Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for thermal insulation and air conditioning of structural devices, in particular windows or the like, with a first driven winding device arranged on a first end for a rollable flexible wall and a deflection device arranged at the second end.
- Such devices which are designed like roller blinds, are used for internal and external thermal insulation, sun protection and privacy protection.
- a large proportion of the heat loss or heat build-up in buildings is caused by the windows. While there is good thermal insulation inside and outside on the outer walls, the insulation on windows - even with double glazing - is considerably worse.
- the heat transfer surfaces for example window surfaces, either allow or block the heat transfer in a valve-like manner.
- the window surface serves as a solar collector and should provide the best possible insulation to the outside.
- different properties with regard to the heat transfer of a window surface are desirable.
- a known roller blind (OE-PS 301 827) consists of a winding device, a film web and a support rod for the end of the film web.
- the film web runs in the form of a sagging loop, in which a deflection roller is arranged, which keeps the film web tensioned in the longitudinal direction due to its weight. Due to the deflection, this rolling curtain is always brought into the beam path of light and heat radiation in two layers, whereby either the entire window area to be covered or only a part of it can be covered by the rolling curtain. With such a roller blind, the air chamber on the side edges of the film web cannot be adequately sealed.
- Each film web is deflected at the lower end of the device by a respective deflection roller, the outer film web being able to accommodate further film webs inside, one of which likewise has a deflection roller lying in a loop, but which is smaller in diameter than that of the outer film web.
- the deflection rollers with the different diameters ensure a minimum distance between the deflected film web parts. At the same time, their weight tightens the curtain lengthways.
- the invention has for its object to provide a device of the type mentioned, which optionally generates a different number of tightly closed air chambers with a single flexible wall.
- the solution to this problem is characterized in that the deflection device is mounted fixed at the second end, that a second winding device is provided which can be rotated simultaneously with the first winding device, that the edges of the flexible wall are guided in lateral guide rails and that the flexible wall has an opening on part of its length.
- each individual path of the deflected flexible wall can be guided laterally over the entire height.
- One strand of the flexible wall is always contained in the guide rails. In the case of a flexible wall in the form of a continuous path, this would mean that all the chambers formed by the deflection of the flexible wall are constantly closed. In order to be able to selectively open one or more air chambers, the opening is provided which is laterally delimited by strip-shaped strands of the flexible wall. These strands extend continuously over the entire length of the flexible wall and are guided in the guide rails.
- the two winding devices are preferably arranged at the same end.
- a larger box for receiving the winding device is only required at one end of the device, while only the deflection device is located at the opposite end.
- the distance between the two winding devices can be smaller than the sum of the maximum radii of the wound rolls of the flexible wall.
- the wound-up reel of one winding device can engage in the winding area of the other winding device, which is then completely or partially unwound, thereby advantageously saving space.
- At least two pairs of deflection rollers are arranged at the second end and at least one pair of deflection rollers is arranged at the first end.
- the flexible wall has wall guide profiles on its longitudinal edges. These ensure that the flexible wall slides smoothly both in the side guide rails and that it winds up smoothly on the winding devices.
- the flexible wall guide profiles can be extended as a leader and trailer beyond the respective web material end. While the web material that is is between the wall guide profiles, is interrupted, ie does not extend over the entire length of the flexible wall, the wall guide profiles are continuous. With a corresponding length of the leader, even with repeated deflection of the flexible wall, it can be achieved that the web material can be completely wound up.
- the wall guide profile consists of two protective strips, which form a slot for receiving the flexible web material, and a thickening flattened on both sides parallel to the web material on the side facing away from the slot.
- the protective strips prevent the web material from getting caught in the guide rails and at the same time protect the web material.
- the fact that the thickenings of the wall guide profile are flattened on both sides parallel to the flexible wall means that they can be superimposed more easily when they are wound up.
- the thickening can have an approximately centrally inserted reinforcing core for absorbing tensile forces. In this way, there is no danger that the wall guide profiles and the wall material will be overstretched under tensile loads, especially when starting the device.
- the thickening of the wall guide profile consists of a honeycomb-shaped hexagon profile.
