Description

The invention relates to a heat-insulating curtain consisting of at least two spaced-apart curtain webs that can be inserted into a curtain opening and with lateral guide rails for receiving the side edges of the unwound curtain webs, which can be unwound together from a roller via guide elements and have weight weights at their end facing away from the roller.

To a large extent, the heat losses in buildings are caused by the windows. While the outer walls provide good thermal insulation, the heat losses at windows - even with double glazing or multiple glazing - are many times higher. The basic aim of building technology is therefore to create window areas that let in a lot of light during the day and, depending on the outside weather, shield or absorb heat radiation, and vice versa at night, e.g. in winter, to provide thermal insulation, these diverse tasks cannot be performed by the window surfaces alone. Rather, special curtain techniques are used for this, which are suitable for window surfaces or for entire facades and which allow a maximum degree of adaptation to the climatic conditions.

With curtains in which several curtain sheets are wound on a roller, the problem arises that the length of the individual curtain sheets can only be adapted for one position of the curtain.

In a known rolling curtain (DE-PS 29 34 674) made of a thick, foam-laminated soft foam sheet, and a decorative curtain sheet, which is wound together with the soft foam sheet on a roller, the length of the sheets is only adapted exactly for the rolled-out state . When rolling up, the curtain sheet lying further outside in relation to the roll axis is then wound up faster, since the effective roll diameter for it is always larger than for curtain sheets lying further inside. As a result, the entire curtain can only be rolled up until the most wound curtain sheet - in this case the decorative curtain sheet - threatens to slide out of the upper guide elements or hits a stop. The soft foam sheet itself is then not yet completely rolled up and, because of its thickness, has also warped in the vertical direction for the reasons mentioned above, so that its lower wide edge does not exactly close off.

The invention has for its object to provide a curtain of the type mentioned, in which in the region of the curtain opening in both end positions of the curtain with respect to the optical effect a clean conclusion of the curtain is made possible.

To achieve this object, it is provided according to the invention that a slot box is arranged at the upper and / or lower end of the curtain opening, the slots for the passage of the individual curtain sheets and their weight weights and its extension in the longitudinal direction of the curtain sheets is so large that it does not interconnected ends of the differently developed curtain sheets at the same time.

The slit box advantageously enables the unavoidable uneven termination of the end edges of individual curtain webs that are co-wound in one of the extreme positions of the curtain to be blended so that the uneven termination is not visible.

If the ends of the curtain sheet are uneven when the curtain is wound up, it is provided that the slit box is arranged at the upper end of the curtain opening and is dimensioned such that the end of the least wound curtain sheet is completely in the slit box when the end of the most wound curtain sheet is just in the upper end position.

Such a slotted box enables the ends of the curtain sheets to be received while they are still guided by the guide rollers, and also allows the curtain sheets to be wound onto the roller.

If the ends of the curtain sheets are unevenly finished in the unwound state, it is provided that the slot box is arranged at the lower end of the curtain opening and is dimensioned such that the end of the least unwound curtain sheet is in the slot box when the end of the most unwound curtain sheet is in is its lower end position. This prevents sensitive curtain sheets from being scratched or kinked.

The slot boxes can have dividing walls running parallel to the extended curtain sheets, which together with the slot box form separate slot box chambers with a slot for each of the individual curtain sheets. As a result, a convective separation in the manner of a labyrinth seal between the individual curtain sheets in the slot boxes is advantageously achieved.

Durch die Abdichtung des Schlitzkastens bilden die einzelnenA preferred exemplary embodiment is characterized in that the slot box is sealed and that at least the respective outer slots of the slot box have sealing elements which extend over the entire slot width and the outer guide rails extend over the entire length of the rail and which abut the respective curtain tracks on both sides. By sealing the slot box form the individual

Curtain tracks together with the slotted box and the guide rails create an airtight, closed space that has a particularly insulating effect due to the prevented air exchange. All slots and guide rails can have sealing elements, so that several separate air chambers are formed, or only the respective outer slots and guide rails. In this case, a common air chamber is divided by the curtain sheets. It is important that this air chamber is closed to the outside by the sealing elements in the outer slots and guide rails.

