Definitions
- the present invention relates to a kit for a drainage channel according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a kit is known from DE-A 2 844 748.
- a four-sided closed cast frame is placed on a U-shaped channel body, preferably made of plastic concrete, which in turn carries the cast iron grate inserted.
- the frame has bevelled surfaces on the outside in such a way that the tapering caused thereby at least makes pulling out of the foundation more difficult.
- this has the disadvantage that the jointing becomes wedge-shaped, which means that the concrete of the covering surface can break out at the edge.
- several anchoring tabs are provided that extend beyond the supporting ribs of the two side walls.
- the two short sides of the frame give the frame as a single installation part the necessary inherent strength and serve to hold the grates, which can neither move in the longitudinal direction nor in the transverse direction. This also allows the frame to be uncovered when the wearing surface is installed later and mounted on a new cage.
- the frames can also be retrofitted to the channel body without reworking the covering.
- the vertical upper outer wall prevents the concrete from breaking out at the edge of the covering surface.
- Fig. 1 the various parts of the kit of a drainage channel are clearly visible, namely a channel body 1, a frame 2 and a grate 3.
- the channel body is cast in one piece from polyester concrete and has lateral anchoring ribs 10, which the better anchoring serve in the foundation.
- openings 12 prepared by weakening points, through which a known anchoring plug can be inserted after the wall section has broken out, in order to thereby achieve an additional anchoring.
- the strength is increased by the frame 2 which can be placed on the channel body 1 and which also represents an edge protection for the channel body 1.
- the bearing surface on the side walls 11 for the frame 2 is step-shaped with an elevated support on the outside rib 13 and an inner deeper shaped shoulder 14 formed. At the lower edge of the support rib 13 projecting beyond the side wall 11 of the channel body, there is a further lateral anchoring rib 15.
- the frame 2 consists of two side parts 20 and two webs 21 connecting the ends of the frame parts 20. These webs 21 give the frame 2 the necessary dimensional rigidity and ensure that the grids 3 are also fixed in the longitudinal direction.
- the side parts 20 are provided with a lower lateral continuous rib 22, with which the anchoring flaps 23 projecting outwards are integrally connected.
- the underside of the side parts 20 each have a groove 25 or 20 at the transition point to the angling tabs 23 and when the guide part 24 of the frame protrudes downward.
- the outer groove 25 causes a notch in the anchoring tabs 23, so that these, as will be described later, can be detached at this predetermined breaking point if necessary.
- the two grooves 25, 26 are produced by grinding a recess into the casting mold for the raised part 27 between the two grooves.
- the anchoring tabs 23 prevent a displacement of the frame 2 in the longitudinal direction.
- the outer surface of the side parts 20 of the frame is at least approximately vertical, the upper surface of the lateral rib 22 is at least approximately horizontal and the transition part between them is rounded. This means that the top layer of the traffic route can be filled up to the frame 2, and no expensive joint tape needs to be used in time-consuming work.
- the grate 3 has, in a known manner, elongated openings 31, arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis, between two side ribs 30.
- the outer surfaces 32 of the side ribs 30 are likewise at least approximately vertical and the lower bearing surfaces 33 are horizontal for resting on the inner shoulder 28 of the frame 2.
- a web 40 in the frame 2 is located approximately in the middle under the grate 3 and has a through hole 41 (FIGS. 3 to 5) for fastening the grate 3 by means of a screw 42.
- the head 43 of the screw 42 is sunk in a recess 34 in the grate 3.
- Under the web 40 there is a bolt 45 screwed to the screw 42 (FIGS. 3-5).
- the ends of the bar 45 engage after rotation in the position shown in the latch holder 44 in the side walls 11 to to hold the grate 3 and the frame 2 on the channel body 1.
- the latch holder 44 is claimed in the parent application No. 112,287 and described in more detail.
- the channel body 1 is cast into a concrete banquet 50. Any dowels are not shown.
- the hot mix support layer (HMT) 51 is flush with the support surface 16 of the support rib 13. If the depression of the shape shoulder 14 is now the same size as that of the support shoulder 28 with respect to the surface of the frame part 20, a grate 3 inserted therein is also flush with the HMT 51.
- the screw 42 By means of the screw 42, the bolt 45 can be turned to engage the two bolt holders 44 and the grating 3 can be fastened by tightening the screw 42.
