Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electrical ignition element with an electrically insulating carrier body which carries an ignition bridge and two electrodes connected to the ignition bridge, of which at least one electrode consists of a layered conductor track.
  • the electrodes mounted in layers on the carrier body are at the same time the connecting elements for connecting discrete components, such as Zener diodes, transistors, resistors or the like.
  • the conductor tracks have connection points at which the legs of the electrical components are soldered on.
  • further conductor tracks can be attached to the carrier body, which serve as connecting lines and for connecting discrete electrical components.
  • an electrical ignition device is known (DE-A-2 840 738), in which both electrodes are designed as surface electrodes which are connected to one another by a narrow conductor strip forming the ignition bridge.
  • the surface electrodes are separated from one another by an insulating cutout in the carrier body and are connected to one another exclusively by the ignition bridge.
  • the electrodes only have the function of current conductors, be it for the purpose of supplying current to the ignition bridge or for supplying current to the components of an electrical circuit which is attached to the carrier body.
  • Protective measures are known for securing ignition elements against unwanted triggering by high-frequency electromagnetic interference signals, see for example GB-A-1 419775.
  • series resistors, filter circuits and the like can be connected to the lines leading to the electrodes of the ignition element. are switched to prevent the transmission of the interference voltages to the ignition element.
  • series resistors have the disadvantage that they not only dampen the high-frequency interference voltages, but also cause a voltage drop in the DC voltage used for ignition, only the high-frequency interference signals are eliminated by frequency filters, while the DC properties of the ignition circuit remain unchanged.
  • the disadvantage of the usual protective circuits, which consist of discrete components, is that line sections lead from the protective circuit to the ignition bridge and that these line sections in turn form receiving antennas that can absorb high-frequency interference voltages. Particularly intensive shielding is therefore required in this area.
  • the invention has for its object to provide an electrical ignition element of the type mentioned, which is protected against high-frequency electromagnetic interference with simple means and effectively, without the need for complex shielding measures.
  • the conductor track is designed as a high-frequency filter.
  • the invention has the advantage that additional discrete components are not required for the implementation of the high-frequency filter and that the high-frequency filter is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the ignition bridge to be protected from high-frequency interference, so that there is no possibility of inducing interference voltages behind or in the high-frequency filter.
  • the ignition element can be realized with simple means and at low cost, since only the shape of one electrode or both electrodes can be changed compared to the existing ignition elements.
  • the electrode or electrode arrangement designed as a high-frequency filter does not have the function of a printed circuit board, but is an integral part of the electrical contacting of the ignition bridge, the filter components being produced by skillfully changing the connecting conductor tracks.
  • the high-frequency filter can either be designed as a band-pass filter or as a high-pass filter, so that the direct current or low-frequency alternating current used for the ignition can pass through the filter undamped.
  • the techniques in which conductor tracks are designed as inductors or capacitors are known from thick-film technology.
  • the conductor track is designed entirely or in sections as a series inductance with respect to the ignition bridge, areas of the conductor track running at substantially constant distances along non-linear paths, for example by B. the conductor track is spiral.
  • the inductance can, for. B. also have the shape of an open loop.
  • a series inductance has a filter effect. The voltage drop across it is proportional to the frequency. Their DC resistance is practically zero.
  • the conductor track having the series inductance can be designed in sections as a series capacitance with respect to the ignition bridge, in that the conductor track is designed geometrically outside the region of the inductance in such a way that regions arise which are opposite one another at a short distance.
  • the separation or interruption of these areas is preferably meandering.
  • a parallel resonant circuit can be formed from a series inductance and a series capacitance, which is in series with the ignition bridge.
  • the conductor track, together with a conductor track of the other electrode forms a parallel capacitance to the ignition bridge, the two conductor tracks running essentially parallel to one another at a close distance.
  • a parallel capacitance has the function of an interference suppression capacitor that short-circuits high-frequency vibrations
  • the ignition or ignition means shown in FIG. 1 has a cylindrical metallic jacket 1, which contains a metallic ground contact ring 2 lying against the inner wall of the jacket.
