Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein Druckwerk aus wenigstens einem gefalteten Papierbogen od. dgl., insbesondere Zeitung.
  • Durch die einfache Faltung können pro Papierbogen vier Seiten bedruckt bzw. zum Tragen von Informationen herangezogen werden, so daß die aus solche gefalteten Papierbogen bestehenden Druckwerke beim Lesen nicht nur aufgeschlagen, sondern entsprechend den aufeinanderfolgenden Bogenteilen auch umgeblättert werden müssen. Bedingt durch das gegenüber Büchern meist größere Format dieser Druckwerke werden dann die Bogen gerne umgeschlagen, was für den Zeitungsleser in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, im Kaffeehaus oder an anderen Orten beengter Platzverhältnisse oft sogar zur Notwendigkeit wird. Dieses Umschlagen der Zeitungen oder ähnlicher Druckwerke bereitet aber bei größeren Formaten beträchtliche Schwierigkeiten, da der durch die Faltung der Papierbogen sich ergebende Widerstand das Aufschlagen und Biegen der Bogenteile über 180° hinaus behindert und durch Querfaltenbildungen u. dgl. ein bequemes, in einer Bewegung vorzunehmendes Auf- und Umschlagen unmöglich macht, so daß zum gewünschten Umschlagen des Druckwerkes umständlichste Manipulationen notwendig sind, die nicht nur vom Leser selbst, sondern auch von allen benachbarten Personen als lästig empfunden werden.
  • Gemäß den FR-PSen 2 353 402 und 1 263413 gibt es zwar schon Einbanddeckel für Notizblöcke od. dgl., die mittels vorbereiteter Faltlinien im Bereich des Deckelrückens in mehrere gegeneinander verschwenkbare Abschnitte geteilt sind und das Aufklappen ermöglichen sollen, doch erfordert diese Maßnahme eine bestimmte Rückenstärke und ist bei gefalteten Papierbogen nicht anwendbar. Wie die US-PS 835887 zeigt, wurde auch schon vorgeschlagen, bei einfachen Blättern mehrere gleichorientierte Faltlinien nebeneinander anzuordnen, um ein flaches Aufschlagen dickerer Druckwerke zu erreichen. Ein Umschlagen eines gefalteten Papierbogens um 360° wird dadurch nicht erleichtert.
  • Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Druckwerk der eingangs geschilderten Art mit einfachsten Maßnahmen so zu verbessern, daß es sich zum Lesen bequem handhaben, insbesondere mit einem Griff umschlagen läßt.
  • Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe dadurch, daß dem Bug der Faltung eine parallele vorbereitete Faltlinie für eine Gegenfaltung im Bereich dieses Buges zugeordnet ist. Eine solche Faltlinie kann ohne besonderen Aufwand im Zuge der Fertigung des Druckwerkes auf jede geeignete Weise, beispielsweise durch Vorprägen auf die Papierbogen aufgebracht werden und wirkt in Kombination mit dem Bug zum Umschlagen der Bogen sozusagen als Gelenk, das zusammen mit der versteifenden Wirkung der Faltung das Umbiegen der Bogenteile um 180° hinweg ohne jede Störung erlaubt und unabhängig davon, ob ein oder mehrere Bogen vorhanden bzw. die Bogen lose ineinandergelegt oder zusammengeheftet sind, mit einer Bewegung ein einwandfreies Umschlagen dieser Bogen gewährleistet.
  • Sind erfindungsgemäß die Faltlinien jeweils auf dem hinteren der beiden durch den Bug entstehenden Bogenteile vorbereitet, wird das Umschlagen insbesondere bei einer größeren Anzahl ineinandergelegter Papierbogen weiter erleichtert, da dann die Bogenteile beim Aufschlagen gleich von der Faltung der übrigen Bogen durch das Abwärtsschwenken freikommen und nicht um diese Faltung herum umgeschlagen werden müssen.
  • In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand an Hand eines schematischen Schnittbildes veranschaulicht.
  • Um einfach gefaltete Papierbogen 1 schwierigkeitslos auf- und auch umschlagen zu können, ist im Bereich des Buges 2 eine Faltlinie 3 zum Gegenfalten vorbereitet, und zwar weist der hintere Bogenteil 1a des durch die Faltung zweigeteilten Bogens 1 diese Faltlinie 3 auf. Bug 2 und Faltlinie 3 bilden gewissermaßen ein Gelenk, das ein problemloses Umschlagen des jeweils oberen Bogenteils 1b um 360° nach unten ermöglicht. Beim Aufschlagen dieses Bogenteils 1 b (strichlierte Darstellung) öffnet sich der Bug 2 und gleichzeitig wird die Faltung um die vorbereitete Faltlinie 3 eingeleitet. Ein Umbiegen des Bogenteils 1b über 180° hinaus setzt die Tendenz der Faltung um die Faltlinie 3 fort, wobei sich nur die Versteifung durch den Bug 2 vorteilhaft auswirkt (strichpunktierte Darstellung), und streckt nach Beendigung dieser Faltung den ursprünglichen Bug 2, so daß sich ein vollkommen einwandfreies Umschlagen des Bogenteiles 1 um 360° (punktierte Darstellung) ergibt, bei der dann der Bogen 1 mit geöffnetem Bug 2 um die Faltlinie 3 gefaltet ist.
  • Durch die einfache Maßnahme einer vorbereiteten zusätzlichen Faltlinie zum Gegenfalten wird das Hantieren auch von Druckwerken mit mehreren ineinandergelegten oder zusammengehefteten Papierbogen beliebigen Formates wesentlich erleichtert und vor allem auch das Umschlagen der Bogenteile mit einer Handbewegung durchführbar.

Claims (2)

1. Druckwerk aus wenigstens einem gefalteten Papierbogen od. dgl., insbesondere Zeitung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem Bug (2) der Faltung eine parallele vorbereitete Faltlinie (3) für eine Gegenfaltung im Bereich dieses Buges zugeordnet ist.
2. Druckwerk nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Faltlinien (3) jeweils auf dem hinteren (1 b) der beiden durch den Bug (2) entstehenden Bogenteile (1a, 1b) vorbereitet sind.