- the wall guide profile can be laterally displaceable in the plane of the flexible wall in the guide rail. In this way, stretching of web material due to the effects of heat can be absorbed.
- guide elements for receiving the wall guide profile are located in the guide rails designed as hollow profiles, which are supported with tensioning elements on the slot edges of the guide rails. In this way, the web material can be held under transverse tension even if the web material has expanded due to the action of heat.
- the peripheral surfaces of the deflecting rollers can be profiled to accommodate the film guide profile. This ensures in an advantageous manner that the flexible wall cannot swing out of the roller guides.
- An advantageous development of the invention is that at least one of a Umlenkrollencrue D is assigned to ruck pair of rollers, which determines the course of a leading strand to the deflection roller pair of wall guiding profiles.
- a Umlenkrollencrue D is assigned to ruck pair of rollers, which determines the course of a leading strand to the deflection roller pair of wall guiding profiles.
- FIG. 1 shows an application of the device for thermal insulation on a window surface.
- an upper box 3 with winding devices for a flexible wall 1 and a lower box 11 with deflection and drive devices are provided for receiving the device above the window opening.
- the window opening is delimited by two window panes 2, which leave a space 30 between them into which the flexible wall 1 can be inserted one or more times.
- the flexible wall 1 consists of a flexible web material 28 (film) and wall guide profiles 27 which delimit the web material 28 on its longitudinal edges on both sides.
- the web material 28 consists of different materials 28, 28b, 28c, 28d, which are lined up in series, with different transparency, reflection and absorption properties. The order of the materials can be adapted so that special combinations of the web material 28 can be brought into the intermediate space 30 in different webs.
- the wall guide profiles 27 are each extended beyond the end of the flexible web material 28 and thereby form a leader 25 and a trailer 26. In the area of the leader 25 and the leader 26 there are the openings 25 'and 26', respectively, of the web material 28 are free.
- the protective strip 61 has a slot 62 in which the web material 28 is fastened.
- the honeycomb thickened portion 63 is located on the side of the protective strip 61 which faces away from the web material 28.
- the thickening is 63 in for absorbing tensile forces provided approximately in the middle with a reinforcing core 64.
- the honeycomb structure of the thickening ensures, by the surfaces 65 parallel to the web material 28, a perfect superimposition of several wall guide profiles 27 when winding up, and a constant distance between individual layers of the flexible wall 1, so that the web material 28 cannot touch during winding.
- the other, obliquely extending sides of the honeycomb thickening 63 also allow centering of the wall guide profile in all guide devices.
- the guide devices include two guide rails 36 according to FIG. 4, which laterally delimit the space 30 in the area of the window panes 2 and enable the flexible wall 1 to be guided in a straight line via the wall guide profiles 27 which slide in the guide rails.
- the guide rails 36 consist of hollow profiles, each of which has four guides 36a, 36b, 36c, 36d in the exemplary embodiment.
- Each of the guides consists of a chamber 72 with a longitudinal slot 60.
- the protective strip 61 of the wall guide profile 27 is always in the slots 60 of the guides 36a, 36b, 36c, 36d. It is important to keep the web material 28 tensioned in the guides of the guide rails 36, since the web material 28 can expand considerably in the light and heat radiation beam path due to the action of heat, so that the web material 28 can have an uneven position with warping if the web material is not tensioned. This is particularly undesirable if the web material 28 consists of transparent films, since this changes the refraction of light and the view to the outside is distorted.
- the two spring motors 40, 50 work in opposite directions to each other, so that the flexible wall 1 between the rollers 4, 5 is always kept taut.
- the guide, pressure and deflection rollers 6 to 10 and 12 to 15 are symmetrical, that is, arranged in pairs at a distance from the width of the flexible wall 1. With the exception of the deflection rollers 13 driven by an electric motor 76, they have no continuous shafts, but are each on the side Walls 75 of the upper box 3 and the lower box 11 are axially displaceably mounted on stationary pins 78. In this way, possible changes in width of the flexible wall 1 can be absorbed not only by the guide elements 70 in the guide rails 36, but also by the guide, pressure and deflection rollers.
