Das Gerät wird, wie aus Figur 2 ersichtlich, am Ohr 15 derart getragen, daß es mit seinem Innenbogen an der Rückseite der Ohrwurzel anliegt. Mit dem Haken 4 wird es am oberen Ohransatz festgehalten. Wie aus Figur 3 ersichtlich, kann an der Stirnfläche 16 durch eine Öffnung 17 Schall zu einem Mikrofon 18 gelangen. Dort wird dieser in elektrische Signale umgesetzt, die in einem, im mittleren Teil des Gehäuses 1 liegenden Verstärker 19 in ihrer Intensität gesteigert und schließlich einem Hörer 20 zugeführt werden. Von dort gelangt der aus den verstärkten Signalen erhaltene Schall über eine Leitung 21 in den im Traghaken 4 liegenden Schallleitungskanal 22 (Figur 6).
