Definitions

  • the invention relates to a living room skylight with a cover frame provided with a covering frame and a hinged or hinged window sash with a window pane inserted into a circumferential sealing profile.
  • DE-U 7616021 shows a window frame profile that can be inserted into a wooden window frame with a stop flange for the window and a connecting flange that can be pressed on by a flexible strip after the window has been inserted.
  • a roof window is also known from FR-A 2202219, in which the panes can be used in a rigid window frame made of sheet metal by means of an E-profile.
  • window frame profiles that can be used in rigid frames are known from GB-A 1438336, DE-B 1152803 and FR-A 85188. Furthermore, from DE-C 1157758 a window frame made of extruded thermoplastic plastic profiles is known which have continuous metal inserts of T or double T shape for stiffening. With all these known profiles, the problem underlying the invention cannot be solved, namely for the entire roof window, i. H. Lining box with cover frame, window sash with insertable pane, a completely watertight, UV-radiation resistant and also astonishingly simple overall construction that can be assembled in a modular manner, and which is incredibly simple to create, which can meet all requirements for such a roof window without compromise. Above all, this applies to rational production.
  • both the frame of the feed box and the frame of the window sash consist of a profile which is at least U-, E- or double-T-shaped in cross section and consists of a weather-resistant, rubber-like elastic material, in the material formed by the profile internal, all-round grooves, the window panes or inner, rigid frame profiles can be used, which are at least partially positively encompassed by the elastic jacket profile and sealingly connect these parts to the outside to form a rigid frame structure.
  • the invention solves this problem by consistently using a single material made of elastic, rubber-like and at the same time fully weather-resistant synthetic rubber that has been used as a glazing profile for years in window construction.
  • this material were so optimally used by the respective, correct and suitable profile design of the cross-sections and prestresses that an all-round closed, flexible at the corners and tight, the entire window element from the outside is created, which the preferably loose inner parts together with each other in a modular manner connects, seals against each other and connects with detachable fittings to stable frame units.
  • the seals are either molded on or given by the properties of the material itself.
  • the connection to the roof skin is integrated in the window element and, in the form of an all-round circuit board, adapts universally to any type of roof covering due to its flexibility.
  • the storage is done with a material that is unsuitable for rigid profiles, which connects the individual parts of a kit with many elegant steps by means of fittings, whereby the positive properties of the material are used constructively and the negative properties for the construction are eliminated.
  • a jacket profile 1 which consists of a weather-resistant, rubber-like elastic material.
  • a pane 2 which can also be designed as a double pane, can be inserted into this frame profile, which can be bent in any shape to form a frame that is either closed or open on one side. It can easily be seen that only the shape of the pane determines the shape of the frame. In other words, depending on whether the pane is square, rectangular, hexagonal or round, a frame will be obtained which conforms to the outer circumference of the pane.
  • the casing profile 1 forming the frame with the corner constructions 3, 4, 5 and 6 has an upper, inwardly directed leg 8, possibly a middle leg 9 with possibly a frame 10 and a lower leg 11, which may be on it Bottom carries a sealing lip 12, which serves to seal the feed box 13.
  • Corner 5 is simply z. B. bent by 90 °.
  • the pane 2 must of course also be rounded off at the same corner.
  • the corner 4 is formed in that the outer leg 8 of the jacket profile visible here is cut out in such a way that the two edges of the upper leg 8 now abut each other. It should be particularly pointed out that here only the upper leg 8 and of course the lower leg 11 of the jacket profile 1 are cut out, but that the web is not cut under any circumstances.
  • a third possibility is that the ends at the corner 3 or the corners are cut off at 45 ° (at a right angle) and then after assembly either vulcanized (Ekke 3) or with a cyanite adhesive that sets in a matter of seconds (corner 6), which does the job Material of the cladding profile loosens. Vulcanization takes place in the factory, and gluing can also take place “on site”.
  • the jacket profile 1 itself thus consists of the upper leg 8, the lower leg 11 and a web 14, to which the middle leg 9 with the frame 10 is preferably connected.
  • the jacket profile 1 which preferably consists of ethylene-propylene-tar polymer rubber, is placed in whole or in part as a ring around the disk. The corners are manufactured as described and joined together.
