Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical safety connector according to the preamble of claim 1 and is based on FR-A-2 157 379.
- An electrical safety plug connection of the type mentioned at the beginning (FR-A-2 157 379) has two chambers separated from one another by an insulating partition.
- a magnetic component on the plug and a magnetic body inside the socket close the electrical connection as soon as the plug is inserted into the socket. When the plug is pulled out, the magnetic contact is released, so that the contacts within the socket are also disconnected from the mains leads.
- the chambers with this known electrical safety plug connection are arranged one behind the other in the direction of insertion of the plug, the magnet body movably mounted in the socket being located in the front chamber, that is to say in the plug receiving chamber. This magnetic body is coupled via a mechanical connection to an elastic component which has contacting elements connected to the supply leads.
- the magnet body If the plug is inserted into the front plug receiving chamber, the magnet body is attracted and the elastic component is pressed against the contact bridges in such a way that the contact elements come into contact and the plug is thus connected to the power supply lines in an electrically conductive manner.
- the magnetic body which is arranged in the plug receiving chamber, is coupled to a further, elastically designed component via a mechanical and therefore wear-prone coupling member, so that the electrically conductive connection between the plug and the mains is brought about indirectly via the attracted magnetic body.
- auxiliary magnetic bodies for the return of magnetic bodies in safety plug connections are generally known (BE-A-694 071, DE-A-2 643 031), by which it is ensured that the magnetic bodies are returned to their starting position after the plug has been pulled out.
- the object of the invention is to provide an electrical safety plug connection which ensures that, after the plug has been pulled out, each part of the socket which is accessible from the outside is de-energized, that is to say disconnected from the mains.
- the closed chamber is arranged in the plug direction of the plug in the socket vertically below the receiving chamber and receives the movable magnetic body, which normally rests on the chamber floor, is freely movable upwards, in the direction of the power connections and in Direction of the contact bridges pointing electrical connecting elements and only in its upper tightened position connects the contact bridges arranged in the partition to the power supply lines, and that an auxiliary magnetic body for returning the magnetic body to the chamber bottom after removing the plug is arranged below the closed chamber.
- the component carrying the connecting elements in the self-contained chamber has no connection to the upper receiving chamber when the plug is unplugged, it is completely harmless to intervene in this upper chamber, since no supply line leads to it from the network. This ensures absolute safety of the socket and thus of the entire plug connection.
- the current flow from the socket to the consumer is automatically established after inserting the plug into the upper chamber without anyone being able to get to the contact points, since these can be accommodated so that the plug is only fully inserted into the socket the magnetic body is tightened in the self-contained chamber below.
- the magnetic body in the closed chamber can, of course, consist of several separate bodies, each containing one of the connecting elements.
- the plug does not need to be a fully magnetic plug on which corresponding contact strips or plates are arranged over corresponding insulations and come into contact with the contact bridges after the plug has been inserted. It can also be a plug with plug pins, which are arranged on a corresponding magnetic body, possibly penetrating it in an insulated manner. However, the plug pins themselves can also be designed as magnets. It is not important that the magnetic body in the closed chamber is actually a magnet. It can also be a soft iron part which is arranged between the magnetic body of the plug and the auxiliary magnetic bodies, the magnets of course having to be dimensioned in their magnetic force such that this part is attracted in the direction of the plug when the plug is inserted.
- a base 1 there is a recess identified by the boundary line 2 or a corresponding attachment.
- a chamber 3 is formed there, which is self-contained and is closed to the outside after the socket has been fully assembled. Connections +, - and ground M open into this chamber.
- a receiving chamber 4 which is separated from the chamber 3 by a partition 5 in which contact bridges 6, 7 and 8 are arranged.
- the current is supplied via a + line, a - line while being secured by an earth or ground line.
- the principle of the invention is not limited to this, and any type and number of corresponding supply lines, in principle also in AC or three-phase design, are basically conceivable.
- a magnet 9 is provided below the chamber 3.
- a magnetic body 10 is provided in the chamber 3, which is completely closed after assembly, in which isolated contact elements 11, 12 and 13 are provided. 2 also shows at least partially the connections +, - and M.
- Fig. 3 shows the same arrangement after inserting the plug 13, which is inserted in the direction of arrow XIII from the side drawn out, perspective position shown in the chamber 3.
- the plug 13 has contact points 14, 15 and 16 which are connected to wires or strands which are connected in the insulated cable 17 to the consumer, not shown, e.g. a lamp, lead.
- the plug 13 contains a magnetic component 18 which, after the plug 13 has been fully inserted into the chamber 4 (FIGS. 1 and 2), ensures that the magnetic body 10 is attracted upward. The result is that the connections +, - and M (see FIGS.
- the individual contact elements 41, 42, 43 are separated from one another, but are provided with corresponding magnets 44, 45, 46, so that once the plug 47 has been inserted into the chamber 4, these individual contact elements are tightened again and thus the electrical connection to the consumer occurs.
- the auxiliary magnet 49 is optionally designed as a multi-part magnet, as can be seen in the drawing.
- FIGS. 6 to 8 Another embodiment is shown in FIGS. 6 to 8.
- the arrangement of the individual chambers is the same as in the previous embodiments.
- a magnetic part 82 is provided on the connector 81 according to FIG. 8, which is correspondingly insulated from the individual connector pins 83, 84, 85. If this plug is inserted with its magnetic part 81 into the upper receiving chamber, then the magnetic part 81 ensures that the magnetic body 86, which carries the corresponding contact elements, connects the plug pins 83, 84, 85 via the openings 87, 88, 89 into which the plug pins 83, 84, 85 engage.
- An auxiliary magnet 90 is again provided here.
- the connection between the openings 87, 88, 89 or their metallic base or metallic lining lies behind the plane of the drawing and is therefore not visible.
Description
Darin zeigen in
- Figur 1: Eine Frontansicht der Großplatte einer Steckdose;
- Figur 2: Die Ansicht nach Figur 1 mit .in die später dicht zu verschließende Kammer eingesetztem Magnetkörper;
- Figur 3: die Ansicht nach Fig. 2, wobei der in dieser Stellung des Magnetkörpers in die obere Aufnahmekammer eingesetzte Stecker zur besseren Verdeutlichung auch noch seitlich herausgezeichnet perspektivisch dargestellt ist;
- Figur 4: eine der Fig. 2 entsprechende Ansicht einer abgeänderten Ausführungsform;
- Figur 5: eine der Ansicht nach Fig. 3 entsprechende Ansicht der abgeänderten Ausführungsform;
- Figur 6: eine Ansicht einer abgeänderten Ausführungsform;
- Figur 7: eine der Fig. 2 entsprechende Ansicht dieser abgeänderten Ausführungsform;