- the flexible wall 1 unwound from the roller 4 is first fed to the guide rollers 10, which have the task of converting the different tangential inlet and outlet angles of the flexible wall 1, which are dependent on the winding diameter, into a constant inlet or outlet angle.
- the guide roller 10 guides the flexible wall 1 into the first guides: 36.a of the guide rails 36.
- a wiping and antistatic brush 35 is arranged transversely to the guide rails 36 and parallel to the web material plane.
- One half of the wiping and antistatic brush 35, which is divided parallel to the flexible wall 1, is arranged in front of or behind the flexible wall 1, so that it cleans the web material 28 on both sides when it enters the first guides 36a and discharges it electrostatically.
- the window panes 2 and the guide rails 36 together form the parallelepiped-shaped space 30 through which the tracks 51 to 54 of the flexible wall 1 are guided back and forth several times.
- there are four in the guide rails 36 Guides 36a, 36b, 36c, 36d are provided, so that the intermediate space 30 can be subdivided with a maximum of four tracks 51 to 54, this to form heat-insulating air chambers outwards and inwards with the window panes 2, laterally with the guide rails 36 and upwards and is sealed below with the upper box 3 and the lower box 11.
- the flexible wall 1 enters the lower box 11, in which the deflection rollers 12 and 13 with the respective pressure rollers 14 and 15 are arranged so that the axes of the pressure and deflection rollers lie on an imaginary line a, which is inclined against the course of the parallel tracks 51 to 54.
- the pressure and deflection rollers 12 to 15 are arranged to save space almost one above the other, so that these rollers can have a larger diameter than the gaps between the tracks 51 to 54.
- the centers of the axes of the deflection and pressure rollers 12 to 15 are such along the imaginary line a offset by the center points of the axes so that the running and running paths of the flexible wall 1 run exactly into the spaced guides 36a, 36b, 36c, 36d of the guide rails 36.
- the pressure and deflection rollers 12 to 15 all have the same diameter, so that the peripheral speeds of all rollers are the same.
- the direction of rotation of adjacent rollers is opposite to each other.
- the deflection and pressure rollers 12 to 15 arranged in the lower box 11 additionally have a toothed ring 17 on their circumference and in addition to the profiling 16 and are coupled to one another via the toothed rings.
- the deflection rollers 13, which are connected to one another with a shaft 77, are driven via an electric motor 76 with a reduction gear, which can be switched in its direction of rotation and which is attached to the outside of the lower box 11, via this shaft 77, which is mounted in the lateral outer walls 75. Via the toothing 17 of the deflection and pressure rollers 12 to 15 all these rollers are inevitably driven.
- the ends of the guide rails 36 projecting into the lower box 11 run obliquely to the parallel tracks 51 to 54, and are essentially the inclination of the imaginary line a, which is defined by the axes of the pushing and Deflection rollers 12 to 15 runs, adapted. It is thereby achieved that the flexible wall 1 runs into the guides 36a, 36b, 36c, 36d immediately after the tangential lifting off from the deflection and pressure rollers 12 to 15.
- the flexible wall emerging from the first guides 36a is deflected via the pressure rollers 14 and the deflecting rollers 12 and fed to the guide rails 36, the flexible wall 1 running into the guides 36b.
- the flexible wall 1 again passes into the upper box 3, in which the deflection rollers 6 and the pressure rollers 7 and 8 are arranged on a second imaginary line b through their axes, which runs parallel to the first imaginary line a.
- the deflection rollers 6 is still a guide roller 9 in engagement via the wall guide profiles 27, the axis of which is not on the imaginary line b.
- the guide, pressure and deflection rollers 6 to 10 in the top box 3 have similar diameters to the pressure and deflection rollers 12 to 15 in the bottom box 11 and are provided with the profiling 16 on their circumference. In contrast to the pressure and deflection rollers 12 to 15, however, they do not have a ring gear 17 in addition to the profiling 16.
- the flexible wall 1 emerging from the guides 36b is directed via the deflection roller 6 and the pressure roller 7 into the guides 36c and from there in the lower box 11 via the pressure rollers 15 and the deflection rollers 13 into the last guides 36d introduced.
- the flexible wall 1 passes over the pressure rollers 8 and 7 and the guide roller 9 to the roller 5, where it is wound up.
