rack located in the same plane as the toothed periphery of the follower.
  • This rack has a second gear actuating a second rack by means of a toothed wheel.
  • the two locking rods are attached to these two racks.
  • this lever requires a deep notching in the edge of the opening because the interaction of the bolt with the first rack and the interaction of the latter with the second rack are located in the same plane and are done frontally.
  • the present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks.
  • the invention as characterized in the claims, solves the problem of creating a cremone bolt with two locking rods moving in opposite directions, comprising in a housing integral with the headrest, a mechanism comprising a nut having a protruding part passing through a lumen in the headrest and constituting a beating bolt and directly controlling the first locking rod and indirectly via a reversing element the second locking rod, said locking rods being arranged in the same alignment and flat against the internal face of the headrest, the end of the first lock rod lage being arranged along the inner face of the housing while the end of the second locking rod is returned against the bottom of the housing, and whose first locking rod has one end laterally overlapping the body of the follower and the second locking rod has one end bilaterally overlapping the body of the follower.
  • the direct control of the end of the first locking rod by the follower is economically conceivable when the follower has a toothed sector, projecting laterally relative to its body, meshing in a sector toothed from the end of the first locking rod.
  • a particular design of the invention avoiding forging the end of the first locking rod when the follower comprises a beating bolt, provides that the first locking rod comprises a connecting piece provided with the stud engaging in the light produced in the body of the follower.
  • the invention provides that the end of the second locking rod returned against the bottom of the housing includes, facing the follower, a release light.
  • This light allows the body of the follower to encroach on the volume occupied by the second locking rod.
  • it also allows a particular embodiment of the invention according to which the start of the unlocking movement of the lever is facilitated by a provision of the invention providing that the body of the follower has an attack curvature acting against a face of support of the clearance light at the end of the second locking rod.
  • this arrangement of the invention allows a direct combined action of the nut on the ends of the two locking rods at a time when the force to be transmitted by the mechanism of the lever to the locking rods is at its peak, c ' that is to say when it comes to initiating the unlocking of the lever.
  • One of the advantages obtained thanks to this invention consists essential ment in that the depth of the notching of the housing for the housing is reduced to the smallest depth, in particular for the cremone bolts comprising a maximum distance between the axis of the follower and the external face of the headrest. Therefore, the depth of the notching of the housing for the housing is identical despite different distances between the axis of the follower and the outer face of the headrest.
  • Another advantage obtained thanks to this invention consists in that, because the action between the follower and the toothed sector of the end of the first locking rod takes place by means arranged laterally relative to the body of the follower, the width of the housing can be reduced for the first time and, since the end of the second locking rod has a groove in which the follower engages, it is possible to bring this second locking rod together. the headrest and decrease the width of the housing a second time. Therefore, it is also possible to reduce the depth of the notch made in the edge of the opening.
  • the cremone bolt 1 comprises a housing 2, the front 3 of which is integral with the internal face 4 of a faceplate 5, this internal face 4 also serving as the internal face of the housing 2.
  • This internal face 4 in the longitudinal direction, s' extends on either side of said housing 2.
  • the housing contains a mechanism comprising a follower 6.
  • This follower 6 controls two locking rods 7, 8 moving in opposite directions.
  • the two locking rods 7, 8 are arranged in the same alignment and flat against the internal face 4 of the headrest 5.
  • the end 9 of the first locking rod 7 is arranged along the internal face of the housing 2 then that the end 10, connected by a reference 11 to the second locking rod 8, and forming an integral part of the latter, moves along the bottom 12 of the housing 2.
  • the follower 6 directly controls the end 9 of the first locking rod 7 by means of a connection 13 arranged perpendicular to the body 14 of the follower 6. To obtain the desired result, the end 9 of the first locking rod 7 laterally overlaps said body 14 of the follower 6.
  • the end 9 of the first locking rod 7 is provided with a toothing 15 cooperating with a reversing element 16.
  • the latter is advantageously a toothed pinion pivoting about an axis 17 integral with the housing 2.
  • the reversing element 16 cooperates with a toothing 18 produced in the end 10 of the second locking rod 8.
  • connection 13 comprises on the rod 7 for locking the cremone bolt 1 a toothed sector 15 ⁇ meshing with a toothing 16 ⁇ produced in the body 14 of the follower 6.
  • the link 13 consists of a lumen 20 and a stud 21 moving in this lumen 20.
  • the end 9 of the first locking rod 7 has the lumen 20 while the stud 21 protrudes laterally relative to the body 14 of the follower 6.
  • the stud 21 is integral with the end 9 of the first locking rod 7 while the opening 20 is produced in the body 14 of the follower 6.
  • the body 14 of the follower 6 has a projecting part 26.
  • the latter passes through a lumen 27 made in the headrest 5. Therefore, this projecting part 26 can constitute a beating bolt, therefore a point lock located at the handle.
  • the first locking rod 7 advantageously comprises a connecting piece 28 provided with the stud 21 meshing in the lumen 20 produced in the body 14 of the follower 6.
  • This connecting piece 28 is arranged perpendicularly to the rear face 22 of the end 9 of the first locking rod 7.
  • This connecting piece 28 also has the guide edge 23 bearing against the shaft 24 of the follower 6.
