Definitions

  • the invention relates to a multilayer dewatering screen, in particular for the sheet forming part of a paper machine, of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
  • the longitudinal thread arcs are therefore subject to both the screen tension acting in the longitudinal direction or in the direction of the screen as well as the abrasion or wear on contact with the aforementioned parts of the paper machine. Both are circumstances that negatively influence the sieve run time or sieve life.
  • the connection points of the thicker longitudinal threads of the lower fabric layer are raised or as projections.
  • connection of the comparatively thick longitudinal threads in the upper fabric layer firstly in the upper fabric layer leads to a disturbance in the uniformity of the structure of the top of the screen, which is shown as a screen mark in the paper surface, in two respects, namely by the presence of the additional thread bindings themselves and due to their majesty compared to the other thread bindings in the upper fabric layer, which determine the screen support surface, and secondly in the lower fabric layer leads to incorrect assignments or weak points due to the lack of the longitudinal thread bindings.
  • These defects reduce the stability of the fabric and the durability of the screen.
  • a multi-layer drainage sieve (DE-Gbm 74 38 850), in which a comparatively fine and densely designed upper fabric layer and a comparatively coarse and openly designed lower fabric layer - optionally with the interposition of another fabric layer - via special, separate binding warp threads, i.e. are not part of one of the fabric layers, are connected. These binding warp threads each enclose a weft thread at the connection points in the upper fabric layer and in the lower fabric layer.
  • a double-layered drainage sieve (DE-OS 30 36 409), which avoids separate binding threads and the disadvantages associated with double-layered drainage sieves from an upper and a lower weft or transverse thread layer as well as a warp or longitudinal thread Location is built.
  • the weft threads of these two weft thread layers are arranged in pairs one above the other and the warp threads are all bound in the upper layer and only a part of these warp threads is additionally bound in the lower weft thread layer (the threads of which preferably have a greater thickness than the warp threads).
  • this drainage sieve is a single-layer fabric reinforced in the weft, namely by a so-called undershot system; it differs from the previously mentioned multi-layer drainage screens, which have at least one weft and one warp system per layer.
  • a weft-reinforced single-layer fabric With such a weft-reinforced single-layer fabric, a targeted two-sidedness of the fabric can be achieved to a certain extent.
  • the invention can be based on the object of creating a multi-layer drainage sieve of the type mentioned in the introduction, which overall has a greater fabric stability which increases the sieve runtime and in which the upper side of the sieve and also the underside of the sieve independently of one another and essentially without annoying irregularities at the connection points different conditions placed on them can be designed.
  • a drainage sieve is provided which is and / or transverse direction of the drainage screen has an improved inherent rigidity and stability (and thus a more stable running behavior) and which has practically no difference in the thickness of the drainage screen at the connection points.
  • the upper fabric layer can be specifically adapted to the paper quality to be produced, for example fine and dense, and the lower fabric layer can be made independently of the upper fabric layer with the aim: increasing the running time, increasing the drainage and / or reducing the tendency of the sieve to become contaminated to the respective operating conditions.
  • the lower fabric layer can be made coarse and open using comparatively thick longitudinal and transverse threads. The use of separate binding threads to connect the fabric layers is avoided.
  • the screen has a substantially flat screen surface. Elevations or depressions at the connection points are avoided.
  • the threads that are used for the individual threads that are incorporated in the upper fabric layer are identical to those that are used for the longitudinal or transverse threads of the upper fabric layer. Differences in cross-sectional shape, cross-sectional area and material properties between the longitudinal threads forming the screen surface - be it integrated single threads of the lower fabric layer or be it longitudinal threads of the upper fabric layer - are excluded. It is also essentially ensured that there are practically no strength and stability differences in the areas in which thread bundles are provided as longitudinal or transverse threads, and in the areas which are formed by the other longitudinal or transverse threads not broken down into individual threads.
  • a bundle of threads presents itself as a longitudinal or transverse thread divided into individual threads.
  • Each of the individual threads lying close together in the bundle of threads can be handled separately and independently of the other individual threads of the bundle of threads.
  • the development according to claim 4 ensures that the thread involved in the connection is protected against immediate, premature abrasion.
  • a drainage screen is provided which not only meets the requirements with regard to retention, drainage and / or low marking, but also in the area of the top of the screen
  • the underside of the sieve meets the requirement for a sufficient sieve running time due to the configuration as a cross thread runner.
  • the running side is essentially formed by the cross threads, while the longitudinal threads recede towards the inside of the screen with respect to the tangential plane formed by the cross threads. With such a dewatering screen, the sheet formation surface is unaffected by the attachment points.
