Claims (32)

1. Elément de fusible (3) comprenant un boîtier (4) de forme essentiellement prismatique ou cylindrique, deux contacts électriques (8, 9) dont au moins l'un est accessible sur le côté extérieur du boîtier (4) latéralement ou radialement par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du boîtier (4) et qui sont reliés électriquement à un dispositif de fusion (11) disposé dans le boîtier (4), ainsi qu'un dispositif de codage (5) qui correspond à la caractéristique électrique de déclenchement du dispositif de fusion (11) et qui coopère avec un dispositif de codage complémentaire d'un socle (2) adapté pour recevoir l'élément de fusible (3), les dispositifs de codage empêchant la mise en place d'un élément de fusible (3) à caractéristique de déclenchement incorrecte, par exemple à intensité admissible trop élevée ou à vitesse de réponse incorrecte du dispositif de fusion (11), caractérisé par le fait que le dispositif de codage (5) est constitué par au moins une saillie (6, 81, 82, 100, 101, 103) qui dépasse latéralement ou radialement par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du boîtier (4) et dans la forme de laquelle est codée la caractéristique de déclenchement telle que le retard ou l'intensité admissible du dispositif de fusion (11), et qu'au moins l'un des contacts électriques (8, 9) est prévu sur une saillie (6, 81, 82, 100, 101, 103) qui code la caractéristique électrique de déclenchement.
2. Elément de fusible comprenant un boîtier (4) de forme essentiellement cylindrique, deux contacts électriques (8, 9) dont l'un au moins est accessible sur le côté extérieur du boîtier (4) latéralement ou radialement par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du boîtier (4) et qui sont reliés électriquement à un dispositif de fusion (11) disposé dans le boîtier (4), ainsi qu'un dispositif de codage (5) qui correspond à la caractéristique de déclenchement électrique du dispositif de fusion (11) et qui coopère avec un dispositif de codage d'un socle (2) adapté pour recevoir l'élément de fusible (3), les dispositifs de codage empêchant la mise en place d'un élément de fusible (3) à une caractéristique de déclenchement incorrecte, par exemple à intensité admissible trop élevée ou à vitesse de réponse incorrecte du dispositif de fusion (11), caractérisé par le fait que sur le boîtier (4) est prévue au moins une saillie (6, 81, 82) rigide dépassant radialement et portant au moins un contact (8, 9) et que le boîtier (4) présente un corps de base et un support (15) maintenu sur le corps de base de manière à pouvoir tourner par rapport à son axe longitudinal, support sur lequel est formé au moins une saillie supplémentaire (51, 52, 53, 85, 86) qui fait partie du dispositif de codage (5), la caractéristique électrique de déclenchement du dispositif de fusion étant codée dans la forme de cette saillie supplémentaire (51, 52, 53, 85, 86).
3. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que la saillie (6, 81, 82, 100) est disposée rigidement sur le boîtier (4).
4. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que le contact (8, 9, 104) est disposé dans la saillie rigide (6, 81, 82, 100) et dépasse de cette dernière latéralement ou radialement par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du boîtier (4).
5. Elément de fusible suivant les revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé par le fait que la saillie rigide (6) s'étend sur toute la longueur du boîtier (4) et contient les deux contacts (8, 9) qui se trouvent à distance l'un de l'autre dans'la direction longitudinale de la saillie (6).
6. Elément de fusible suivant les revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé par le fait que le dispositif de codage (5) présente une deuxième saillie rigide (81, 82) qui, comme la première saillie rigide, dépasse latéralement ou radialement par rapport à l'axe longitudinal du boîtier (4) et fait avec la première saillie (81, 82) un angle différent de 0°, dans un plan perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal du boîtier (4) et que la caractéristique de déclenchement du dispositif de fusion (11) est codée dans l'angle que font les deux saillies (81, 82) l'une avec l'autre et/ou dans la forme de la deuxième saillie (81, 82).
7. Dispositif de fusible suivant une ou plusieurs des revendications précédentes, caractérisé par le fait que dans la première et/ou dans la deuxième saillie(s) rigide(s) (6, 81, 82, 100) est prévu un évidement (26) dans la position axiale, la forme, la profondeur et/ou la longueur duquel est codée la caractéristique électrique de déclenchement du dispositif de fusion (11).
8. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que le boîtier (4) présente un corps de base et un support (15) maintenu sur le corps de base de manière à pouvoir tourner par rapport à son axe longitudinal, support sur lequel est formé au moins une saillie supplémentaire (51, 52, 53, 85, 86) qui fait partie du dispositif de codage (5), la caractéristique électrique de déclenchement du dispositif de fusion étant codée dans la forme de cette saillie supplémentaire (51, 52, 53, 85, 86).
9. Elément de fusible suivant les revendications 2 ou 8, caractérisé par le fait que la caractéristique de déclenchement du dispositif de fusion (1 D'est codée dans l'angle circonférentiel que la saillie supplémentaire (52, 53) fait dans un plan perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal du boîtier (4) et que la saillie supplémentaire (52, 53) présente des dimensions radiales constantes sur cet angle circonférentiel.
10. Elément de fusible suivant les revendications 2 ou 8, caractérisé par le fait que le support (15) est disposé à l'une des deux extrémités frontales du corps de base du boîtier.
11. Elément de fusible suivant les revendications 2 ou 8, caractérisé par le fait que dans la direction longitudinale du corps de base du boîtier, il est prévu, entre la saillie supplémentaire (53) et la surface frontale du support (15), éloignée du corps de base et tournée vers l'extérieur, une troisième saillie (52) qui recouvre la saillie supplémentaire (53) et présente une étendue circonférentielle égale à l'étendue circonférentielle maximale de la saillie supplémentaire (53).
12. Elément de fusible suivant les revendications 2 ou 8, caractérisé par le fait que sur le support (15) présentant une surface frontale plane est disposée au moins une quatrième saillie (51, 85,86) dont la projection dans la direction longitudinale du boîtier est égale ou supérieure à la projection de la saillie rigide (6, 85, 86) sur le corps du base du boîtier, y compris les contacts (8, 9), toutes les saillies (51, 52, 53, 85, 86) du support (15) étant exemptes de contact.
13. Elément de fusible suivant les revendications 2 ou 8, caractérisé par le fait que le support (15) est monté avec possibilité de rotation limitée.
14. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que la saillie (101, 103) est montée mobile dans le boîtier (4) et peut être amenée d'une position de repos dans laquelle elle est retirée derrière le bord extérieur du boîtier (4) dans une position de travail dans laquelle elle dépasse le bord extérieur, et inversement.
15. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 14, caractérisé par le fait que l'un des contacts (104) est couplé avec la saillie mobile (103) de telle manière que ledit contact dépasse le bord extérieur du boîtier (4) dans le sens de l'établissement d'un contact avec le socle (2) dans la position de travail de la saillie mobile et se trouve retiré dans la position de repos.
16. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 14, caractérisé par le fait que l'axe de rotation de la saillie mobile (101, 103) et du contact (104) couplé avec cette dernière s'étend parallèlement à l'axe longitudinal du boîtier (4) et que la partie mobile présente un élément d'engagement (102) pour un outil d'actionnement.
17. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé par le fait que le boîtier (4) présente à une extrémité frontale un bord circulaire (88) dépassant radialement et recouvrant la ou les saillies (81, 82).
18. Elément de fusible suivant les revendications précédentes, caractérisé par le fait que le dispositif de fusion est constitué par un fusible fin sous tube de verre du commerce, avec des capuchons d'extrémité métalliques (19).
19. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 18, caractérisé par le fait que sur les capuchons d'extrémité métalliques (19) sont disposées des cosses de contact (16, 17) qui s'étendent vers l'extérieur à travers la ou les saillies correspondantes (6a, 6b) et forment les contacts (8, 9).
20. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 19, caractérisé par le fait qu'entre les cosses de contact (16, 17) est disposée une pièce d'espacement (23) qui s'étend entre les contacts (8, 9) dans la saillie (6) et contient un évidement (26) qui est aligné avec l'évidement dans la saillie (6) et dans la forme duquel est codée la caractéristique électrique de déclenchement du dispositif de fusion (11).
21. Elément de fusible suivant la revendication 20, caractérisé par le fait que la pièce d'espacement (23) est disposée à l'intérieur du boîtier (4) sur le dispositif de fusion (11).
