Description

  • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine quaderförmige Sammelpackung zum Tragen, Stapeln und Palettieren, in deren Mitte sich ein mit einem Griff versehener Kanister befindet. Durch eine Durchbrechung hindurch kann die Sammelpackung am Griff des Kanisters in der Mitte aufgenommen und getragen werden. Bekannt sind durch die Patentschrift GB-A-1 473 191 derartige Sammelpackungen für eine Anzahl von Kanistern, bei denen an den offenen Seiten U-förmige Verschlußstreifen die Kanister in der Packung halten. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine solche Sammelpackung in der Befülltechnik, in der Handhabung und in der Sicherheit der Verschlußmittel zu verbessern. Die Verbesserung einer derartigen Sammelpackung besteht darin, daß die Grifflochausstanzung die Breite eines Kanisters besitzt und von der Deckelwand über deren Kante in die eine Seitenwand des Kartonringes hineinreicht wie dies im Kennzeichen des Anspruches 1 angegeben ist. Dadurch ist es ohne Werkzeug und ohne Beschädigung der Sammelpackung möglich, den mittleren Kanister zur Entnahme durch die Grifföffnung herauszuziehen und danach die restlichen Kanister ze beiden Seiten aus der Umhüllung durch ebendiese Öffnung zu entnehmen. In umgekehrter Reihenfolge kann die Sammelpackung leere oder gefüllte Kanister wieder aufnehmen. Das die Sammelpackung als Ganzes van außen ringförmig umreifende Kunststoffband mit Heißsiegelverschluß gibt der Sammelpackung eine große Festigkeit, da es nicht herausreißen kann. Ein solches Kunststoffband wird heute mit in der Verpackungstechnik üblichen automatischen Umreifungsmaschinen sehr rasch mit nach Wunsch einstellbarer Bandspannung verschweißt. Es kann vorteilhaft sein, anstelle einer Verbindung des Kartonringes durch Klebeband, welches die ringförmige Umhüllung schließt, eine Klebelasche an der einen Seitenwand anzuordnen, die die Kartonumhüllung mit der Deckelwand verbindet, so daß diejenige Stelle der Umhüllung, welche beim Tragen der Sammelpackung mittels des Griffes des mittigen Kanisters besonders belastet wird, durch die Klebelasche verdoppelt wird. Durch eine derartige Ausnutzung der von der Klebelasche ohnehin gebildeten Verstärkung läßt sich erreichen, mit dünnwandigerem Kartonmaterial auszukommen und Material zu sparen.
  • Im folgenden ist die Erfindung anhand von Zeichnungen, in denen Ausführungsbeispiele dargestellt sind, näher erläutert. Es zeigen
    • Fig. 1 die perspektivische Darstellung einer tragbaren Sammelpackung gemäß der Erfindung für drei Kunststoffkanister.
    • Fig. 2 eine Kartonzuschnitt mit Klebelasche, aus dem die dazugehörige Umhüllung hergestellt wird.
    • Fig. 3 die perspektivische Darstellung einer tragbaren Sammelpackung gemäß der Erfindung für einen Kanister und je zwei seitlich angeordnete Faltschachteln.
  • In den Figuren ist 1 die Kartonumhüllung, welche in Fig. 1 + 3 zu der Form eines in sich geschlossenen Ringes gefaltet ist, der durch die Klebelasche 2 zusammengehlten wird, während sie in Fig. 2 in Abwicklungsdarstellung als Zuschnitt gezeichnet ist. Die Umhüllung 1 ist in ihrem oberen Teil mit einer Durchbrechung 3 versehen, durch welche der Griff 4 des mittleren von drei in der Sammelpackung enthaltenen Kanistern für eine Hand von außen her zugänglich ist. Zu beiden Seiten ist die zu einem geschlossenen Ring gefaltete Kartonumhüllung 1 offen. Durch die Öffnung auf der rechten Seite von Fig. 1 ist der links neben dem mittleren Kanister angeordnete Kanister 5 sichtbar. Die Sammelpackung ist als Ganzes von einem ringförmigen, die offenen Seiten der Umhüllung 1 überspannenden Halteband 6 umreift. Die Durchbrechung 3 reicht von der Deckelwand 7 der Umhüllung 1 über deren Kante 8 bis auf die eine, in Fig. 1 + vorn liegenden Seitenwand 9 der Umhüllung. An die Durchbrechung 3 schließt sich eine durch seitliche Perforation 10 begrenzte Klappe 11 an, durch deren Lösung die Durchbrechung vergrößert werden kann. Die Klebelasche 2, welche die ringförmige Umhüllung 1 schließt, ist an der gleichen Deckelwand 7 der Umhüllung angeordnet, in welche die Durchbrechung 3 hineinreicht, so daß diejenige Stelle der Umhüllung 1, welche beim Tragen der Sammelpackung mittels des Griffes 4 an dem mittleren Kunststoffkanister die Last von der Umhüllung auf diesen zu übertragen hat, d. h. die Stelle, an welcher die Verschlußkappe 12 des mittleren Kanisters die Kartonumhüllung 1 berührt, durch die Klebelasche 2 verstärkt wird.
  • Die Umhüllung kann entweder als Ring vorgeformt und von der Seite mit den Kanistern gefüllt werden, oder die Kanister können auf dem flach liegenden Kartonzuschnitt nebeneinander gestellt und dieser um die Kanisterreihe herum gefaltet und die übereinander gefalteten Enden des Zuschnitts miteinander verbunden werden.

