- the invention relates to a device for window frames for their adjustment when installed in the wall openings provided for them, adjustment elements being provided between the frame and reveal in the upper and lower regions of the vertical frame spars, and the adjusted frames being fixed by holding elements.
- Wheel chocks are usually used as adjustment elements, which are to be placed on top of each other in pairs. After the adjustment has been carried out, it must be fixed by screwing the frame to the reveal. Wedging window frames is very time consuming and can hardly be done by one person. Additional, additional wedges often have to be placed in order to bridge the distance between the reveal and the window frame. If one of the wedges is turned too far, it must be pulled back, causing the wedges lying on it to fall out. Once the window frame has been adjusted, it must be fixed to the wall with bench irons. Especially in old buildings that are to be provided with new windows, plaster for the bank iron has to be removed, so that a lot of dust and dirt accumulate in addition to the additional work.
