Definitions
- the invention relates to a support ring of the type mentioned in the preamble of the main claim.
- a support frame for laundry bags of the type mentioned above is known, the support ring is rigid and is provided in its upper cross-sectional half with a rubber or plastic cover holding the upper bag section.
- a similar support frame is the subject of DE-PS No. 1216759.
- the support ring is wide at its upper edge and has parallel or downwardly diverging ring surfaces, the surface having a nubby rubber covering or the like which holds the upper edge of the bag solely by means of static friction Material with a roughened surface is provided.
- DE-GM No. 1683517 discloses a device for keeping the filling opening of sacks open, which consists of a ring with a coaxial conical ring-like extension and an elastic cord which, over most of its length, the upper, collar-like folded sack edge against the conical Radially press approach near the ring.
- a bag holder with a similar effect is known, which consists of a cross-sectionally U-shaped elastic inner ring that is open to the outside and consists of a profile rod with spaced ends and a closed outer ring, which is interposed by the upper Sack edge in the inner ring.
- the invention has for its object to provide a support frame with which an evenly secure and non-slip holding of the sack in its clamping position on the support ring is ensured over the circumference of the support ring, and an uncomplicated clamping of the upper edge of the sack on the cover ring and a simple and time-saving release of the upper edge of the bag from the cover ring is possible, which itself is easy to manufacture and can be easily attached to the support ring.
- the invention provides the features of the characterizing part of the main claim.
- the features of the subclaims serve to improve and further develop the features of the main claim.
- the advantage of the support frame according to the invention is evident in the captivity of the band on the cover ring or on the support frame on which the cover ring is fixedly and displaceably attached. Furthermore, the cover ring with the ring rib attached to it and the band can easily be produced from a band-shaped profile part, the ends of which are connected to form a closed ring.
- the easy up and down folding of the band means that the user only has to guide the band between his hands in the desired open or down position and this only over 180 ° to 200 ° on the support ring or cover ring circumference, since the band is due to its longitudinal elasticity over the rest of the circumference automatically folds into its new position and either clamps the upper edge of the bag between the cover ring and the belt or releases the upper edge of the bag when it is folded down.
- the band can be folded down easily by pulling the outer section of the collar-like envelope downwards, as a result of which the band or strip is folded over by itself.
- the support frame is essentially formed from the support or base plate 1, the three support feet 2 arranged obliquely thereon as well as the upper part 3 (FIGS. 1 and 2) and the support ring 6 with coating 7 (FIGS. 3 and 4).
- the underside of the support or foot plate 1 carries swivel casters 4, with the aid of which the supporting frame can be moved on all sides. Instead of the rollers 4, feet can also be provided.
- the support feet 2 are flattened at their upper end at 5 and there they carry the support ring 6, which is rectangular in cross section.
- the support ring 6 is placed upright and bears the annular cover 7 shown in cross section in its original form in FIG. 3, which has an inner wall 8 and a reinforced one Head wall 9, the ring grooves 10, ribs, cams, or the like on its top. wearing.
- a further wall 11 runs parallel to the inner wall 8 and has the same or similar thickness as the inner wall 8.
- an annular bead 12 projects outwards.
- the lower end of the coating 7 carries an inwardly directed annular flange 13 which extends approximately at a right angle to the outer wall 11, but preferably includes an angle of less than 90 ° with this wall.
- annular rib 14 which is tapered in its cross section compared to the cross section of the walls 8, 11 and the flange 13. This preferably forms an angle with the wall 11 of less than 90 ° and merges into a longitudinally elastic band of rectangular cross section 15, which runs approximately parallel to the walls 8 and 11 and a stronger one Cross-section has as the cross-section of the annular rib 14.
- the cross-section of the band 15 can correspond to that of the walls 8 and 11.
- the band 15 which is rectangular in cross section, projects with its upper end beyond the top wall 9 and the bead-like reinforcement 12 and carries a bead-like reinforcement 16 there.
- the wall 8 of the cover ring lies on the inside 17 in the position of use of the support ring 6, while the head part 9 is supported on the narrow upper side 18 of the rectangular, preferably metallic support ring 6 and the wall 11 comes to rest on the outer wall 19 of the support ring.
- the lower ring flange 13 of the cover ring 7 lies against the underside 20 of the support ring, so that the support ring is encompassed by the approximately closed cross section of the cover ring 7.
- the cover ring can be glued to the support ring in the position mentioned.
- the band or the strip 15 is parallel or approximately parallel to the walls 8, 11 of the cover ring and to the support ring 6, the wall 21 of the bag S initially with its section 22 on the inner wall 8 of the coating 7 abuts and the section 23 on the ring ribs 10 of the head part 8 is supported. From the outside, the edge of the bag edge 24 lies against the outside of the wall 11 of the cover ring, while the U-shaped envelope 25 of the edge of the bag rests in the vicinity or directly on the tapered ring rib 14.
- the folded-over section 26 of the upper edge of the sack thus lies against the inside of the band 15 and the further upper section of the sack edge 27 lies around the reinforcement 16 and from the outside against the band 15, the sack edge section 27 under great tension tightening the band 15 in the direction of the arrows F presses against the support ring 6.
- the sack wall surfaces 26 and 24 are pressed together and at the same time the sack wall section 24 is pressed against the wall 11. This effect is further supported by the fact that the reinforcement 16 is pressed against the annular bead 12.
- the upper edge of the sack is clamped in the support ring by first placing the upper edge of the sack in a collar-like manner around the cover ring 7, the outer portion of the edge of the sack 28 being in the position according to FIG. 6 when the band 15 is folded down. Thereafter, the tape 15 is raised in the direction of arrow K in Fig. 6, i.e. folded up, the corresponding sack edge portions 24, 26 are clamped between the belt 15 and the wall 11 of FIG. 5.
- This folding over of the band 15 is simple in that it only requires holding the two sections 24, 26 between the wall 11 and the band 15 with the thumb of each hand and the band with the remaining fingers of both hands in the direction of the arrow K.
- the supporting ring is particularly suitable for sacks which are open at the top and overlap with side wall sections, the upper edge of which is easily adaptable to the diameter of the covering ring 7 on the supporting ring 6.
- the cover ring 7 can be made from a section of a continuous profile strip, the ends of which can be combined into a ring.
- the band 15 is given such a width or height that its upper edge ends below the bead 12 of the cover ring, as shown in FIG. 4.
- the bead 12 of the cover ring 7 should cover at least half of the cross section of the band.
- the bead 12 covers the band 15 in such a way that the outer edge 12a of the bead 12 cuts off with the outer wall 15a of the band 15. This ensures that when the cover is pivoted downward, its downwardly projecting flange does not unintentionally press the band 15 downward from the position shown in FIG. 4 into the position shown in FIG.