- the guide rollers 9, similar to the guide rollers 10, have the task of ensuring a constant inlet or outlet angle in relation to the pressure rollers 7, since this otherwise depends on the thickness of the roll on the roller 5.
- the roller 5, like the roller 4, is dimensioned such that it can accommodate the entire rollable part of the flexible wall 1.
- ventilation slots 20 for the supply air are provided in the lower box 11 on the underside thereof and 3 ventilation slots 21 for the exhaust air are provided in the upper region of the upper box.
- the ventilation slots 20, 21 can also be closed to prevent air circulation.
- connections for air channels can also be provided enable targeted ventilation of the intermediate space 30, possibly controlled by sensors. In summer, for example, warm air can be discharged to the outside from the air chambers formed by the webs 51 to 54 or fed to a heat pump.
- the flexible wall 1 initially wound up on the roller 4 is unwound in one direction of rotation of the motor .
- the spring motor 40 which is relaxed when the roll 4 is wound up, is tensioned.
- the flexible wall passes from the roller 4 via the guide rollers 10 into the first guides 36a of the guide rails 36 and from there to the driven pressing and deflecting rollers 14, 12.
- the wall guide profiles 27 of the flexible wall 1 wrap a large part of the circumference of this pressure - And deflection rollers, in particular the deflection rollers 12 and 13.
- the flexible wall 1 After deflection by the deflection rollers 12, the flexible wall 1 reaches the guides 36b, is deflected in the top box by the deflection rollers 6 and the pressure rollers 7 into the guides 36c and finally deflected in the bottom box 11 by the pressure rollers 15 and the deflection rollers 13 into the guides 36d . After leaving the deflection rollers 13, the tensile forces for transport the flexible wall 1 in the direction of the roller 5 is no longer applied by the drive motor 76 but by the spring motor 50, which is tensioned in the unwound state of the roller 5.
- the flexible wall 1 After exiting the guides 36d, the flexible wall 1 is deflected via the pressure rollers 7, 8 and reaches the roller 5 via the guide rollers 9, where it is wound up with the aid of the spring motor 50.
- the direction of rotation of the drive motor 76 is reversed, the direction of movement of the flexible wall 1 can be reversed, the roller 5 unwinding and its spring motor 50, which is now working against the drive motor 76, tensing.
- the tensioned spring motor 40 With the help of the tensioned spring motor 40, the roll 4 winds up the flexible wall 1 entering via the guide rolls 10.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for thermal insulation and air conditioning of structural devices, in particular windows or the like, with a first driven winding device arranged on a first end for a rollable flexible wall and a deflection device arranged at the second end.
Such devices, which are designed like roller blinds, are used for internal and external thermal insulation, sun protection and privacy protection. A large proportion of the heat loss or heat build-up in buildings is caused by the windows. While there is good thermal insulation inside and outside on the outer walls, the insulation on windows - even with double glazing - is considerably worse. Depending on which outside temperature in relation to If the room temperature is perceived as pleasant, it would be desirable if the heat transfer surfaces, for example window surfaces, either allow or block the heat transfer in a valve-like manner. For example, in summer when the sun is shining, it is desirable to have a high reflection of sunlight from the outside and the best possible insulation to the inside, while in winter when the sun is shining, the window surface serves as a solar collector and should provide the best possible insulation to the outside. However, due to the alternation of day and night conditions, different properties with regard to the heat transfer of a window surface are desirable.
A known roller blind (OE-PS 301 827) consists of a winding device, a film web and a support rod for the end of the film web. The film web runs in the form of a sagging loop, in which a deflection roller is arranged, which keeps the film web tensioned in the longitudinal direction due to its weight.
There is also known a multi-panel thermal curtain (US Pat. No. 4,313,484) which can be spread out in front of a window or door surface and which has openings at its lower end through which the air flowing in from the curtain formed air chambers is located, can flow out when rolling up the curtain. The curtain itself is made of a material that automatically inflates in a balloon-like manner when temperature differences occur, so that the volume of the air chambers is increased and the air therein forms a thick, heat-insulating layer. Each film web is deflected at the lower end of the device by a respective deflection roller, the outer film web being able to accommodate further film webs inside, one of which likewise has a deflection roller lying in a loop, but which is smaller in diameter than that of the outer film web. The deflection rollers with the different diameters ensure a minimum distance between the deflected film web parts. At the same time, their weight tightens the curtain lengthways. These known curtains also do not allow sufficient sealing of each individual air chamber with fixed edge guides.