  • the integration of a single thread in the upper fabric layer and by simultaneous binding of the replaced thread in a lower fabric layer provides a double connection per connection point, so that increased fabric stability and durability of the connections of the fabric layers and of the drainage screen as a whole can be achieved.
  • the multi-layer drainage screens according to these seven exemplary embodiments are each only a two-layer screen, specifically a drainage screen for the sheet-forming part of a paper machine which is constructed from two woven fabric layers.
  • This paper machine screen is woven from monofilament plastic threads, for example polyester and / or polyamide threads.
  • the threads arranged in the machine direction MD or in the machine direction MD are the so-called longitudinal threads and the threads running transversely to the longitudinal threads in the direction of the CD are the so-called transverse threads.
  • the longitudinal threads are the warp threads which run in the longitudinal direction during the production of the woven fabric, while the transverse threads are the weft threads which are inserted into compartments formed by the tensioned warp threads or be shot.
  • the warp threads in the CD direction and the weft threads in the machine direction MD of the dewatering screen lie. Therefore, in the case of round-woven screens, the warp threads are the so-called transverse threads and the weft threads are the so-called longitudinal threads.
  • 1, 2 and 3 has an upper fabric layer 10 and a lower fabric layer 20.
  • the upper side of the upper fabric layer 10 forms the paper side or upper side of the screen PS, on which the sheet or non-woven fabric is formed from the stock suspension placed on the screen.
  • the underside of the lower fabric layer 20 forms the running side or underside of the screen MS, with which the paper machine screen rests on parts of the paper machine, such as Walien suction and discharge devices, and is moved over these.
  • a single-layer fabric is provided for both fabric layers in the figures. However, double-layer or multi-layer fabrics can also be used.
  • the two fabric layers are deliberately not identical, but with regard to the different requirements, which are placed on the top of the screen PS and on the bottom of the screen MS, designed differently.
  • a comparatively fine and dense fabric is provided as the upper fabric layer 10.
  • This is a single-layer structure made of monofilament plastic threads, for example polyester threads and / or polyamide threads, woven from a longitudinal thread system and a transverse thread system in four-twill weave.
  • the longitudinal and transverse threads have, for example, a thickness or a diameter of 15 mm each with a longitudinal thread density of 46 threads per cm and a transverse thread density of 36 threads per cm.
  • each transverse thread 12 binds with a different longitudinal thread 11, the binding points being arranged at an angle to one another.
  • the longitudinal threads 11 predominate, each of which floats over three transverse threads 12.
  • the upper fabric layer 10 is therefore a longitudinal twill.
  • the lower fabric layer 20 is also woven here from a longitudinal thread system and a cross thread system in four-twill weave.
  • the cross threads 22, each of which float under three longitudinal threads 21, also predominate in the lower fabric layer 20 on the underside, that is the running side or the underside MS of the dewatering screen.
  • the lower fabric layer 20 is thus a longitudinal thread twill or, with regard to the arrangement in the paper machine, a cross thread runner; i.e. the sieve lies or runs on the cross threads.
  • the transverse threads are rubbed in front of the longitudinal threads when - as shown in FIG.
  • the longitudinal threads 21 are set back relative to the tangential plane T intended on the underside of the transverse threads 22 (see z in FIG. 2).
  • the density of the threads and the number of threads per cm are also different in the coarse and openly designed lower fabric layer 20 compared to the upper fabric layer 10.
  • the transverse threads here have a diameter of 0.30 mm and are arranged in a transverse thread density of 18 threads per cm and the longitudinal threads have a thickness or a diameter of essentially 0.30 mm and are in a longitudinal thread density of 23 Thread arranged per cm.
  • each bundle of threads 23 consists of several individual threads 3 (here three individual threads 3 ', 3 ", 3"'), which are aligned in the longitudinal direction, lie tightly packed parallel to one another and are not twisted or twisted. Stitches or gaps are provided between longitudinal threads 21 or between longitudinal threads 21 and thread bundle 23, but not between the individual threads 3 of a thread bundle.
  • the diameter of each of the individual threads 3 is equal to the diameter of a longitudinal thread 11 of the upper fabric layer 10.
  • the thread bundles 23 each have a thickness or a diameter (see D 'in FIG.
  • the individual threads 3, like the longitudinal threads 21 and the transverse threads 22 of the lower fabric layer 20, are monofilament plastic threads, for example made of polyester threads and / or polyamide threads.
  • the upper fabric layer 10 is connected to the lower fabric layer 20 in each case by one of the individual threads 3 of the thread bundle 23. This individual thread 3 is guided over transverse thread 12 and is thus integrated into the upper fabric layer 10.