In an advantageous embodiment, it is provided that the slots have cleaning and / or antistatic elements over the entire slot width, which abut the respective curtain sheets on both sides. In this way, contamination of the curtain sheets is effectively prevented.

An advantageous development of the invention provides that the guide rails are hollow profiles and that the weights are attached to the side edges of the curtain sheets projecting into the guide rails in the vicinity of the lower ends. In this simple way, the weighting weights that are necessary for the curtain to fall properly are concealed so that they are not visible to the viewer.

It is preferably provided that the interior of the guide rails are connected to the interior of the slot box. As a result, the curtain tracks are also guided securely in the slotted boxes, in particular in the slotted box arranged at the upper end of the curtain opening, without threading problems arising during the transition between the guide rails and the slotted box.

In addition, the weighting weights can be connected to each other by a stiffening rail. As a result, the tensile load on the individual curtain sheets spreads evenly over the entire width of the curtain sheet and facilitates the passage of the curtain sheets through the sealing lips of the slots in the slot boxes.

In Figs. 1, 4, 5 and 6 each show a window 1 which is delimited by an outer wall 2 of a building. Inside the building, behind the window in the curtain opening 3, there is the heat-insulating curtain, which consists of several parallel, film-like and transparent curtain sheets 30, 31, 32, 33. These webs can be wound together on a roller 4, one on top of the other. The roller 4 is arranged at the upper end of the curtain opening 3 and supported with its ends in a holding device 5, which at the same time forms a box for receiving the roller 4. This box is attached to the wall or ceiling of the room.

The holding device 5 designed as a box has a slotted bottom 14 with slits for the passage of the webs 30 to 33. Above these slots are the guide rollers 6, which are rotatably mounted cylinders, each of which serves to deflect one of the curtain tracks 30 to 33. The axes of these guide rollers 6 run parallel to the axis of the roller 4. They have the same length as the roller 4 and are arranged laterally next to it, but slightly offset downwards.

Die Dichtungselemente 10 bestehen beispielsweise aus Bürsten oder flexiblen Dichtlippen, die den Wänden derThe lateral web edges are guided in the region of the curtain opening 3 in the stretched state of the curtain webs 30 to 33 in vertical guide rails 9, which close off the air chambers formed by the curtain webs in the unwound state on the front edges and have the edge seals 10 which are opposite Lean the sides against the curtain sheets. The air chambers are consequently delimited by the curtain sheets and the edge seals and can additionally be sealed at the upper and lower ends of the curtain opening. Due to the lack or little air exchange, the air chambers have a particularly insulating effect. The guide rails 9 extend in a straight line in FIG. 1 from the holding device 5 which forms the upper boundary of the curtain opening 3 to a slot box 11 which forms the lower boundary of the curtain opening. The guide rails 9 are - seen in cross section - hollow profiles which have a longitudinal slot delimited by sealing elements 10. Through this slot, the lateral end of the web in question protrudes into the interior of the hollow profile, so that the web edges are arranged in the interior of the guide rails 9. The lateral web guidance takes place between the sealing elements 10. The sealing elements 10 consist, for example, of brushes or flexible sealing lips that cover the walls of the

Guide rails 9 are formed. The four guide rails 9 on each side of the curtain are formed from a one-piece profile, two adjacent guide rails each having only a single partition. In this way, the air chambers are sealed off on the sides in order to retain the air in them, so that a standing air cushion is formed in each air chamber.

In Fig. 1, the slot box 11 is arranged at the end of the curtain opposite the roller 4. The slot box 11 has a slotted top wall 12, which has a slot 20 to 23 adapted in width and length essentially to the respective curtain sheet 30 to 33 for each curtain sheet. According to FIG. 2, the slots 20 to 23 have sealing elements 13 over the entire width of the slot, which bear against the respective curtain sheets 30 to 33 on both sides. These sealing elements 13 also consist of brushes or flexible sealing lips. It may also be sufficient to provide these sealing elements 13 only in the respective outer slots. In this way, all of the air chambers are closed to the outside. The height of the slot box 11 according to FIG. 1 is dimensioned such that the end of the most unwound curtain sheet 33 does not build up at the end of the slot box 11 when the end of the least unwound curtain sheet 30 is still outside the slot box 11.

