Definitions
- the invention relates to a device based on the soil removal principle for underground pre-pressing of pipes, with a support pipe, a screw conveyor arranged therein, carrying a first drilling tool on the driving side and a rotatably mounted on the supporting pipe, which can be driven independently of the screw conveyor with its own drive, concentrically the first drilling tool surrounding further cutting tool.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a device of the generic type. which ensures that the pipes are properly driven even in difficult soil conditions such as cohesive soils and soils interspersed with rock.
- the solution according to the invention is that the further cutting tool, as a cutting ring, forms an inlet cone with the first drilling tool and the corresponding end of the screw conveyor, over which the cutting teeth of the cutting ring extend. Thanks to this design, the two tools together form a throat that is toothed in the outer jacket and tapers inwards.
- frustoconical, hollow pieces can be worked out by the first drilling tool on the screw conveyor, which become thinner towards the rear and break and crumble easily, even under ongoing cutting influence of the cutting teeth in the inlet cone, breaking and crumbling processes occur here continuously and the fragments can then be removed properly together with the remaining overburden moving to the inlet cone by the screw conveyor. Thanks to this design, cohesive soils can also be comminuted without problems according to exactly the same pattern and their overburden and their fragments from possible bridges in such cohesive soils can be fed to the screw conveyor without clogging.
- the reversibility of the cutting ring drive which is provided according to a preferred embodiment, makes it possible to eliminate the fear of seizing of the cutting ring when working, for example, in rock, in that it can be cut free by reversing its drive direction.
- the cutting teeth on the cutting ring not only extend to the outer edge of its end face, but also also extend to its outer casing. In this way, as much cross-sectional area is cut free in the rock or in strongly cohesive soil in any case, that the pipes can be pushed forward with the press linkage.
- the drawing shows a partial longitudinal section of such a device showing the head region of the support tube. the one with the Auger provided drilling tool and further cutting tool in the form of a cutting ring.
- the device for underground pre-pressing of pipes which works according to the soil removal principle, includes a support pipe 1, the front region of interest here being shown in the drawing.
- the front area of a screw conveyor 2, which is arranged in a cladding tube 3, is arranged in the support tube 1. which in turn is arranged in the support tube 1.
- a first product tube is coupled to the support tube 1 in the usual way, and then the next product tube, with appropriate propulsion, etc.
- the tube tour including the support tube 1 is driven in the usual way from the starting pit with a press linkage.
- the front region of the support tube 1 shown is articulated several times pivotably on the rest of the support tube and thus forms a control head which can be controlled precisely in the desired direction of advance via a control device and an actuating device.
- a drilling tool 4 is also fastened for boring out the working face and can be driven to rotate in a predetermined direction by the rotation of the screw conveyor 2.
- the torque required for the drilling tool 4 is applied by the drive of the screw conveyor 2 and transmitted via the screw conveyor train.
- the screw conveyor 2 is composed in the usual way of individual pieces, which are coupled together depending on the length of the respective jacking.
- a cutting ring 5 is now rotatably mounted in the head end of the support tube 1 and is equipped with cutting edges 6 on the end face, the cutting edges 6 being fastened to the cutting ring 5 so that they can be replaced by screws 7.
- the cutting ring 5 itself is fastened by means of screws 8 to an inner toothed body 9 which is rotatably mounted in the head end of the support tube 1 via a roller bearing 10 and whose internal toothing is in engagement with the pinions 11, for example two hydraulic motors 12.
- the hydraulic motors 12 are attached to flanges of the support tube 1 in the head region thereof. The hydraulic motors are actuated and controlled from the starting pit via corresponding supply lines which are carried inside and outside of the tube tour and the support tube 1.
- the cutting edges 6 of the cutting ring 5 are expediently designed in this way. that their teeth cutting on the OnsDrust extend to the outer diameter of the support tube 1.
- This toothing is also expediently provided on the outer jacket of the cutting edges 6, so that, thanks to this configuration, the entire cross-sectional area of the product pipes to be pressed in and the supporting pipe 1 on the face face are cut free, and thus their pre-pressing can be carried out without problems even with rock pieces embedded in the ground or during drilling work in Rock is possible.
- the cutting edges 6 are arranged concentrically at a distance from the drilling tool 4 on the screw conveyor 2. They also define an inner inlet cone 13 tapering towards the central longitudinal axis of the device. This inlet cone 13 continues at the inner wall boundary of the cutting ring 5 and is also provided with teeth here.
- the cutting ring 5 also has an inner and rearward cladding pipe socket 14 surrounding the front end of the screw 2. which is supported and sealed in its rear area against a flange of the support tube 1. The cutting ring 5 is also sealed against the outer ring of the rolling bearing 10 by means of an annular seal 15.
- the direction of rotation of the screw conveyor 2 is predetermined by the fact that its task is to convey the soil drilled or cut by the drilling tool 4 and the cutting edges 6 of the cutting ring 5 from the face to the starting pit.
- the drilling tool 4 necessarily has this direction of rotation.
- the arrangement is such that the cutting ring 5 with the cutting edges 6 normally runs in opposite directions to the drilling tool 4 rotates. This results in an increased relative movement between these processing tools, which facilitates the tearing open of the soil at the local brood and also contributes to the tools not seizing up.
- the drive for the cutting ring 5 together with cutting 6 is also designed as a reversing drive, so that should the cutting ring 5 still seize with the cutting edges 6 when drilling in the rock, a reversal of the direction of rotation is possible, which then immediately results in a clearing the cutting 6 leads.
- the support tube 1 rotates when standing, because the machining tools are seized, performs uncontrolled rolling movements and thus loses its target direction, or else the control becomes inoperable in the case of a controllable pre-pressing device, for example in that a this control device own and in the support tube 1 eccentrically arranged target moves out of the directional beam acting on it.
- a slight twisting of the support tube 1, which has already occurred at the start of the seizing, is compensated for by the reversal of the direction of rotation of the cutting ring 5 with its cutting edges 6 and undone.