  • connection points A In the section of the drainage screen according to FIG. 2 there are two connection points A in the specified repeat B-B of the drainage screen. In the present exemplary embodiment, a double or clamp connection is provided at these connection points A.
  • a single thread 3 'in the manner of a longitudinal thread 11 is integrated into the upper fabric layer 10 via three transverse threads 12 and on the other hand is a longitudinal thread 11, namely the one whose place the single thread 3' in has taken up the upper fabric layer 10, around an underlying transverse thread 22 of the lower fabric layer 20 and takes the place of the upward single thread 3 ', in its bundle of threads 23.
  • the longitudinal thread 11 is opposite the underside MS of the two other single threads 3 ", 3" 'which are otherwise arranged set back from the tangent line T (see FIG. 2), shielded.
  • connection points A are located in this first embodiment such that at this point in the lower fabric layer 20, on the one hand, a transverse thread 22 on its side facing the sieve underside MS of a thread bundle 23 or of the individual threads 3 ', 3 ", 3"' of this Thread bundle 23 is undermined and on the other hand above this transverse thread 22 the middle of three transverse thread 12 is arranged.
  • These three transverse threads are crossed on their upper side facing the upper side PS of the screen by a longitudinal thread or by integrated individual threads 3 '.
  • the second and third exemplary embodiments shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 as a longitudinal thread section represent variants of the first exemplary embodiment. They differ from the latter only in the area of the connection points A.
  • the individual threads 3 are not integrated in the upper fabric layer 10 here, but instead only on the transverse thread 12, which is arranged directly above a transverse thread 22, which is crossed or undermined by a bundle of threads 23 on the underside or the underside of the sieve MS. This results in a double or staple connection of the two fabric layers 10, 20, in which the free thread lengths of the longitudinal thread 11 extending between the upper and lower fabric layers 10, 20 are shorter.
  • connection according to the third exemplary embodiment means that the transverse thread 12 arranged next to a floating longitudinal thread floatation over three transverse threads 12 is bound by a single thread 3 ', a certain enlargement of the screen contact surface is given and thus a more closed screen surface is reached in the area of the connection points A.
  • the fourth and fifth exemplary embodiments shown as a longitudinal section in FIGS. 6 and 7 differ from the preceding exemplary embodiments primarily in the type of connection.
  • the double or staple connection instead of the double or staple connection to be provided as a rule, there is only a single connection at the connection points A by a single thread 3 in the upper fabric layer 10.
  • the individual thread (s) 3 'integrated in the upper fabric layer 10 also assume the position of a longitudinal thread 11 in the fourth and fifth embodiment in the upper fabric layer 10.
  • An exchange of a longitudinal thread 11 by a single thread 3 'therefore also takes place here at the connection points A.
  • the "exchanged" longitudinal thread 11 is not integrated into the lower fabric layer 20; rather, this longitudinal thread 11 is guided along the underside of the upper fabric layer 10 between the upper and lower fabric layers 10, 20.
  • a disturbance of the upper side of the screen PS by the integrated individual threads 3 does not occur in these exemplary embodiments as in the three other exemplary embodiments mentioned above.
  • the individual threads are only bound via three adjacent transverse threads 12 - i.e. via longitudinal thread floating - as in the first exemplary embodiment (FIG. 2)
  • the fifth exemplary embodiment (FIG. 7) the individual threads 3 are connected via two longitudinal thread floating having included route, so that there is a denser arrangement of longer connection areas.
  • connection of the upper fabric layer 10 and the lower fabric layer 20 at each attachment point takes place exclusively via individual threads 3 or 3 ', 3 ", 3'" of thread bundles 23 running in the longitudinal direction MD of the sieve, each of which is connected to the A longitudinal thread 21 has occurred in the lower fabric layer 20.
  • the two fabric layers 10, 20 are connected by means of individual threads 3 or 3 ', 3 ", 3"' of thread bundles 23 running in the transverse direction CD of the sieve, each of which takes the place of a transverse thread 22 in the lower fabric layer 20 to have.
  • connection is perceived only by individual thread 3 running in the transverse direction CD.
  • the sixth exemplary embodiment not some of the longitudinal threads but rather some of the transverse threads 22 are formed as thread bundles 23 and their individual threads 3 are used to connect and connect the fabric layers 10, 20.
  • a combined, particularly stabilizing connection is provided. Because here there is a connection by means of individual threads 3 or 3 ', 3 ", 3'" running in the transverse direction CD (see FIGS. 8 and 9), as well as a connection by means of individual threads 3 or 3 ', 3 ", running in the longitudinal direction MD. , 3 '"are used.
