Through the abutment of the shells against one another, an additional strength of the roller is obtained, so that a possible provision of spacers between mated shell pairs 17, 18 is not necessary.
- the pairs of shells 17, 18 can, however, also have mutual distances from one another in the longitudinal direction of the shaft 12 (not shown).