  • the inner frame parts 7 can be connected as a whole or in parts by fitting the lower legs 11 of the casing profile 1 or by pushing them into the casing profile 1. The inevitably resulting tensile stresses, which arise both in the longitudinal direction and in all other directions of the profile, cause the casing profile 1 to all parts of the wing, d. H.
  • the pane 2 and the inner frame parts 7 are kept in a sealing and insulating manner.
  • compressive or tensile stresses are built up at individual points, which serve to press the upper leg 8 of the cladding profile 1 against the glass pane 2 and, if present, on a middle leg 10, which by rests at the bottom of the pane 2, is to be supported elastically and at the same time seals.
  • the small frame 10 at the end of the middle leg 9 serves to better nestle and hold the profile 1.
  • middle leg 9 a corresponding sealing insert can be used instead, but the use of the middle leg 9 is preferred.
  • the lower leg 11 of the casing profile encloses the inner frame parts 7 from below and additionally has a sealing lip 12 which rests on the top of the feed box 13.
  • the fastening of the glass pane 2 together with the inner frame parts 7, which are preferably made of wood or a wood-like material, is thus completed. It should be noted that these frame parts 7 can be removed in an equally simple manner without any special tools. The same applies to disc 2.
  • the lips 15 and 16 arranged on the outside of the cladding profile form, together with the web 14 of the cladding profile, a U-shaped profile which serves, for example, to accommodate decorative strips, but in particular also to accommodate fittings.
  • These decorative strips 17 can be made of any material per se and do not have to be connected to one another at the corners, since they have no sealing function.
  • these decorative strips consist of a weather-resistant and / or insulating material that is at least so stable that it holds itself by clamping in the two lips 15, 16 drawn in downwards or upwards. It is only essential that the decorative black cladding profile 1 can be contrasted in color by these decorative strips 17. If the decorative strips 17 are made correspondingly stable, this results in an additional stiffening effect on the jacket profile 1.
  • casing profile 1, decorative strips 17 and / or fittings 18 can be connected to one another in a wide variety of ways.
  • the decorative strip 17 can abut the fitting 18.
  • the decorative strip has a thickness on its inside of the fitting has a corresponding recess so that the fitting itself is hidden under the decorative strip.
  • the feed box 13 is constructed in a modular manner in exactly the same way as the wing 20.
  • the lower leg 11 of the casing profile 1 with molded sealing lips 12 is used in the feed box 13 for insulation and sealing against a covering frame 21, which in this case is only used as a board 23 is formed and extends only in a single plane.
  • the middle leg 9 of the casing profile can either be grooved, folded over or separated.
  • the upper leg 8 presses, as in the case of the glass pane 2, as a seal 22 onto the upper edge of the feed box and stores it against the outside world when the window is open.
  • it serves for the elastic sealing between the wing 20 and the feed box 13 and thus makes the previously common, often leaky overlaps at this point superfluous.
  • the outer lips 15 and 16 are also used, as in the case of the window sash 20, for receiving decorative strips and / or fittings.
  • the previously usual complex and only by overlapping more or less good covering frame 21 are replaced here by a simple board 23 which can be plugged together from individual parts.
  • the whole window can basically only be assembled from three essential parts in a modular manner and just as easily disassembled, namely from the casing profile, the pane and the inner frame part. It has been shown that after the assembly of these parts there is an extraordinarily stable, torsionally rigid window, which is present at all corners and is completely sealed all around. If, on the one hand, the legs or lips of the UE- or T-shaped cladding profile are directed towards one another or provided with corresponding frames, a tension is achieved, the pressure of which is sufficient to firmly connect the corresponding parts of the window to one another, although the cladding profile 1 is made of soft, pliable material.
  • the web 14 now has a cavity 24 which can either be closed or slotted on one long side, preferably on the inside.
  • a profile 25 which is stiff in the vertical direction and flexible in the longitudinal direction can then either be inserted into this cavity or, if the cavity is not closed, can be inserted by bending.
  • This profile can be made of any material, but preferably aluminum.
  • the construction according to the invention is of course excellently suitable for windows of all kinds, but in particular also for front windows.