  • the end 3 of the ground contact ring 2 is bent inwards to form an inner flange.
  • the ground contact ring 2 contains an explosive 4 in the form of an explosive.
  • the primer 4 completely fills the ground contact ring 2 and the opening delimited by the bent end 3.
  • an insulating body 5 is arranged in the jacket 1, which contains a layer element 6 which is in direct contact with the primer 4.
  • the end of the layer element 6 facing away from the primer 4 is in contact with a metallic pole piece 7, likewise enclosed by the insulating housing 5, which protrudes through an opening in the insulating housing 5 and forms the contact to an ignition generator, the jacket 1 connecting the second electrode to the connection represents an ignition generator.
  • the layer element 6 consists of a cylindrical insulating carrier body 8 which has a central bore 9.
  • the first electrode 10 consists of a conductor track which forms a layer covering the upper end face of the carrier body 8, which is subdivided by an interruption 11 of a spiral shape.
  • the interruption 11 forms a spiral strip of several turns, so that the conductor track 10 also has the shape of a spiral, the outer end of which opens into a circle, and the inner end of which runs freely.
  • the second electrode 12 consists of an annular conductor track which is electrically connected via a conductor layer 13 covering the wall of the bore 9 to a contact electrode 14 which covers the underside of the carrier body 8.
  • the ignition bridge 15 extends radially between the inner end of the spiral-shaped first electrode 10 and the annular second electrode 12 and bridges the annular gap between these two electrodes.
  • the ignition resistor 15 is preferably produced using tantalum thin-film technology or applied as a thick-film resistor and is located on a carrier body 8 between the electrodes 10 and 12.
  • the outer ring of the electrode 10 is in surface contact with the bent end 3 of the ground contact ring 2, while the contact electrode 14 is in direct contact with the pole piece 7.
  • the spiral-shaped first electrode 10 forms an inductance, by means of which high-frequency signals are kept away from the ignition bridge 15. In contrast, the inductance does not influence the DC behavior of the ignition circuit.
  • the inductance does not necessarily have to be formed from a spiral conductor track, but it can also have a meandering course, for example.
  • the first electrode 10 is ring-shaped, with radial projections 16 pointing inwards from the ring.
  • the second electrode 12 has the shape of a round disk with radially outwardly pointing projections 17 which engage in the gaps between the projections 16 of the first electrode 10.
  • the two electrodes 10, 12 are separated from one another by a strip-shaped interruption 11 of constant width. As a result, the electrodes form a capacitance.
  • the ignition bridge 15 is located in a wider area between the electrodes 10, 12.
  • the capacitance formed by the electrodes is electrically connected in parallel with the ignition bridge 15 and thus acts as an interference suppression capacitor.
  • the second electrode 12 consists of a ring surrounding the bore 9, while the first electrode or conductor track 10 forms a parallel resonant circuit made of capacitors and inductors connected in parallel.
  • the first electrode 10 has two edge regions 18 lying opposite one another and a central region 19 surrounding the second electrode 12 at a distance.
  • the central region 19 protrudes into each of the edge regions 18, but is one of each of the edge regions meandering opening 11 of constant width separated. This results in regions 27, 28 in the conductor track, which lie opposite one another at a short distance and form the capacitors.
  • the inductors consist of loop-shaped regions 20 which have the shape of open circular rings, one end of which is connected to the edge regions 18 and the other ends of which are connected to the central region 19.
  • the circular opening between the central region 19 of the first electrode 10 and the second electrode 12 is bridged by the ignition bridge 15.
  • FIGS. 5 and 5a are not, as in the previous exemplary embodiments, stratified primers, but rather a squib, ie a wire primer.
  • the first electrode or conductor track 10 has a meandering opening 11 with the regions 29, 30 which are opposite one another at a short distance and form the capacitance.
  • an inductor Arranged parallel to the capacitance is an inductor, which consists of a section 25 in the form of an open conductor loop which runs through an otherwise conductor-free region 26 of the insulating material plate 21.
  • an LC filter is created, the electrical equivalent circuit of which consists of the parallel connection of an inductance and a capacitance which are in series with the ignition bridge 15.