The invention has for its object to provide a device of the type mentioned, which optionally generates a different number of tightly closed air chambers with a single flexible wall.
The solution to this problem is characterized in that the deflection device is mounted fixed at the second end, that a second winding device is provided which can be rotated simultaneously with the first winding device, that the edges of the flexible wall are guided in lateral guide rails and that the flexible wall has an opening on part of its length.
Characterized in that the deflection device is mounted fixed at the second end, each individual path of the deflected flexible wall can be guided laterally over the entire height. One strand of the flexible wall is always contained in the guide rails.
The two winding devices are preferably arranged at the same end. Here, a larger box for receiving the winding device is only required at one end of the device, while only the deflection device is located at the opposite end.
The distance between the two winding devices can be smaller than the sum of the maximum radii of the wound rolls of the flexible wall. The wound-up reel of one winding device can engage in the winding area of the other winding device, which is then completely or partially unwound, thereby advantageously saving space.
In a preferred exemplary embodiment, at least two pairs of deflection rollers are arranged at the second end and at least one pair of deflection rollers is arranged at the first end. This has the advantage that the flexible wall can be introduced several times into the beam path of the light and heat radiation. The distances between the individual parallel sections of the flexible wall can also be expediently set with the deflecting roller pairs, so that chambers of the same as well as different thickness can be provided.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the flexible wall has wall guide profiles on its longitudinal edges. These ensure that the flexible wall slides smoothly both in the side guide rails and that it winds up smoothly on the winding devices.
The flexible wall guide profiles can be extended as a leader and trailer beyond the respective web material end.
An advantageous development of the invention provides that the wall guide profile consists of two protective strips, which form a slot for receiving the flexible web material, and a thickening flattened on both sides parallel to the web material on the side facing away from the slot. The protective strips prevent the web material from getting caught in the guide rails and at the same time protect the web material. The fact that the thickenings of the wall guide profile are flattened on both sides parallel to the flexible wall means that they can be superimposed more easily when they are wound up.
The thickening can have an approximately centrally inserted reinforcing core for absorbing tensile forces. In this way, there is no danger that the wall guide profiles and the wall material will be overstretched under tensile loads, especially when starting the device.
In an advantageous embodiment, the thickening of the wall guide profile consists of a honeycomb-shaped hexagon profile.
The wall guide profile can be laterally displaceable in the plane of the flexible wall in the guide rail. In this way, stretching of web material due to the effects of heat can be absorbed.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, guide elements for receiving the wall guide profile are located in the guide rails designed as hollow profiles, which are supported with tensioning elements on the slot edges of the guide rails. In this way, the web material can be held under transverse tension even if the web material has expanded due to the action of heat.
The peripheral surfaces of the deflecting rollers can be profiled to accommodate the film guide profile. This ensures in an advantageous manner that the flexible wall cannot swing out of the roller guides.
An advantageous development of the invention is that at least one of a Umlenkrollenpaare D is assigned to ruck pair of rollers, which determines the course of a leading strand to the deflection roller pair of wall guiding profiles. With the help of the pressure roller pairs, it is possible to reduce the distance between the individual webs of the flexible wall, and thus to reduce the space required for the formation of several chambers in the beam path of the light and heat radiation.
Further advantageous features of the invention can be found in

The embodiment shown in Fig. 1 shows an application of the device for thermal insulation on a window surface. For this purpose, an upper box 3 with winding devices for a
The wall guide profiles 27 are each extended beyond the end of the
The wall guide profiles, which hold the
In the starting position shown in Fig. 1, the predominant part, i.e. the trailer as well as the entire part of the
The guide, pressure and
The
The
Via the
The deflection and
The ends of the guide rails 36 projecting into the
The flexible wall emerging from the
The
For ventilation of the
When the device is actuated via the