  • One practices in one of the ends 29 of the connecting piece 28 a cutout 30 into which is inserted a control finger 31 located near the end edge 25 of the end 9 of the first locking rod 7.
  • the end 10 of the second locking rod 8 comprises, facing the follower 6, a clearance light 32.
  • This clearance light 32 allows the body 14 of the follower 6 to encroach on the volume occupied by the second locking rod 8.
  • a song of the body 14 of the follower 6 constitutes an attack curvature (19) cooperating with a bearing face 33 of the release light 32. Therefore, it facilitates the start of the unlocking movement of the lever 1.
  • the direct control of the first rod locking 7 is ensured by the connecting piece 28 sliding between one of the faces of the body 14 of the follower 6 and one of the internal faces of the side walls of the housing 2.
  • This connecting piece 28 is pependicular to the internal face of the first locking rod 7 and cooperates, on the one hand, with the latter, via the control finger 31 located near the end edge 25 of the end 9 of the first locking rod 7 and fitting into a cutout 30 made in the connecting piece 28 and, on the other hand, with the follower 6 by means of the stud 21 sliding in the slot 20 produced in the body 14 of the follower 6.
  • the headrest lever has a number of drawbacks. Firstly, it turned out that the connecting piece 28 has a certain brittleness, which reduces the reliability of the cremone bolt. Furthermore, this connecting piece 28 limits the stroke of the first locking rod 7 and, consequently, the stroke of the second locking rod 8. In fact, it has been found that the stroke is no longer than sixteen millimeters when, according to traditional standards, this stroke should be eighteen millimeters. Finally, the sole guide of the connecting piece 28 against the shaft 24 of the follower 6 when the cremone bolt is placed in the open position or against the assembly rivet of the two side walls of the housing 2 does not provide good maintenance of the various elements brought together. This may result in too much play, which may affect the proper functioning of the cremone bolt.
  • the invention also aims to design a cremone bolt with two locking rods moving in the opposite direction of a stroke at least equal to the stroke determined by traditional standards, while increasing the resistance of the part of connection to the efforts required and to ensure good maintenance of all the parts of the mechanism housed in the housing.
  • the connecting piece is a fork 34 composed of two branches 35, 36 parallel to the faces 37, 38 of the body 14 of the follower 6.
  • the median plane of the fork 34 is located in the same alignment as the median plane 39 of the follower 6.
  • the median plane of the fork 34 is offset from the median plane 39 of the follower 6.
  • the fork 34 comprises a branch 35 sliding along the internal face 40 of the 'one of the side walls 41 of the housing 2 and a branch 36 composed of two wings 42, 43 connected by a camber 44.
  • One of the wings 42 is integral with the branch 35 while the other wing 43 is disposed between the face 37 of the follower 6 and the internal face 45 of the other side wall 46 of the housing 2.
  • the two branches 35, 36 form a single piece.
  • the two branches 35, 36 are two separate parts interconnected by an assembly means.
  • the two branches 35, 36 are separable and the assembly means is formed either by an axis 47 connecting the branch 35 of the fork 34 to the wing 42 of the branch 36 of the fork 34, or by at least one folded back or cut in the body of the branch 35 or the wing 42 and meshing in at least one lumen made in the body of the branch 35 or the wing 42.
  • the stud 21 can be integral with the internal face 48 of the branch 35 or the internal face 49 of the wing 43 of the branch 36.
  • this stud 21 can be replaced by an axis whose ends 50, 51 are engaged in orifices 52, 53 made respectively in branch 35 and in wing 43 of branch 36.
  • Either one of the branches 35, 36, or the two branches 35, 36 of the fork 34 have on the edge 54 directed towards the end 9 of the first locking rod 7 a recess 55 provided with a control stud 56 engaging in an orifice 57 produced in said end 9 of the first locking rod 7.
  • the latter is guided, on the one hand, by the internal face 4 of the headrest 5, and, on the other hand, by the step 55 of the fork 34.
  • the fork 34 is provided with at least one guide means.
  • This guide means can be constituted by a stud or a tongue 58 projecting relative to the external face 59 of the branch 35 and sliding in an oblong slot 60 produced in the side wall 41 of the housing 2.
  • This guidance can be improved by providing the external face 61 of the wing 43 of the branch 36 with a stud or a protruding tongue 62 sliding in an oblong opening 63 made in the side wall 46 of the housing 2.
  • the two oblong slots 60, 63 do not face each other but are offset with respect to each other in the direction of travel of the fork 34. As a result, the latter is guided on a certain length and consolidating said guide. So, he becomes possible to lengthen the stroke of the fork 34 and, consequently, the stroke of the two locking rods 7, 8.
  • the length of the oblong slots 60, 63 is at least equal to the length of the stroke fork 34.
  • the median plane of the fork 34 is offset from the median plane 39 of the follower 6, another advantage is obtained. Indeed, it becomes possible to make the toothing 15 in the opposite edge 64 of the end 9 of the first locking rod 7, which allows, by bringing the reversing element 16 closer to the inner face 45 of the side wall 46 of the housing 2, to consolidate the retention of said reversing element 16.
  • the end 10 of the second locking rod 8 has an open lateral toothing 18, which facilitates the interpenetration of the teeth of the reversing element 16 and those of the open lateral toothing 18 of the end 10 of the second locking rod 8.