22. Socle pour l'élément de fusible suivant les revendications 1 ou 2, avec une chambre (60, 64) qui est accessible par une ouverture d'introduction frontale et dans laquelle l'élément de fusible (3) peut être introduit le long de son axe longitudinal à travers l'ouverture d'introduction (61), ainsi qu'avec au moins un contact (68, 69), disposé dans le socle et s'étendant dans la chambre, pour le contact associé de l'élément de fusible (3), ainsi qu'avec un dispositif de codage coopérant avec le dispositif de codage (5) de l'élément de fusible, caractérisé par le fait que l'ouverture d'introduction (61) pour l'élément de fusible (3) est accordée à la forme de ce dernier et constitue au moins une partie du dispositif de codage, et que la forme de la projection du passage de l'ouverture d'introduction (61) coïncide avec la forme de la projection de l'élément de fusible (3) muni d'au moins une saillie (6, 81, 82, 100), en direction de son axe longitudinal.
23. Socle suivant la revendication 22, caractérisé par le fait que l'ouverture d'introduction (16) présente un bord tourné vers l'axe longitudinal de la chambre (60) et constituant une partie au moins du dispositif de codage.
24. Socle suivant la revendication 22, caractérisé par le fait qu'au moins l'un de ses contacts (68, 69, 107) se trouve latéralement à côté de l'élément de fusible (3) introduit et que la position et la forme de ce contact (68, 69, 107) sont adaptées à la position de fonctionnement du contact correspondant (8, 9, 104) de l'élément de fusible (3).
25. Socle suivant la revendication 22, caractérisé par le fait que ses deux contacts (68, 69) se trouvent latéralement à côté de l'élément de fusible (3) introduit et que leur position et leur forme sont adaptées aux contacts (8, 9) et à la position de fonctionnement de l'élément de fusible (3).
26. Socle suivant la revendication 22, caractérisé par le fait que la chambre (60, 64) est conformée de manière que l'élément de fusible (3) introduit ou des parties dudit élément puissent tourner de façon limitée dans la chambre (60).

Socle suivant la revendication 22, caractérisé par le fait que le dispositif de codage contient une butée, (72) q'ui pénètre dans la chambre (60, 64), dont la forme, dans laquelle est codée la caractéristique de déclenchement du dispositif de fusion (11), est adaptée à la forme d'un évidement (26) prévu dans l'une des saillies (6) de l'élément de fusible (3) pour coopérer avec ladite butée, et qui se trouve à l'intérieur de la chambre (64) dans le trajet de mouvement de l'évidement correspondant (26) de l'élément de fusible (3), de telle manière qu'une rotation de l'élément de fusible (3) dans la position de contact soit possible uniquement en cas de coïncidence suffisante entre la forme de l'évidement (26) et la forme de la butée (72) et soit sinon bloquée.
28. Socle suivant la revendication 22, caractérisé par le fait que la chambre (64) contient, en dessous de l'ouverture d'introduction (61), un évidement (108) latéral, ouvert vers l'intérieur de la chambre (64), évidement qui se trouve dans le trajet de mouvement de la saillie mobile (101) et dont la forme est adaptée à la forme de la saillie mobile (101) de telle manière qu'un déplacement de la saillie (101) soit possible uniquement en cas de coïncidence suffisante entre la saillie mobile (101) et l'évidement et que le déplacement soit par ailleurs bloqué.
29. Socle suivant la revendication 22, caractérisé par le fait que le bord de l'ouverture d'introduction (61) présente un contour qui est adapté au contour extérieur du côté frontal de l'élément de fusible (3), situé dans l'ouverture d'introduction.

Socle suivant la revendication 29, caractérisé par le fait que l'ouverture d'introduction (61) présente, pour les saillies (6, 51, 52, 81, 82, 85, 86, 100) dépassant du boîtier (4), des évidements (62, 63, 83, 84) qui sont ouverts en direction parallèle à l'axe longitudinal de la chambre (60) et en direction de l'axe longitudinal.

Socle suivant la revendication 22, caractérisé par le fait que l'ouverture d'introduction (61) présente, entre son bord extérieur et la chambre (60), une plaque de codage (79) pouvant être rapportée et présentant au moins un évidement (40) ouvert en direction de l'axe longitudinal du socle (2), s'étendant sur une zone circonférentielle correspondant au codage et aligné avec un évidement (63) qui est prévu dans le bord extérieur de l'ouverture d'introduction (61) et dont l'étendue en direction circonférentielle est égale à l'étendue maximale de l'évidement (60) dans la plaque de codage (79), de telle manière qu'indépendamment du codage, l'élément de fusible inséré se termine chaque fois à ras du socle (2).
32. Socle suivant l'une des revendications précédentes, caractérisé par le fait qu'il fait partie du boîtier, contenant des composants électroniques, d'une barrière de sécurité (1) selon VDE 0170/0171 partie 7.