The lower ends of the curtain sheets 30 to 33 are each provided with a weighting device, which consists of two weighting weights 7 on the side edges of the curtain sheets 30 to 33 and a stiffening rail 8, which runs at the end of the curtain sheets across their entire width, a straight-line termination of the lower Edge of the curtain sheets and rigidly connects the two weights 7 together. The weighting weights 7 run within the guide rails 9 and are therefore not visible. They can slide freely into the slot box and do not need to penetrate the sealing elements 13 at the slots 20 to 23 at the entry point, which only extend as far as the sealing elements 10 of the guide rails 9. The stiffening rail 8 enables an exact alignment of the curtain sheets 30 to 33 and a perfect immersion in the slots 20 to 23 of the slot box 11. Under the influence of the weighting weights, the sealing elements 13 give in to let the stiffening rail through, and lie sealingly after passing through the end of the curtain sheet from both sides to the respective curtain sheets 30 to 33. Each of the weighting weights 7 represents a hexagon in the vertical cross section running transversely to the curtain sheet, in which the sides parallel to the curtain sheets are elongated compared to the other four oblique sides of equal length.

The stiffening rail 8 is U-shaped and is connected to the curtain track end by clamping. The lower edge of the stiffening rail is preferably V-shaped in order to facilitate the opening and folding of the sealing lips over the entire width of the slot 20 to 23 when the curtain sheets are immersed in the slot box 11.

The embodiment of FIGS. 4 and 5 show a slotted box 11 in the upper region of the curtain opening. In this case, the lengths of the individual curtain sheets are matched to one another in such a way that the curtain sheets terminate at the same level in the extended state. Since the ends of the individual curtain sheets 30 to 33 do not terminate at the same height in the wound state, the slot box 11 is arranged at the upper end of the curtain opening 3. The weighting weights 7 are not visible in FIG. 4 because they are located in the guide rails 9.

Fig. 5 zeigt den Vorhang im aufgewickelten Zustand. Fig. 5 shows the curtain in the wound state. The slot box 11 is arranged directly below the holding device 5 in this embodiment. The sealing of the slots can alternatively be provided in the slotted top wall 12 or in the slot bottom 14. The respective other slot floor, namely the slotted top wall 12 or the slot floor 14, can accommodate cleaning and / or antistatic elements which extend across the entire slot width of the individual slots. The height of the slit box 11 is dimensioned such that the end of the least wound curtain sheet 33 is completely in the slit box 11 when the end of the most wound curtain sheet 30 is just completely wound up.

The embodiment of FIG. 6 has two slot boxes 11 a and 11 b, of which the slot box 11 is arranged at the upper end and the slot box 11 b b at the lower end of the curtain opening 3. In the case of two slotted boxes, the overall height of the individual slotted boxes can be considerably reduced compared to a single slotted box, since the differences in length of the individual curtain sheets 30 to 33 can be absorbed and veneered at both ends of the curtain opening 3. The guide rails 9 are extended in this embodiment up to the slot boxes 11 a, 11 b. The air chambers formed by the curtain tracks 30 to 33 together with the guide rails 9 are sealed on all sides at the upper and lower ends of the curtain by the sealing elements 13 in the slots of the slot boxes 11 and 11b.

The exemplary embodiment in FIG. 7 has partition walls 34, 35 running in the slot boxes 11 and 11b parallel to the extended curtain sheets 30 to 33. These Partitions 34, 35 form separate slot box chambers 36, 37, into which the individual curtain sheets 30 to 33 can dip through the slots 20 to 23. In this way, the individual air chambers between the curtain sheets in the slot boxes 11a, 11b are separated from one another in the manner of a labyrinth seal, so that a convective air exchange in the slot boxes 11a, 11b is not possible. The embodiment of FIG. 7 therefore has no sealing elements at the slots 20 to 23 of the slot boxes 11 a, 11 b.