- the frame 2 when a cover layer 52 is later installed on the banquet 50, the frame 2 can be placed on the channel body 1 instead of the grate 3. If the banquet 50 can be milled out next to the channel body 1, or if a joint tape is installed before the cover layer 52 is installed was inserted into the banquet 50, the frame 2 can be used with anchoring tabs 23, otherwise the anchoring tabs 23 would have to be separated from the frame 2, as shown in FIG. 4. This separation can be done by the groove 25 in a simple manner by means of a hammer, by striking the anchoring tab 23 from above.
- the web 40 of the frame 2 is, as mentioned, provided with a through hole 41.
- the screw 42 is thus inserted through the web 40 and screwed into the bolt 45.
- the grate 3 can thus be attached to the frame 2 and both are rigidly connected to the channel body 1 by means of the bolt 45 and the bolt holder 44.
- FIG. 5 shows the case when an upper support layer 53 is placed on the banquet 50 and then the cover layer 52 on this support layer 53.
- the grate can first be used according to FIG. 2 so that the traffic route can only be used with the banquet 50 3 are placed directly on the channel body 1.
- An attachment element 4 which can be placed on the support surface on the channel body 1 and the same one above Has like support surface, such as the channel body 1, is used to bridge the additional height.
- the attachment element 4 can be designed as a housing closed on four sides or it can have two side walls 61 connected by transverse ribs.
- the frame 2 according to FIG. 3 or 4 can be put on and a longer screw 46 is then used to connect the channel body 1, attachment element 4, frame 2 and grate 3 to one another in the manner described above.
Abstract
The kit consists of a channel body (1), cast frame (2) and cast grate (3). The contact surface of the side walls (11) of the channel body (1) is designed in stages with an elevated support rib (13) on the outside. The frame (2) is rectangular in shape with a recessed support rail (28) as a support for the side ribs (30) of the grate (3). On the outside, the frame (3) has anchoring tabs (23) which can be separated and which prevent the frame (2) from moving when installed. In the side walls (11) there are bolt holders (44) at a distance below the support surface for fastening the grate (3) by means of a screw (42) and a bolt (45). Such a drainage channel can be easily adapted to the different heights with gradual installation of the base and top layer, and it can be easily cast from polyester concrete. It also has several anchoring ribs next to the anchoring tabs, which ensures good anchoring on all sides.
Description
The present invention relates to a kit for a drainage channel according to the preamble of
However, it has shown that the lateral anchoring - approximately overlap, that abut the outer side on the channel body, the deposits can lead to difficulties in a staged installation because then most side kept a groove of the bearing surface or has to be milled.
If the grids were not originally thought to be attached, the recesses could often no longer be broken out, or they had to be chiseled out in a complex manner.
In the case of motorways or the like, heavily used traffic routes, a batch is often already released for traffic, for example for works traffic. This is done when the lower base layer is installed. If road traffic is then to be permitted in a second release stage, this is usually done with the upper base layer installed. Such an upper base layer can up to 10 cm and sometimes thicker. This can no longer be compensated for by simply lifting the frame. However, even if the frame can be placed on the upper base layer to install the final road surface, this has the disadvantages mentioned above with regard to the guide tabs.
It is therefore an object of the invention to improve a drainage channel of the type described in such a way that it meets all requirements with regard to the load-bearing capacity, the ease of installation and the costs for production and installation.
According to the invention, this is achieved by the characterizing features of
Because the anchoring tabs are connected to the frame by a predetermined breaking point, the frames can also be retrofitted to the channel body without reworking the covering. The vertical upper outer wall prevents the concrete from breaking out at the edge of the covering surface.
From DE-A 2 423 285 it is known to provide laterally projecting anchoring tabs on a frame placed on a channel body. In this version, however, the frame is firmly placed on the channel body and the anchoring tabs are accordingly not separable. A gradual build-up is not planned.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing, for example.

In Fig. 1, the various parts of the kit of a drainage channel are clearly visible, namely a
The strength is increased by the
The bearing surface on the
The
The outer surface of the
The same parts are marked with the same reference numbers. Accordingly, the
The
Deckschicht 52.
An attachment element 4, which can be placed on the support surface on the
