Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for producing plastic bags from an intermittently advancing flat tubular film web and for depositing them in groups that overlap with one another on an intermittently drivable conveyor belt.
  • the holding device In a device known from GB-A-2 026 988 of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1, the holding device consists of two comb-like rows of needles which reach through elongated holes in a support plate bridging the gap between the cutting device and the conveyor belt and to below from this one. are attached with drives provided drives. which alternately move a row from their needle position projecting above the support plate into a position advanced against the conveyor belt. Before or at the start of the feed movement, the other row in the advanced position is withdrawn from the stack under the support plate and moved into the needle position during the advance stroke.
  • the belt drive is switched on, so that the next bag is needled first onto the row of needles moved into its needling position and covers the stack that has been pushed off in a scale-like manner.
  • the blown air flow passing over the stack of bags cannot disorder the stack. because the bags are either needled onto a row of needles that hold them or the stacks are covered in a scaly manner by the bag or bags in the following stack.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a device of the type specified at the outset, with which imperforate bags can be produced.
  • the shingled bags lying one above the other are at a distance from one another which corresponds approximately to the distance from the cross-cutting device to the first row of suction holes.
  • the respective end of the tubular film web is carried forward by the blown air flow to below the lowerable pressure roller. If the tubular film web is now pressed down by the cutting knife or another part of the cutting device, the belt drive is switched on while simultaneously lowering the pressure roller, so that the opening edge of the penultimate bag sucked in from the rear suction hole row is pulled off and the last bag formed is pulled over the suction hole row until whose opening edge just about covers it.
  • the device is controlled by a control device such that after a group of bags of a predetermined number of bags lying on top of one another has been deposited, the belt drive is switched on with the pressure roller lowered until the opening edge of the last bag of this group lies above the first row of suction holes and is sucked in by the latter. The following bag is sucked in with its opening edge again from the rear row of suction holes, so that larger scale distances are formed to separate the groups.
  • the individual groups of plastic bags can be removed and packed by hand or by machine from the conveyor belt. If the groups of plastic bags are removed by hand, the larger distance between the scales is used. to make it easier for the packer to remove the bags from the conveyor belt and to fill boxes, for example, with the same number of bags or sacks.
  • a device for transferring sheets separated from a web and continuously conveyed in scale formation which is provided with a switch for the removal of determined defective sheets.
  • the individual sheets run into a slower conveying conveyor via a brake plate spaced apart from one another with two rows of suction holes. which transports the sheets lying on top of one another in a shingled manner to a stacking station.
  • the first row of suction holes on the brake plate which is supplied with suction air in time with the passage of the sheets, brakes the sheets fed at a higher speed, while the second row of suction air also serves to hold back the sheet that has already been braked. if an interruption occurs in the sheet feeder due to the removal of a faulty sheet.
  • a device for transferring bags or sacks after their manufacture into a scale formation in which a lifting and lowering pressure roller interacts with the last bag deposited and intermittently conveys it with the bags already underneath .
  • Rear upper and rear lower conveyor belt rollers 2, 3 are mounted between the side frame walls 1 of the machine frame.
  • the divided conveyor belts 5 wm run over these conveyor belt rollers 2, 3 and front conveyor belt rollers 4, which are also mounted between the side frame walls 1.
  • the cross-welding and cross-cutting device 6 is arranged in front of the conveyor belt 5.
  • This consists of a pair of preferred rollers 7 which intermittently pulls the tubular film web 8, which is pulled off from a supply roll, intermittently by one bag or sack length.
  • Blown air nozzles 9 are arranged on both sides of the tubular film web 9 in annular grooves of the preferred rollers 7, which carry the respective front end of the tubular film web 8 stretched.
  • a cross welding device 10 and a cross cutting device 11 are arranged behind the feed rollers 7 in the feed direction. So far, the device is of a known type.
  • a suction box 32 is arranged between the cross cutting device 11 and the rear deflection roller 2.
  • This suction box 32 is connected in a manner not shown to a suction air source and has two transverse rows of suction openings 33, 34 at a distance from one another.
  • the spacing of these rows of suction openings 33, 34 from one another is as large as the spacing X of the groups of bags or sacks that are overlapping on the conveyor belt 5.
  • the distance between the rear row of suction holes 33 and the transverse cutting device 11 corresponds to the simple scale distance Z of the individual bags or sacks within each group.
  • a pressure roller 35 is arranged in the end region of the front ends of the tubular film web which are freely brought forward and is actuated by a pressure medium-piston-cylinder unit 36, the cylinder of which is mounted on the frame.
  • a counter-pressure roller 37 is provided under the conveyor belt 5, against which the lowered pressure roller presses the sacks or bags lying on the conveyor belt, so that they are held against one another and against the conveyor belt.
  • the pressure roller 35 and the counter-pressure roller 37 are designed to be displaceable in and against the conveying direction.
  • the pressure roller 35 lowers onto the counter-pressure roller 37 as soon as a bag has been separated from the knife of the cross-cutting device 11 from the tubular film web 8 until the rear open end of this piece of bag or bag lies over the rear row of suction holes 33 of the suction box 32 lies and is sucked in by this. Then the pressure roller 35 lifts and the next piece of bag or bag is discharged by the blown air stream over the bag or bag piece held by the suction hole row 33.
  • a control device (not shown) is provided which repeats this process until a desired number of pieces of sack in a group has been deposited on the conveyor belt 5, one above the other. A larger scale spacing with dimension X is then formed by appropriate control.
  • the pressure roller 35 is pressed onto the counter-pressure roller 37 until the upper piece of bag has been drawn beyond the suction hole row 33 to the front suction hole region 34 and is held by the latter.
  • the subsequent piece of sack is then pressed by the pressure roller 35 onto the counter-pressure roller 37 only until its open end is above the rear suction hole row 33 and is held by it.
  • the blown air stream emerging from the blown air nozzles 9 is intermittently switched on and off in such a way that the blown air flow is switched off by the pressure roller 35 while the bag is preferred.
  • the blowing air is switched off and the separation welding process is initiated.
  • the last welded-off bag is then advanced by the pressure roller 35 by the amount determining the scale distance, until it has been drawn onto the rear suction hole row in the transport direction and is held by it. Only then is the following bag discharged through the blown air, so that no bag is unsupported whenever the blown air is switched on.
  • This type of control results in a scale in which groups of sacks or bags are separated by larger scale distances X.
  • the negative pressure for the suction air box 32 is such that, on the one hand, the blown air flow that discharges the bag pieces cannot lift the end of the bag from the suction hole row 33 or 34, and on the other hand the bag pieces are easily removed from the suction box 32 by lowering the pressure roller 35 can.
  • the frame of the conveyor belt 5 can be moved via rollers 25, so that it can be moved and replaced by the cross-welding and cutting device 6 in order to replace, for example, the suction box 32.
  • the suction box 32 is expediently provided with suction holes or suction slots over its entire length. This configuration ensures that the ends of the bags are always sucked and held by the suction holes or suction slots of the suction box, the desired scale spacing being formed solely by the particular preference given by the pressure roller.
  • the use of such a suction box also makes the intermittent switching on and off of the suction air for carrying the respective end of the tube superfluous, because each newly formed bag is sucked into its rear region as soon as the welding bar or the cutting knife is lowered and is thereby held.
  • the suction power is to be selected so that the rear ends of the bags are adequately held on the one hand, but on the other hand the bags can be easily removed from the suction box by the pressure roller.