Claims (5)

1. Quaderförmige Sammelpackung zum Tragen, Stapeln und Palettieren, in deren Mitte sich ein mit einem Tragegriff versehener Kanister befindet und die eine Kartonumhüllung (1) aufweist, die als ein in sich geschlossener, gefalteter Ring aus einem streifenförmigen, an seinen Enden verbundenen Kartonzuschnitt gestaltet ist, seitlich offen ist und von einem ringförmigen, die offenen Seitenwände der ringförmigen Umhüllung mittig überspannenden Umreifungsband verschlossen ist und die in ihrer Deckelwand (7) mit einer Durchbrechung (3) versehen ist, so daß die Sammelpackung von außen am Griff des Kanisters in der Mitte aufgenommen und getragen werden kann, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Durchbrechung (3) von der Deckelwand (7) über die Kante bis in die Seitenwand (8) der Kartonumhüllung reicht und die Breite des Kanisters in der Mitte besitzt, so daß die Sammelpackung von außen am Griff des Kanisters getragen werden kann, und daß gleichfalls durch die Durchbrechung hindurch zuerst der mittlere Kanister ohne Beschädigung der Sammelpackung zur Entnahme herausgezogen werden kann und danach die restlichen Behälter seitlich durch ebendiese Öffnung entnommen werden können, wobei die beschädigungslose Entnahme es ferner gestattet, geleerte Behälter in der quadeförmigen Sammelpackung zur Weiterverwendung zurückzuführen.
2. Sammelpackung nach Anspruch 1 bei der anstelle gleicher Kanister beidseits vom mittigen Kanister quaderförmige, symmetrisch angeordnete Behälter (13) mit untereinander gleichem Volumen und Gewicht angeordnet sind, die so gestaltet und bemessen sind, daß sie den Innenquerschnitt der ringförmigen, gemeinsamen Kartonumhüllung beiderseits des Kanisters vollständig ausfüllen.
3. Sammelpackung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2 dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich an die Durchbrechung (3) einedurch seitliche Perforation (10) in der Kartonumhüllung begrenzte Klappe (11) anschließt, durch deren Lösung die Durchbrechung (3) zur Entnahme des mittleren Kanisters vergrößert werden kann.

Sammelpackung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß anstelle einer Verbindung durch Klebeband, welches die ringförmige Umhüllung schließt, eine Klebelasche an der einen Seitenwand angeordnet ist, die die Kartonumhüllung mit der Deckelwand (7) verbindet, so daß diejenige Stelle der Umhüllung, welche beim Tragen der Sammelpackung mittels des Griffes (4) besonders belastet wird, durch die Klebelasche verstärkt wird.
5. Sammelpackung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß anstelle der Klebelasche (2) eine zusätzliche der Deckelwand annähernd formgleiche, volle Wandfläche vorgesehenen und mit der Deckelwand zu einer doppellagigen Wand verbunden ist.
