Definitions
- the invention relates to a physiological loading device, which has a drive shaft driven by the person to be examined, a freewheel, a transmission gear and, coupled with the accelerated side of the transmission gear, a flywheel and an electric machine in braking operation with connected external control and load circuits.
- the various known physiological load units include the KE 21 device mentioned at the outset, which is sold by the MEDICOR factories, in which a flywheel or ultimately a special type of electrical machine in braking operation is driven via a pedal drive by means of a freewheel.
- the electrical machine is connected to external control or load circuits, which can be used to set the desired load or to compensate for the internal friction, which is approximately 40 to 50 W.
- the known devices are disadvantageous because they have a large weight, which makes handling or transport difficult, and because complex solutions are necessary to compensate for the internal friction, the accuracy of which is not is always sufficient.
- the object of the invention is to create a physiological loading device of the type mentioned, which has a smaller internal friction with a simple structural design.
- the drive shaft is coupled via the freewheel with a disc wheel with internal toothing, in the interior of which there are a plurality of evenly distributed drive pinions of the same dimensions and the same number of teeth which drive a toothed inner shaft which move around the drive shaft is arranged, that the rotor of the electrical machine is arranged on the inner shaft and at the same time forms the flywheel, that the stator of the electrical machine is located next to the disk wheel around the rotor and carries a multi-phase winding which is connected to load circuits, and that the rotor windings are connected to external control circuits.
- the rotor has two iron cores, which are bent towards one another in a disk-like manner and overlap one another as pole shoes, in the space between which the flywheel mass and the rotor windings are located.
- the stator consists of an inner and an outer housing part and an interposed lamella fitting, which is fastened by threaded spindles, and the axes of the driver pinions are fastened to the inner housing part.
- the physiological loading device shown in Fig. 1 consists of a stator and a connected rotor.
- the stator consists of a disc-shaped, inwardly recessed outer housing part 1 and an inner housing part 3, which is held via threaded spindles 2.
- a lamellar fitting 4 is arranged between the outer and inner housing parts 1 and 3. This valve has pole slots and carries a three-phase winding.
- the drive shaft 5 projects on both sides beyond the side walls and namely.jeweils a pedal 8, 9.
- the drive shaft 5 is surrounded by an 'inner shaft 10 having no direct connection with the drive shaft 5 and through the bearing 11 in the outer housing part 1 and is supported by the bearing 12 in the inner housing part 3 ..
- the inner shaft 10 has a collar on both sides, which is delimited by iron yokes 13, 14.
- the iron yokes 13, 14 are disc-shaped and comb-shaped at their ends towards one another, so that these form magnetic cores.
- the terminals of the rotor windings 17 are connected to slip rings 18.
- the excitation current is supplied to the windings 17 of the rotor via the carbon brushes 19 fastened in the outer housing part 1 and the slip rings 18.
- the rotor is driven via the drive shaft 5 by means of pedals 8, 9.
- the drive shaft 5 is coupled to the disk wheel 21 via a freewheel 20.
- the freewheel 20 ensures that the disk wheel 21 experiences a torque only from one direction, so that the disk wheel does not experience any braking during the rotation due to the temporarily stationary pedals.
- the acceleration ratio shown in section in FIG. 2 is located between the disk wheel 21 and the inner shaft 10.
- the disc wheel is toothed on the inner edge.
- the toothing coincides with three driver pinions 22, 23, 24.
- the driver pinions 22, 23, 24 are light plastic gears, the shafts of which are mounted in the inner housing part 3.
- Fig. 1 the driver pinion 22 and its shaft 25 can be seen.
- the shafts of the driving pinions 22, 23, 24 are arranged at the tips of an isosceles triangle, so that they can be found at the same distance from the inner shaft 10.
- the inner shaft 10 has a toothing 26 in the area of the driver pinions 22, 23, 24 in order to achieve an accelerated rotation of the inner shaft 10 by rotating the disk wheel.
- the person to be examined sets the runner inside the device by means of the pedals 8, 9 in a rotational movement.
- the friction loss of the entire drive is about 4 to 5 W, which is a known constant and can therefore be added to the determination.
- an excitation current is passed through the rotor windings 17 by means of a control unit (not shown in the drawing), a three-phase voltage being induced in the windings by the magnetic field that is produced.
- the lamella valve 4 is connected to a brake unit, not shown here, which is basically an adjustable load resistor, so that the doctor can adjust the braking torque.
- the speed can be changed in the range from 20 to 100 rpm, the output power being able to be a maximum of 600 W. Because the excitation and the load are independent of each other, the load can be changed continuously regardless of the speed.
- the small volume compared to previously known devices of similar performance is characteristic.
- the described embodiment has an internal friction of 4 to 5 W, which is negligible compared to the loss of friction of 40 to 50 W of conventional devices and thus compensation by a separate regulation is not necessary.
- the special design of the transmission gear ensures a quiet, smooth and even rotary movement.
