Definitions

  • the invention relates to a safety device according to the preamble of the claim.
  • a generic device in which a rotatably mounted angle of small mass is attached in the curved region of the coin path, which is connected with a z. B. is monitored as a light barrier trained switch.
  • a complete prevention of the actuation of the coin contact switch of the machine by means of a coin attached to a thread cannot be achieved, because in the event that the thread is not tightened when the coin is inserted, the thread will not actuate the safety switch either .
  • H. the coin contact switch is closed and the addition relay is set. After the sales process, the inserted coin can then be easily removed again using a thread, since no corresponding one-way obstacles are built into the coin path.
  • DE-A-2 326 343 describes a cashier device in which a slot is provided in which the thread of the coin slides in favorably, so that the coin lies against an edge of the channel base when the thread coin is pulled up.
  • the control of the turnout described therein by means of a light barrier has the effect that the turnout is unlocked by coins rolling past the light barrier and remains locked by coins which remain for a longer time.
  • it is easily possible to roll past the light barrier of thread coins so that afterwards, by briefly pulling the thread of the coin hanging in the entry area of the cassette, this coin is flung over the light barrier again to the break point of the coin path and there can be held by thread. It is then possible to roll the same coin past the light barrier a second time.
  • DE-A-2 260 220 discloses a locking device in the coin channel for preventing the withdrawal of coins attached to threads.
  • a leg of the movable locking flap which is directed in the direction of fall of the coins, projects into the coin channel and automatically pivots against the opposite wall of the coin channel.
  • a telephone coin collector is known from US-A-2 332 018, in which a peg-shaped trigger blocks the return path of a coin. This can be used to prevent further withdrawal of the coin by means of a thread in the coin channel over the trigger, but here too it is not sufficient to prevent fraud during and / or after the checkout process (e.g. multiple evaluation), since the presence of the thread itself does not is recognized.
  • US-A-3 998 309 provides a three sensor detector which indicates irregular coin movements from the direction of passage of the coin through the detector area. With this device, the return path of the coin cannot be blocked by means of a thread, nor can fraud be prevented during and / or after the checkout process, since the thread itself is not detected.
  • the task is therefore to create a security device on vending machines to prevent fraud with the help of the thread trick, by means of which a safe thread detection, the generation of a signal upon thread detection for the implementation of security measures and the prevention of manipulations, in particular the retraction of the thread hanging coin are guaranteed.
  • the object is achieved according to the invention by the measures specified in the claim.
  • a coin can already be classified as invalid in the course of the value check if a suitable detector detects a thread in the coin path.
  • the evaluating control device causes the coin to be rejected, i. H. Return to the output tray.
  • the coin path 2 begins at the coin entrance 5. After the coin exit 6, an intermediate cash desk 8 is arranged, on which there is a one-way coin lock 11. Located in front of a coin box 9 there is a checkout switch 7 in the coin path. In its rest position, this leads a coin into an output tray 10.
  • the sensitivity of the thread sensor must be sufficient to detect a thread that may run over several edges behind the safety device, thereby reducing the effective coin weight.
  • the thread sensor contains an angle 3 made of metal or plastic, the mass of which is very small (less than one gram). This is important both with regard to the response threshold and with regard to the inertia behavior with very short thread tensions.
  • the angle 3 is shaped so that a lateral circumvention by the thread is impossible.
  • the shape and length of the coin path must be designed so that a thread straightened between any point on the coin inlet 5 and coin outlet 6 always has an inflection point at the angle 3.
  • the geometric condition for maintaining a kink on the thread sensor can be seen from FIG. x should be greater than 5 mm.
  • the checkout switch 7 is opened or remains open.
  • the control unit now goes through a cycle consisting of a pause of several seconds and three cancellation processes.
  • the cancellation processes prevent the thread from being pinched by the flaps of the disposable coin lock 11 and the coin weight thus becoming ineffective and that a coin can be supported on the flap inner walls.
  • the thread is tightened again and again on impulse by the flaps being flipped. Furthermore, the thread may be cut by the edges of the flaps. If a thread signal occurs in the course of the cycle, the occurrence is always noted again, so that another cycle takes place. Only when a complete cycle without thread signal has expired is the error handling aborted and the checkout gate closed again.
  • the thread sensor 1 To reliably prevent these possibilities, the thread sensor 1 must emit a continuous signal as long as the angle 3 is outside its rest position.
  • Another possibility of fraud would be to withdraw the coin on the thread to above thread sensor 1 in order to avoid triggering the signal. This is prevented by attaching a one-way coin lock 11 to coin path 2, on which the coins jam securely. So that multiple evaluation of the coin hanging on a thread is prevented by repeated pulling and pulling, the coin check must be arranged before or in the coin path 2, but the generation of the coin check completion signal behind the coin lock 11. After the coin check has been properly completed, the coin cannot be withdrawn.
  • the security device recognizes in a vending machine a thread attached to a coin with great certainty and thereby prevents fraud by using the thread trick.
