Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pushbutton switch device with a flat carrier on which switch contacts are arranged, and with a button arrangement with a plurality of resilient switch buttons for actuating the switch contacts, two switch contacts, each consisting of a contact pair, closing when a switch button is actuated.
  • Such a key switch device which corresponds to the preamble of claim 1, is known from DE-A-33 00 186 ( Figure 4).
  • two switch contacts are arranged independently of one another electrically on a flat carrier.
  • An associated switch button which forms the switching contacts by arching a switching chamber, has a separate button part for each switching contact. If the switch button is actuated, its stroke up to the actuation of the one switch contact is greater than its stroke until the other switch contact is actuated.
  • the button parts of the push button are designed as switching knobs which are offset in the stroke direction.
  • Switching chambers are formed on the flat carrier, in which two switching contacts are arranged one above the other.
  • the assigned switch button has a rubber-elastic switch knob for closing the contacts. If the switch knob is actuated, the upper switch contact and then the lower switch contact are closed first because the switch contacts are arranged one above the other.
  • the object of the invention is to propose a pushbutton switch device of the type mentioned in the introduction, in which a successive switching sequence of the switching contacts arranged in a space-saving manner within a switching chamber by a e.g. selectable design of the button arrangement is ensured in the course of the assembly.
  • the above object is achieved in a pushbutton switch device of the type mentioned at the outset in that the respective contact surfaces of the switch contacts to be actuated face each other in that the switch button has a switch knob and a spring-elastic insert which extends over the switch contacts assigned to this switch switch and between the switch knob and the switching contacts are arranged such that the insert part has an inner region, an outer region and an edge region and the inner region is connected to the outer region via a web and the outer region is connected to the edge region via a further web so that the first button part formed on the inner region is acted upon the switching knob first actuates one switching contact and then pulls the second button part in such a way that it subsequently actuates the second switching contact.
  • the expedient design of the pushbutton switch device advantageously make it possible, even while a keyboard is being assembled, to select the position within its key matrix at which a switch pushbutton is to close two switch contacts one after the other when it is actuated.
  • the insert part of the switch button is a simple part, for example made of elastic plastic. The insert only has to be inserted in the case of switch buttons that require the actuation of two switch contacts one after the other.
  • the resilient insert is electrically conductive and acts as a contact element on a switching plane that is directly acted upon.
  • a key switch device has a key arrangement 1, which is provided with a rubber-elastic switching mat 2, on which a plurality of switching knobs 3 are formed.
  • the switch mat 2 is fastened on a dimensionally stable support plate 4, which has 3 recesses 5 under the switch knobs.
  • Conventional keys can be arranged in a frame above the switching knobs 3.
  • a spacer film 6 is glued under the carrier plate 4.
  • This has a recess 7 under the recess 5, which is additionally provided with cutouts 8.
  • An insert 9, which has a circular outline, is inserted into the recess 7 and possibly into the recess 5. For the alignment of the insert 9, this finger 10 has which are in the cutouts 8.
  • a flat carrier 11 with switching contacts 13 and 14 arranged side by side in switching chambers 12 is glued under the spacing film 6.
  • the switching chambers 12 are located under the switching knobs 3. It is not necessary for 12 switching contacts 13 and 14 to be arranged next to one another in all switching chambers.
  • the insert 9 is not necessary via switching chambers with only one switching contact.
  • the flat carrier 11 is formed by a film circuit consisting of a spacer film 15 and conductor films 16 and 17, the conductor tracks of the conductor films 16 and 17 in the switching chamber 12 contact surfaces Form 13 'or 13' 'and contact surfaces 14' or 14 ''.
  • the contact surfaces 13 'and 13' 'or 14' and 14 '' of the two switching contacts 13 and 14 are directly opposite.
  • the insert 9 has an annular edge region 18 which is supported on the carrier 11. Within the edge area 18 there is an annular outer area 19 and a likewise annular, but smaller inner area 20 of the insert 9.
  • the areas 18, 19 and 20 are concentric.
  • the outer region 19 is connected to the edge region 18 with a web 21.
  • the inner region 20 is connected to the outer region 19 by means of a web 22.
  • the insert 9 is formed by a resilient plastic part.
  • the webs 21 and 22 are offset by 180 o with respect to the circumference of the areas 18, 19 and 20, so that there is a staggered deflection of the inner area 20 with respect to the outer area 19 and the outer area 19 with respect to the edge area 18.
  • the inner region 20 forms a button part 23.
  • the inner region 20 forms a button part 24.
  • the button parts 23 and 24 are designed to be spherically raised in relation to their immediate surroundings.
  • the alignment of the insert part 9 by the fingers 10 or the cutouts 8 ensures that the button part 23 in an alignment with the contact surfaces 13 'and 13' 'and the button part 24 in an alignment with the contact surfaces 14' and 14 ' 'stands, with the contact surfaces running parallel to each other. If the contact surfaces 13 ', 13' ', 14' and 14 '' were rings as concentric with the areas 19 and 20, alignment by means of the fingers 10 could be omitted.
  • the switching knob 3 has an integral shape 25 on the inside, which is arranged in such a way that when it is pressed on the switching knob 3 it hits the inside 20, but not the outside 19. Accordingly, the end face 25 'is largely curved.
  • the functioning of the exemplary embodiment described is approximately as follows: If the button (not shown in more detail) is pressed, then the switching knob 3 deforms and its molding 25 presses with the end face 25 'onto the molding 28 of the inner region 20 of the insert part 9. As a result, the button part 23 presses onto the conductor foil 17 such that the contact surfaces Touch 13 'and 13''. As a result, the first switch contact 13 is closed.
